Why do I constantly encounter "Firefox is not responding?
This question, I had business with during about 2 months. I read the questions and comments about this problem with other users, and I think maybe I need to create a new Firefox profile. My computer knowledge is very limited, but I can follow instructions well enough. I wonder if I know what to do once I clicked on the start > run, then type (fiefox.exe Pei once that the menu drops down. I n don't know what version of fiefox I and I put, recall t create a new profile when I swithced to the firefox browser. I don't know my OS is Windows XP and I have Yahoo as my homepage (it's my e-mail for 5 years program). I noticed that Vyper did a lot of research on this particular problem. I think my modules are all updated and I have disabled 2. I just don, t know what to type if firefox asks me if I want to disable this or that, once I have started the process of creating a new profile. Y at - it assistance to me? I liked Firexox when I started first by using the browser, but now it's a pain, it stops on every 12 minuets.

It is never a good idea to expose your e-mail address that easily on the internet as your own because you use it as a username on this forum (perhaps not deliberately, but simply entered the wrong field).
Only an administrator can remove the rear part or otherwise alter the username as stated on this forum.

You must uninstall IE 8 completely which will bring you to IE 7 (in my case) and then install IE 8 via the site updates or microsoft.

Add Remove programs--->
Scroll down to IE 8--->
Click on delete.
IE8 updates must be removed also, if not then click the box 'To see the updates' on the top of the window to scroll down, look for the IE 8 security updates and delete.
Resart your computer and install IE 8.
This worked for me and may or may not work for you.

I restarted the computer, Firefox starts but won't load any pages except in safe mode. It does not meet 'three horizontal bars' icon at the top left. I can do the Edit file... menu appears and the drop-down menus appear, but it wil not load pages.

Firefox is not responding, freezes
