You can try the following workaround to find the root cause of the problem:
Please check if you are facing the same question when working in safe mode.
Step 1.
1. reboot your computer.
2. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows 7 Advanced Startup Options.

I have the HTC Droid Incredible 4 G LTE and whenever I try to connect it to the Manager of HTC, it does not work. My phone says: "Unable to open HTC Sync Manager on your computer. Check that the application is installed and open. " The Manager is open on my laptop and I just re downloaded yesterday. The Manager is currently up-to-date, but my phone does not always connect.
According to HTC, the HTC Droid Incredible 4 G LTE is not compatible with HTC Sync Manager even if HTC Droid Incredible 4 G is. There are forums from HTC that would give advice.

Windows 7 Dell computer laptop connects to the router, but the internet connection is spotty/slow
I recently installed a new Comcast wireless gateway, which includes a built-in router. My Ipod and Ipad work perfectly with this new router connection. My Dell laptop, however, connects to the router without a problem, but it surfing the internet very slowly and sometimes can't access it at all. The router connection remains strong during these periods of power failure, however. I don't get online no problem when I connect directly to the router/modem with an Ethernet cable. Network troubleshooting does not detect a problem, I have released/updated my IP address, and made sure I had updated drivers. The issue still [persists. Any input on what to try next?

I'm doing a clean install of windows xp C:\i386 professional. I can't work around the error above.
Assuming that the file is good:
- Mount the drive in another computer Windows XP.
- Move the folder i386 on the disk.
- Format the drive FAT32
- Bring the i386 on the disk file.
- Start the computer with a Windows 98 boot CD
- Run \i386\Winnt.exe
- Once Windows is installed, you can convert the FAT32 to NTFS drive.
Windows XP not reformatted partitions greater than 32 GB in FAT32, you can keep the score at this size or less. If you want a partition larger than 32 GB, you can use the Windows 98 boot cd to prepare the drive and format it FAT32.
Fdisk can choke on the logical drives NTFS tools as Delpart.exe can cope with this, or you can use the Windows XP disk management tool to remove the partitions on the drive before using the Fdisk and W98 startup disk.
To start the disk management tool type diskmgmt.msc in the box run from the start menu. Windows XP cannot format disks over 32 GB FAT32, but it can ride greater than 32 GB FAT32 drives which have been prepared by other operating systems.

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate on my Toshiba Tecra A4-S211 and provided that the installation went, it seemed that took place without incident; except that when I try to start windows I see: "Starting windows" followed by "Setup prepares your computer for first use" that is displayed for about 3-5 seconds and then it restarts and displays abruptly: "cannot start Windows.
