Why do I see that Family Safety Filter turned off every DAY on my child's account?

I check the account of every day and see this message at least once a day:

"Filter disabled by (my email address) (name of the computer).

I have 3 boys who each have a laptop.  I set up parental controls on each laptop with Web filtering and time limits (curfew only).  I noticed that this message at least once a day on any given round top.

I REALLY need to be able to monitor the activity!  Can someone HELP me with this?

Robin

From Internet Explorer

Hello Robin,.

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community forum. I understand that you want to monitor on behalf of your children. By chance, there is a possibility that children know your email address and password. What we suggest is to change your password and see if the problem will be solved or not.

If the problem persists, we need some information from you for more isolation.

  • How to set parental controls?
  • Are on behalf of those children implemented as Standard user or administrator?
  • When you say the name of the computer, it is your computer or your children?
  • In what specific steps you receive the error message?

We look forward to hear from you.

Kind regards.

    Hi Peter,.

Currently, we don't have the option in Family Safety to shut down the computer when the time limit is reached, what we have is to disconnect the user when the deadline has been reached. Even if your child is using the computer, all activities that are conducted will be stopped when your child has been disconnected. Original title: upgrade Windows 10

    Try to upgrade manually:

Why do you say that the FACT table is off standard? I just don't understand.

According to my understanding, normalization is the process of getting rid of redundant. So, the fact table have redundant. So how is it that they say it is off standard.

What dimension tables? They are also OF normailzed?

Can you explain in words simple pls.

    Fact tables are generally standardized.

Dimensions are usually denormalised because they often contain descriptive and rollup/hierarchical data repeated. Snow flake off a dimension will normalize the data.

  • Why isn't windows live family safety blocks websites that I have to say?

When I say Windows Live Family Satey to block sites of certan for other people on my laptop that is not! Help, please...

    Hi Dylan,.

One possible way to solve this problem is to refresh the web filtering settings for your child by turning and then by following the steps below:

    1. connect to https://fss.live.com using your Parent account.
    2. click on change settings under the user name of your child.
    3. request for Web filtering, check the Disable web content filtering , and then Save.
4 tick to enable web filtering you can adjust the slider to different settings.
    5. Save.

After completing the steps above, remember to refresh the client of parental control to update changes made via the Family Safety website. To update the client, click the icon with the 2 arrows found in the upper right.

In addition, if you use select custom to allow and block Web site category please make sure that the domain of the Web site is included (.com, .net, or .org). Let us know what happens then.

  • Access to records with family safety filter?

Is this possible with family safety parental controls / filter to block children to delete files, such as photos, videos, music, etc.?

    Hi Nathans77,

We are happy to help you with your concern. I understand you want to prevent your children from delete files on your computer.

Family safety doesn't have the function to set restrictions on the files, or prevent access to the files on your computer.

What you can do is set the security properties of the files so it cannot be changed. You can also create another user account where your child can not access so that the files cannot be deleted. If you need help in the protection of your files are deleted, you can post it on the forum of Windows.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you!

  • Flash player 11 (11.1.102.55) turns off every time that I reboot!   Win 7 - Thinkpad T500

The craziest thing happened to my laptop.  I had this problem for about 3 weeks.  Whenever I reboot, Adobe Flash Devils player himself.  I say turn off rather than uninstall since when I look in the section programs under control panel it says Flash Player 11.1.102.55 is here.   But when I try to play something like a YouTube video or anything that requires Flash Player it will not run and wrote "you need to update your Adobe Flash Player" or in the case of a video YouTube integrated into a site it says "Adobe Flash Player or browser HTML5 support is required for video playback.".  I use IE 9 to my browser.  So I have to re - install Flash Player on the laptop, and then I can once again play video.

So I just see next point today when I started my computer in the morning. First time I saw it.   From the start and not to do one thing for the laptop, but startup, Windows gave me a message that says "Installing/uninstalling Flash Player 10.1 Adobe r102 has stopped working".  He then generated some files for me and asked if I wanted to send more infoarmtion on the problem.  One of the files is a .txt file.    The other was a mdmp thread and the other was a .xml file.  The .txt file is copied below.
