• Why should I get invited to back up the encryption keys

  Running Vista Ultimate today downloaded a program called "Win32 Image writer" in order to write an ISO on a USB key file.

  I was unable to "just run the utility" as stated in the note "readme", just kept flashing to a BACK window when you try to run it.

  Tried to remove the program, but was told repeatedly that it was in use.

  Since that time I keep getting warnings of dire consequences if I don't support up to my encryption key.

  Restarted my PC and then managed to 'Remove the shift' all partners/records, some of whom are green in the Explorer tree.

  I've learned since that denotes encrypted files!

  I never asked to be encrypted, and now they are gone I always tells me to save these keys.

  I see that I have no other files encrypted on my machine.

  Can someone help me get rid of this warning, or tell me how to check if my machine has all of the encrypted files?

  This is the point, I have never actively sought encryption of one of my files.

  Encrypted files, I saw in the Explorer (shown in green) have been created by a program called "Win32 Image writer", which I had downloaded in order to write a file ISO of Linux on a USB.

  Immediately this program has been installed these encrypted files appeared and started to the harassing!

  I have no idea why the program should act with such stealth, I suspect it was something bad!

  I was totally unable to launch the application and decided to remove it, but it has not been listed as being installed in Progs & features and since there is no "Uninstall" file, I was reduced to "Move/remove" program folder and subfolders encrypted.

  After the second reboot, I had no other please "backup encryption keys", and I see there is no other "green" article in the Explorer tree.

  I am pretty sure that I eradicated the problem, unless there is a way I can force the system to show me if there are other encrypted items.

  In Windows 8 there is a long enough period for the launch of the programs in the startup folder or in the register as startup items. Why is this? And how can I remove or reduce the delay?   What actually happened is that there is, as the OP stated, before advisement in Windows 8 delay as all the start-up programs are executed.

  It can be flown in the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Serialize\Startupdelayinmsec in the registry (including the set to 0, then the programs are executed immediately).

  It is the response that should come from Microsoft. Everything else is a rubbish - model answers that everyone make Microsoft look green, as if they a) don't know their own product and b) don't care even clients who need assistance.

  The Bing team should also be ashamed of this site as their best result. Google does not work.

  The purpose of inviting a friend is someone to experience lab and then invite a friend to share this experience. In order to take a lab, you must be registered. Therefore, it logically follows that you must be registered in order to invite a friend to share the experience.

  I can imagine a situation, however, in which an admin of vSphere could see the lab NSX is available, for example and want access to its network admin to take this laboratory. Maybe it's an interesting development of the feature. Thanks for the comments.

• El Capitan Upgrade - cannot verify the password for the Exchange e-mail account

  My email accounts all worked very well until I installed at El Capitan. Since the upgrade yesterday, I can't access any of my email on the mail accounts. It is one of my Exchange accounts and invites me to check the password and then fails to check. I looked everywhere to try to understand why it won't work but am running out of ideas. I have another exchange account which seems to work very well. I checked all the settings and don't see anything wrong anywhere. Can someone help please I need access to this account (OH and it works fine on my iPhone)

  Delete the Exchange account, and then add it again. It is possible that you will need to do additional work to fix, but this easy option first.

  BB10 suports push but only if the e-mail service provider allows. GoDaddy does not have push email POP or IMAP. GoDaddy has helped push only for its exchange e-mail servers.

  Some configurations of GMail use push-IMAP/pseudo and can thus have (nearly) instant delivery. OWA is I think strictly traction, which is regulated at 15 minute intervals within BIS. Therefore, it may seem to be WAD - works as expected.

• Keithley scan 2000 delay time

  I'm updating some legacy in Labview code that was written for a Scan Keithley 2000 DMM with 10 Channel relay card.  Right, the code now contains a delay between selection of a channel of meter and read the data.  The time is 1 second.

  I could not find any supporting documentation why this delay must be put in place.  It's just for debouncing?  If Yes, does anyone have any experience which suggests could be shorter?

  The time depends on your system. For debouncing 20 ms is more appropriate.

  But you can try. Build scans between max, min and weak signals and see how fast the system gives the right answer.

  Another reason for delay is the automatic selection of the DMM, sometimes that takes some time and also the load on your system should stabilize.

• VCAP-DCA4 delay results...

  I gave my VCAP-DCA4 review September 27, 2012. It is mentioned in the review that i should wait 10 business days get my results and I thought it was old news and searched in VMware site and includes now the waiting time is 15 working days now.

  It is now almost 18 days completed from the date of my review as of today. I contacted [email protected] to get the status of my results,. Got an answer, that the results are pending and the outcome of your review should be available in the next 2 weeks. I don't know why this delay happens. Thus, a company known as VMWare should follow their dates in the form strict as much as possible or at least they should update their websites with the actual waiting time for results the VCAP-DCA. As I am dieheart fan of VMware, it creates negative effects and also makes me lose interest on my way to certifications in VMware.

  2A irrespictive a few times the numbers or vendor a few outings are not created immeditly
  3 but after next MRP run, they are available in the system.

• Delayed text captions appear does not (except in Preview "Play this slide")

  Can someone explain why my delayed text captions appear not in any fashion, BUT preview/Play this slide. When I do this type of preview, text captions appear exactly when I put (from 27 s - and are set to display for the 'rest of slide').

  There are eight legends delayed and none of them are as I saw the draft, this slide, or publish.

  The visible indicator is activated, time is 'rest of slide' appear after 27 s, the effect is not relevant and is not a matter of layers.

• Performance of guest operating system

  I'm looking for some advice/direction on why memory has notably invited VM is Exchange and ballooning.

  The client running Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition x 64 SP2.  The application on the server is SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 3 installed.  The client is configured with 2 vCPU 8 GB of RAM.  The host on which it will run is a Dell PE 2950 with 64 GB of RAM.  Looking at the Task Manager/Perfmon in the prompt looks nothing out of the ordinary other then the fact that there is some ongoing pagination.  SQL Server does not seem to have more, so it's fair share, least not 8 GB to a value.  When I look at use of page file is 7,29 GB and is down to about 300 MB of RAM on the 8 GB physical memory.

  Here's esxtop looks on the host computer with the comments in question, framed in red vm.

  If I migrate the guest to another host in the same cluster ballooning and swapping go way during the migration, but return immediately on the new host.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the VMWare tools on the guest.

  Any advice or help that someone can provide would be appreciated.

  Is there a memory limit on virtual machine?  That it would follow if you move from one host to another.
