Why Firefox closed (when the active window) when I click on firefox on windows taskbar icon.

If I have several windows open - and click the icon of firefox/tab bar tasks (when it is the active window) - firefox closes. He started this habit 2 days ago.

Try running Firefox in safe mode.

  • Firefox-> help-> restart with disabled modules

  • Firefox is no longer new window when I drag the contents of the active window outside the browser.

After just upgrading to Firefox 9 of Firefox 3.6, I noticed that a certain element is missing. In the old version, I could drag the contents of the tab out of the browser or the active window and it would automatically force this content in its own window again. I found this feature extremely useful, and I can do it no longer. That's happened? There just is no longer supported or is this a bug? If it is not supported, how can I reopen the current window/tab in a window again like before?

  • Stop acrobat from becomes the active window during the scan

    Hi all

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times, but I couldn't find the answer. When you scan a document, Acrobat becomes the active window after each page is scanned.

When you scan large documents, I am unable to do any other job. Is there a way to avoid this?

    Best regards

Yes, Douglas, with Acrobat DC, this problem does not occur when using it on a Mac platform.

    CS5.5 Design Premium (educational license)

Lenovo Thinkpad T410 (a very nice laptop)

I had to factory reset my laptop recently and since the relocation that I couldn't run the photoshop.

I can open a file and it loads fine, but the area of the active window remains empty. I know that the loaded file, because all job functions, I can always manipulate the image (in case of emergency I blindly resized and adjusted the resolution of an image). And when I take a tab to move around, the ghost shows the full image, but it disappears again when I release the tab.

I already tried to uninstall and reinstall, that has not changed anything. And before that I wiped my computer it worked fine.

  • The mouse only works in the active window and cannot select drop-down menus (W7)

    Hello

I can't understand what is the cause. I can only select things in the active window with my mouse, I can't move the window, I can't click on anything whatsoever outside of it.

ATM by writing this, I can not open another program or select the bar of tasks or do anything outside that window. (unless I use CTRL-ALT-DEL and force to select a new active window with my keyboard)

Another thing is that everything works within the window, except one thing, menus drop down, I can bring up the menu drop-down but can not select anything on the menu.

I reinstalled windows to do this same thing. I can't understand why windows doesn't let me choose some things outside my main window, it's that I'm sort of protected mode.

    Thanks for any help

    Hello

    -What is laptop or desktop?
-What is the brand and model of the mouse? Is it wired or wireless mouse?
-Have you tried plugging the mouse on another computer?

Method 1: I would also say you update the drivers for the mouse on the computer and check if it helps.
Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

Method 2: Also, I suggest you use Microsoft Safety scanner to make sure that your computer is free from malware and check if it helps.
    Microsoft safety scanner

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. The Microsoft Safety Scanner is not a replacement for the use of antivirus software that offers continuous protection. For a real-time protection that helps you keep your home or small office PC against viruses, spyware and other malicious software, download Microsoft Security Essentials.
Method 3: I suggest you try to check with the other mice to make sure that the problem is not with the computer.

If it is a laptop, I suggest you to check if a FN key function is to to do this. As you are facing the issue after reinstalling the operating system, I also suggest you check with the manufacturer of the computer, if there is this key.

  • How can I copy and print only the active window in Vista?

(I tried many combinations of keys without success.)

@Jetta48 you just need to press print screen, ALT is not necessary.

Sorry, but this is false. Jetta48 is correct. Press PrtScrn copy screen entires. You must press Alt-PrtScrn to get the active window.

Using the snipper tool worked perfectly for me using IE9

  • How can I change the color of the background of the active window in Windows 8 (and the text format/color window)?

In all versions of windows, we could change the color of the active windows (not just the border, but the color of real background in windows as well as the font type and color).  How can I do this in Windows 8?  The option does not appear in the Customization screen.

Found the fix. Right-click on the desktop and choose "Customize".  Under my themes, choose the high contrast theme (select all). Once this is done, under the themes is a box that will say 'color' "high contrast". Go in there, and you can now customize Windows background, text, hyperlinks, text disabled, Selected text, window pane, Inactive window tile and button. AKA, I have no need to watch a white background in my active windows, which is nice!

  • Error in the active window

    Hello

I have a question about the active window in Adobe Muse. In a group of 'virtual' image, in this case called porfolio20.jpg (see screenshot), there are several images/thumbnails with a normal status. However, for the group itself, I get a warning (red circle on the screenshot). Can I just ignore this warning, because the images themselves don't cause any problems?

    Screen Shot 2016-09-27 at 11.11.59.jpg

Mouse over the icon to see what the error is... the most common is that the asset has been upsized and this error can be ignored because it is caused by sloppy coding

  • Bar of the active window, the missing or hidden menu bar

Today after opening a PDF file, my bar of the window active (top) and the Acrobat menu bar would not display. It is Acrobat 9.5.5. Instead of giving me the normal bar of the active window and the menu bar, it would give a gray buttons Acrobat menu. Whenever I have it back to normal via F9, just not like this. It's extremely frustrating. I can't find any setting in preference to the difficulty of this return to normal for good. Help, please. Thank you.

  • I have a Setup dual monitor.  When I paste develop settings from one image to the other, Lightroom going on the active window.

Strange problem.  5.5 Lightroom.  Windows 8.1. Setting up dual monitor.

I am processing a lot important photos.  I have #1 monitor set as my main to develop the window with #2 monitor configured only to display a larger version of the image, I work with. If I copy the parameters of development out of a picture and try to paste them on another image, Lightroom will increase from the #1 to the monitor #2 monitor in the main window to develop and does not display anything on the monitor #1.

If I then try to paste develop settings on another image on the monitor #2, LR then displays a larger version of the image, I have been working with the #1 monitor.

To work like I want to, I have to constantly drag my develop the window back to the #1 monitor whenever I try to paste the settings on a new image of development. How can I make this stop?

I have similar (but different) problems dual monitor. Just posted this on my thread unanswered. It may be useful:

Blessed excrement! After frustrating months of bi-ecrans LR questions and a month of waiting for an answer on this forum, I called Adobe technical support. Only five minutes before dialing, I had updated my PhotoShop CC application. When the useful Adobe tech classmate is online, I can't reproduce all the issues that had been plaguing me. It is a stretch... a biiiiig stretch... but he is feels/figure/seems that PhotoShop CC update has fixed my bi-ecrans LR problems! I'll keep track of what other programs I use and open while LR - ing to see if they are relaxing, but for now, everything is quite in front of two monitors.

  • Why locate browser when you click on the link in the email in Outlook?

I wonder what is happening and how I can stop that. Sometimes on my Windows XP Tablet that has been recently reinanstalled. This doesn't always happen. Sometimes, if there is a URL link in an e-mail message in my Outlook Inbox, when I clicked a box appears to want me to identify my browser. Come on! How and why is it supposed to be forgetting what I have always used a my browser? I have no other browser on this pc.
