Why does take so long to clear the Firefox cache in Firefox 22?
When I clear the cache, now it takes about 30 seconds. My Mac crashes after clicking "Clean now", and sometimes Firefox will crash.
If Firefox detects that it crashed, it invalidates the cache and does not use its content. If you clear the cache after an accident also causes an accident - at a time when the cache is very rarely used - files may be damaged. Please see message of cor - el to the subject to physically delete files.
I am migrating from a system that has the habit of using a PCI-6133 (8 channels HAVE simultaneous) and PCI-6733 (8 channels AO) to one that uses a PXI-6133 and PXI-6733 mounted in a PXI-1033 chassis.
In general, things seem to be working (synchronized I / AO to run near the maximum speed on both devices), with the exception that the compensation an AO task on the PXI-6733 takes always (the order of 20-30 seconds).
Even when I try the generation of the sine wave for the PXI-6733 in MAX test Panel, it takes the same amount of time to stop the task. If I switch to the use of interrupts as transfer mechanism, it stops immediately.
I tried to use the transfer mechanism of interruption on my more demanding set of synchronized tasks, but that does not produce good behavior (even if he doesn't give any errors).
Is there a trick (or the best diagnosis) to help get my tasks working with DMA under PXI that worked very well on PCI?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you, Patrick. I tried on another computer (Dell T5400) and everything worked as expected. I think that the problems I have experienced on the first computer were due to a conflict with a PXI driver for another card I have not installed during my tests (and which I did not know was PXI, but he appeared as a PXI device in M & A once I put it in it should have a kind of PCI - PXI bridge internal?). So ultimately, pure card / slot / pilot shenanigans and everything seems to be fine now.
Why does take so long to load from the time wherever I power up until it takes to get to the login screen? help taking too long
You should take a look at your startup programs and decide what is really necessary and what is nothing more than useless clutter. There is nothing wrong with the startup programs, some may be really useful or even necessary for your personal needs. But keep in mind that many programs build to start when you start the computer and that most of them must not start when the computer starts, all they do is slow down your boot time and clutter of things when you're trying to solve problems, and some are downright harmful!
I mean, have you really need things like real Planner and Gadwin Print Screen running all the time? These programs will run very well, even if they are not started automatically every time that you start the computer. Go to these programs and change/disable their boot option. Some may be difficult to kill for public assistance services can be useful when you try to control startup programs. Try CodeStuff Starter, it's safe and easy to use, I think you'll like it, download it here:
Use AutoRuns to check axis start, Richard:
Use Cclenar-> tools-> start
I can't tell you what to keep, startup items it is a personal preference, but pretty well all the startup items indicated by CodeStuff Starter are safe to disable, and changes are easy to reverse if you change your mind. Searches for items it shows you and decide whether or not these things are really useful or necessary. Some programs will be started at startup without your knowledge and over time, that list can expand to include useless parasites, part of good computer maintenance includes regular control of these startup items and the removal of the unnecessary.
Suggest that you first spread malware as the cause of the problem by following these steps:
I. - delete your temporary files
Clean the system (compensation to all temp/tmp folders and included all the content offline, the tif browser, delete the cookies of compensation.)
Do a disk cleanup. Click the Start button. in the search box, type disk cleanupand then in the list of results, click Disk Cleanup. Better and easier to use - ccleaner.
Download the basic version (slim) via
The basic version (slim) does not contain the toolbar disgusted
DO NOT USE ANY cleaning of the advanced options. DO NOT TOUCH THE REGISTRY OR TOOLS. At least not for now.
II. - have your system scanned as a result of security/antivirus installed.
III. - download, install, update and run both of these tools to a-squared free scans:
MalwareBytes anti-malware (MBAM)

Why does take so long to open a document in microsoft office, imaging files. All my scans appear in a .tiff file. I open the .tiff file and it takes about 30 seconds, at the same time, everything freezes and I have to remove the mouse from the usb port wireless. I'm currently running vista
I hope that by "striking" means you actually "Uninstall", as simply delete the files/folders of programs can cause all sorts of issues. Maybe, there is something in the software which has been deleted these files supported? Why does take so long to put up a picture of Lr to PS for editing? I use the command E. iMac i7, 32 GB memory, fast graphics card (my Mac is loaded!), 3 TB of storage, etc. etc. Is there a setting I can change to speed things up?
Please try and turn off the graphics processor in the Lightroom preferences
Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu
Click the performance tab
Deselect the graphics processor
Restart Lightroom and try to use it.

Why does take so long to download adobe reader when flash loads a lot faster?
It's much bigger.
I tried to fix this overnight, it takes so long to log, and this was not the case before I updated my Mac Book Air. I tried to reinstall but it doesn't work and I've had this problem since the upgrade.
It is a space to discuss the Windows version of Apple software update. I asked your thread to be moved.
It takes much longer time to access and loading websites, like from IE and navigation, since I changed my router wireless to a Linksys 54 g of Asus RT56U and added a D-Link DWA 131 wireless adapter to my Dell laptop running under Windwos XP. My controls show a sound intense and pretty good speed of the router. Speed average about 45 Mbps, but varies dramatically from 30 to 150 MB/s. Are there settings in IE, or my computer or router that will improve performance?
You can install the latest driver for D-Link DWA 131 wireless network card and see if it helps.
You can try to update the drivers automatically or contact D link to get the latest drivers:

am running windows xp; the calculation window is there forever; I do not know how to solve this problem and don't even know if it is broken.
If you mean the XP 'Disk cleanup' seems to weigh and take forever, I offer these tips:
When you run Disk Cleanup, it calculates how much space you could save on your HARD drive if you want to compress files "old." No one seems to have a good answer for what XP thinks is an old file... and with technology modern it isn't going to be a lot of improvement of your disk space and in fact, your system may operate more slowly, because it can need unzip these files when they are needed later.
It is simply not a good idea to let XP compress your files 'old' (any old way seems to be not specified).
If you have 1 million files on the volume XP thinking maybe brought to compress and it will check all, it might take a while to understand this and your system may appear to stop responding.
Sometimes users interpret this as a problem with their system (and stop or restart), but Windows is just doing what you said to do.
It can also can really be hung since MS also tells you how to stop this check for compression of files in an article in the knowledge base (perhaps they don't like it no more).
If you have no interest to compress old files or it is just too long, you can skip this calculation quite disk cleanup (a good idea).
You're going to be cleaning up your system in no time when this check for files that may need compression is removed.
Windows8... on the PIN screen, message says to check windows update and install new updates waiting. 1st thing just 'check updates' and continues for at least 3 hours now. Why so long? It is configured to allow automatic updates. Once a month? I would like to install updates, but it is always checked.
He certainly shouldn't take long. I reboot and try again, maybe the background process only got stuck.
If this continues, there is a built-in diagnostics that can probably get squared away. Here's how to make it work:
- On your start screen, tap the word "Troubleshooting" and when you see appear, choose Troubleshooting search result in the list.
- In the list that appears, under the section "System and security", you will see a link to find and fix problems with Windows Update with Windows Update troubleshooting tool.
Please let me know how it goes. If all goes well, just a reboot gets fixed or automatic troubleshooting utility.
My parents are on XP and have for years, it has had about 17 minutes for network connections to start when we turn on the computer - the wireless icon does not appear in the status bar before that date.
We cannot open up IE or Firefox, until connections have loaded.
I tried to disable all non-essential services and progs from startup in msconfig, no effect.
I used a fixed register program to correct the mistakes of reg. Also did chkdsk.
I uninstalled a ton of unused programs that might have hidden services (e.g. HP!).
Have installed and run internet security package again.
Interestingly, if I boot mode safe mode with networking, the icons don't still seems immediately (although I did; t wait 17 minutes!), but I can't use firefox to access the internet.
This is driving me crazy! Can anyone help?
· Did you also check if disable the antivirus software does the same thing?
Check if you have tried the following.
Method 1: Temporarily disable the antivirus on the computer program and check if the problem persists.
Note: Check that you activate your anti-virus protection on the computer back after you complete these steps. It is not recommended to disable these settings on the computer. It's just to solve the problem.
Method 2: You can check if this article helps.
I created a document that contains about 80 pages with any PDFs (drawings). There is not a problem when I am importing tham small pdf 1 MB. But some of them are larger (4-5Mb) and I am not able to change it. So to import the 'big' pdf takes more than 1 hour.
Are there some limitations as any file is concerned?
You have to be able to advice?
Something is not. The PDF is stored on your hard drive or a network? If on a network, try to copy on the hard disk. Also try to resave the PDF file in Acrobat.
I waited all day for this guy what gives? Waiting for correspondence, the procedure to do a multicamera editing without being absolutely perfect, colors, all these things, we expect. Please hurry

Why does take hours for the texts assigned iMessage?
While appearing more precisely this question is in fact not.
There could be hundreds of reasons why they seem to be delayed.
Some info on when they are sent, how do you know that they have been sent, if you compare it to another device would be useful.

Without real specifications-, I venture to say that the machine is old and slow, maybe not the latest hardware device drivers installed, could have some system problems that must be resolved, etc.
