  I actually found a way to work around the problem, and I'll it set out here for anyone who might have the problem.
  Open the menu at the top right and then at the bottom of the menu open customize.
  Once using customize, you can drag the icons that are clinging to the left of the back button and place it everywhere where you want. I'm sorry that I didn't try it before I get all upset and denounced.

  It might be a good idea to inform your customers what changes are made and the possible ways to help them get used to the new line up, so it's not just thrust upon us unawares. Microsoft and many others don't, "we have improved your experience" and doesn't give us any warning whatsoever.
