  OE downloads the messages from the server and has no capability of blocking incipient unless you set rules for such.  So if you get any messages, they are likely in junk e-mail on the server (that OE does not have access to) and you must go to Webmail to access the server, then you can go to the Junk folder and find messages that you do not receive.  OE has no control over the filtering server - you can adjust on the server via webmail.

  One thing to check is that your IP address has been blacklisted for some reason any. Visit a page like check the blacklist, which detects your IP address and then, when you click check blacklists, find it in the most common block lists used by mail servers to filter junk e-mail.

  You can configure message rules to divert these messages.  First set up a rule that if the message is in your e-mail address to stop treating more than rules.  Next, configure a subsequent rule that moves all messages to a junk folder.  All messages not to you will fall a junk e-mail folder, where you can filter.  The value of these two rules after all others that you have defined.  See if that helps any.

  I know that in the past, I had the possibility to mark several files as "undesirable." I think remember me this well, which is an extension, but I don't remember that one.

  I use this because I use at least four folders iMAP as unwanted mail files. One where my mailer backend (spamassassin) puts all the MAILS, two where I put all the MAILS uncaught (which gets reported by using reporting SPAMassassin). And where I put several samples of 'persistent' anti-SPAM to see if I can write more specific rules for SpamAssassin or mailer settings to block/filter those.

  I have two questions to this using the regular configuration of Thunderbird:

  • When accessing one of the other SPAM folders, thunderbird think it should run the junk mail filters on them and everything is moved.
  • I want to have all of these files together. When 1 single folder is marked as spam, CT will be lift it up at the front.
