  Thanks, both. We'll put it down to the vagaries of human nature. It's almost a deal breaker. Using Shift + Ctrl + right arrow to select and "Vault" on the last word in a paragraph is a workaround I can live with that.

  We are recording in both languages, one on the left and the other in the right channel. However, in Adobe Premiere Pro we are not able to separate the track when we take for rough cutting.   You must do this before you add images of the sequence:

  • Select the element (or multiple clips) in the tray
  • Menu > Clip > edit > Audio channels (SHIFT G)
  • Change the 'number of tracks' 2
  • Change the "Format channel" in Mono
  • Reject the message info.

  When you put the clip in a sequence, it will now drop L and R in separate tracks (assuming that your sequence allows this audio model).

• Windows key + left and right arrows does not not with windows RemoteApp

  My office has deployed RemoteApps applications to replace some installed locally.  I and many of my colleagues, have 2-3 monitors and the windows + function "snap" left and right was a very convenient way of juggling several windows on multiple monitors.  Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work with windows RemoteApp.  Does anyone know how to get this working?

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

  I made a new document (72 dpi, preview mode: by default) and I tried to see if it's the same thing on another screen, and it is.

  Or you can try to switch between the GPU and CPU by pressing Ctrl / Cmd + E, or you try disabling GPU performance by clicking on the icon of the rocket in the bar of the App, or on the top of the menu bar, deselect the box Performance GPU. You may also uncheck performance GPU in your preferences.

• Arrows left and right rarely work on Satellite A660-1DW

  I bought this laptop a few weeks ago from Argos to replace my old Vaio specification was the best I could afford. (it was purchased as an A660-17 but the label on the laptop says A660-1DW)

  Was pretty happy with it, but suddenly the left and right arrows must be pressed extremely hard getting them to consider same work. Even in this case, it's rare!

  I use the computer a lot so don't want to have to send for repair, and most of the branches of Argos seem to be sold out of them now.

  Anyone have a suggestion of easy fix? (hit along I know)
