Why does it show "unicode (UTF-8) after a title of email message that I receive?

When I get an email I see "unicode (UTF-8)" after the title of the email.  My internet and electronic mail are running more slowly than usual these days and I believe that UTF -. 8 thingy

has started when my email is slowed down.  Please notify

You didn't say what program or service that you use to read your email. If Windows Live Mail, the character set wlmail uses to display a message will appear in the title bar for if it is different from your default character to read messages. Usually, this means that the system of the sender specified character set in the message headers. It is perfectly normal.

It has no connection with problems of performance on your computer. You can post problems that you encounter on the forum for Vista performance with a detailed description. Any questions about Windows Live Mail, please visit the specific program forums.
