  You say 'I lit to iCloud photo sharing', but what "iCloud photo library?

  If your iCloud photo library-compatible devices is will be synchronized.  iCloud will make sure, that you see the same pictures on all devices. So, if you remove a photo from your iPhone, it will be removed from the Mac as well. Disable the iCloud photo library on your iPhone, if you don't want the same photos on the iPhone like on your Mac.

• Why deleting files, hang

  Hi I tried to remove some jpg files and see that whenever I go to remove the trash window hangs just there, so I have to run the Task Manager to stop it. However, the file will have been sent to the trash.

  It seems slow.  If you are used to use disks formatted FAT32, the stronger NTFS takes significantly longer because it does synchronously things that FAT32 things are started and left under the assumption that they will still complete successfully; and unfortunately that can sometimes cause problems.

  In addition to the suggestion of Ken Blake to find malware, I suggest that you check the installed utilities.  If you have one installed real-time backup programs, some of them can do a real job on the performance.  Try to start safe mode and try some of your slow deletions or copies.  Concerning copies, your antivirus program may cause a big performance hit because they verify each file as it is copied.  Temporarily disable your antivirus can greatly improve speed in many cases.  One thing you might want to try is DEFRAG if you haven't done so recently.  Modern versions of Windows generally do this automatically, but sometimes doing a DEFRAG manual can help.

  I think you will find that if the size of the trash has been put down, or the file is too large, there is a msg that the files will be permanently deleted

  So what do you have? Installed a new drive or just back to the old one? Maybe your disk is not inserted properly or the drive is may be defective.

  Check your drive with certain tools? One useful thing is the "UBCD - Ultimate Boot CD" where are many tools to check the hard disks.

  Before each load, I have to truncate a partition and reload the data in that partition.
  When I tried to insert data into the partition, I got an error called
  ORA-29861: area index is shown LOADING/FAILURE/UNUSABLE
  When I checked my index finger, they were all unusable.
  I don't know if my truncated statement would unusable.
  Once I dropped these unusable indexes, my insert worked.
  Now I guess I have to recreate all the indexes.
  In my view, there is no such thing as enable and disable an Index. It should drop and rebuild them, I guess?
  
  I have however, the advantage of having a partition is to be able to truncate.
  Kindly let me know if I have to go through this every time I have truncate partition and reload it?

  You shouldn't have to drop and re-create the index.

  Before loading, you should be able to:
  change the index unusable.

  on each index. Then, before loading, do:
  ALTER session set skip_unusable_indexes = true;

  then do the load.

  Finally, do:
  ALTER index rebuilt nologging;

  for each index.
