Why firefox doesn't go very large print even after that I customized to print smaller.
I downloaded Firefox and the screen is very large fonts and the screen is big too.
Check that you are not running Firefox in compatibility, or with a reduced screen resolution mode.
You can open the properties of the desktop Firefox shortcut via the context menu and check under the tab "compatibility".
Make sure that all items are disabled in the tab "Compatibility" in the Properties window.
Try to assign layout.css.devPixelsPerPx 1.0 (default is - 1) on the topic: config page.
If necessary adjust the value by 0.1 or 0.05 (1.1 or 0.9) until icons or text looks right.
You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.
You can watch the Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint extension to define a page zoom and the size of the default font on the web pages.
- Default FullZoom Level: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/
- NoSquint: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/nosquint/

Hello Tom, can you try to remove the addon of passwords do not forget (it is now more necessary, since firefox now ignore the autocomplete = off parameter in the default password fields), restart the browser and see if that makes a difference?

Why Firefox do not connect to Web sites more after that I made a connection with OpenVPN?
IE has the same problem. UTorrent still working after I connect with OpenVPN.
I am running XP Professional SP 3.During the OpenVPN connection I ping google.com. It does not work. When I ping the IP (instead of name) from google.com I get respons.
By the time I disconnect my connection OpenVPN Firefox work again as usual
This is a guess, but: do your TCP/IP in Windows settings specify a particular DNS server? If so, you may need to clear that if DNS servers can be defined by the proxy service.

Why Outlook edit text in e-mails to a VERY large print?
In our business, we have at least five computers running Outlook Express (my soft Office 2010) with the following problem:
Customers are often receive e-mails with text in very large print - hard to read and not a professional look for us.I don't know how your network is set up, and I don't use of moy. I found this through Google well.
From: http://free.avg.com/ww-en/faq.num-3031#tba2
The AVG E-mail Scanner can affect your sending/receiving e-mail, since it is designed to analyze the messages and needs to access somehow. The access method messages depends on your e-mail client, but that the personal email of Scanner plugin can interfere with communication between your computer and the e-mail server.
To disable the personal E-mail Scanner (if it is installed), please:Please activate the servers that have been enabled originally again when possible.
And from here: http://www.vcn.com/knowledgebase/article.php?id=436
1. exit all programs are running email.
2. start the AVG Control Center. To do this, click the small square red, black, yellow and green to the bottom of the clock in the taskbar, in the lower right of your screen.
3. click on the big button Email Scanner (found on the right side of the Control Center window). Select 'Properties' from the bottom panel in the control center.
4. a window should open with a plug-in tab at the top. Click on "disable plugin" in the Plug-ins tab.
5. click the "Configure" button and uncheck all 5 options (scan incoming messages, scan outgoing messages, use the heuristic method, scan in archives, scan attachments).
6. click on OK and then OK again.
7. close the control center. Open your e-mail program, and then try again.****************************************************
If the problem persists, it may well be the sender of outgoing messages scanning, but if this happens for every sender, which is unlikely.

Hello
I cannot install extensions, they appear with "will be installed after you restart Firefox" even after that I restarted.
The 'Intermediary' folder is present and rest after a restart, but the extensions do not get installed. They show in the extensions page with the message "will be installed after you restart Firefox" and remain like that, no matter how many times I restart.
Any idea?
Under Firefox 24.0 Windows 8.1
Thank you very much
BDP.S. Just tried to install the add-on "convenience store" before asking the question and I got an error saying that it cannot install because it cannot change the necessary file. (I did manually instead)
I tried to delete the files extensions.* nothing works. However, I deleted the addons.sqlite file and restarted my computer (computer not only Firefox) and that seemed to do the trick. Problem solved.
Thank you for your help, it is appreciated.

Why Firefox doesn't load the JCPenney update web page?
I just spent an hour on the phone with JCPenney, and then we are cut off. The gal is telling me where things are running on their new website, and I'm telling him that no such thing appears on my page.
After that, we got cut, I opened Google Chrome just for the heck of it and used my LastPass to open a session for JCPenney. LO & this IS! All these things the gal was trying to tell me about the page - are actually on the page.
Now why Google Chrome will load the new site of JCPenney as Firefox continues to load the old site?
Thanks a bunch! It worked.

Hello, I have a question - why firefox doesn't sync tabs group on my devices?
Sorry, my English is not good, but this issue is so important, and I decided to write about it.
In my settings, in the "Synchronization" section I did not the checkbox that can make me synchronize my group tabs. It's so bad, because I have more groups in firefox on my laptop, but I can't use in my firefox on my work.
I really hope that you will set. Thank you.
Group Synchronization tab is not yet supported but the developers continue to add new features that can be synchronized (Firefox 11 will support the Sync module), so keep and eye on it.

Hi members of the community.
first of all, my setup:
modem - router (wrt320n lynksis, yesterday I uplodaded latest firmware - it does not help)---(par câble), PC (windows 8)llvarious devices (cable TV, wireless: laptop computer (windows XP), phones (Iphone, android, phone etc.))Second question:Until now, I had no problem with router, but as I connected the new PC, with windows 8 is installed, the router, I began to encounter the following problem: I turn the host computer (wired, PC with windows 8) off after a minute or two the router (if not always on) continues to transmit the internet signal with other devices (wired (TV) and other wireless). What's also interesting is that, when I unplug the PC from the router ethernet cable (when the PC is turned off), the router begins to function normally. Why and how to fix it? It seems that the PC would stop the router in the transmission of the signal.I would apreciate any help I could get. Because the router is working otherwise fine (when the computer host is turned on when the PC is disconnected from the it), I guess it has something to do with the windows configuration.Thank you all,.Sincerelly, JanezHi there... we have a different router, but I had exactly the thing happens to me when my husband bought his new computer. After hours of technical support that gave no results of our router manufacturer, I did some research on the web, a vast and I think I found the solution.
Go to control panel > system and security > system > Device Manager > network adapters > find your network card (mine says in time real PCIe GBE) open cela, go to power management and uncheck the BOX allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
After that I did that my router is no longer turns off/goes to sleep when my computer is. Offshore.
Give that a try, and if all goes well, it will help you too.

Why Firefox doesn't open the printer dialog box whenever it starts
When Firefox opens the printer dialog box opens automatically - why and how can I make sure that he does this.
This never used to happen on previous versions of firefoxSome web pages automatically shows the print dialog box. In particular, the pages Web sites have specially formatted for printing can do.
Restore you tabs that you have opened previously, or commissioning with your home page (s)? I suspect that one of them generates the dialog box. You can view by clicking on each of them and reload the page to see if it's on this page.

It is very safe NOT having the option for Firefox NOT saving passwords. I am aware very secure and that you don't want my saved passwords. Please consider providing this future option updates to Firefox? Thank you.
The memory (ever) choice of password appears if you get the key icon in the location bar to store a name and a password when you visit a Web site with a log-shaped and you try to connect.
- Press the F10 key or press the Alt key to bring up the 'Menu Bar' temporarily if the menu bar is hidden.
- Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "tools > Options" If the menu bar is hidden.
- Tools > Options > Security: passwords: [] "Remember passwords for sites".

Why firefox doesn't answer after that I submit my crash report?
When I open Mozilla, Mozilla's Crash report screen comes up. After I sent the report, another Mozilla Crash report screen appears asking to send another report. I have dk what crash ID is. When I go to the summary report, it is incredibly long.
User Agent
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322 .NET CLR 2.0.50727;. PC Media Center 4.0; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729;. yie8)
Hmm, this is her nasty. We will see if we cannot solve it.
I would need a few details to help better, if the solutions below does not work. I need to know what options are selected in the reporter on the accident, and one of the crushing of the reports will also be very useful - don't you worry that it's long, useful data on why this happens can probably be found somewhere in there. See the Mozilla Crash Reporter article on how to find reports, "Reports outside Firefox display" section points to where you can find the reports.
But first, lets see if we can not get Firefox started without crashing - here is a link explaining how to start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode. Make sure that no instance of Firefox is running before you start Firefox Safe Mode - you can check this by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete to bring up the Task Manager, and under processes tab verify that there are no firefox.exe in the list. If there is, highlight it with the mouse and kill the process. Then start Firefox in Mode safe of Firefox as explained in this article.
For a first try, just to click on the button 'Continue in Mode safe' and see if Firefox starts.
If this brings Firefox to life, it is probably an extension, a theme (or a combination) causing accidents. Close Firefox and restart in Safe Mode and this time mark "Disable all add-ons" and click the make changes and restart"" button. This will disable all add-ons (extensions, themes and plugins) and restart Firefox in normal mode. If it starts, you can start allowing your modules one by one to find the cause of the accident.
When you have found the culprit add-on, you can again start Mode without failure of Firefox and disable all add-ons and then start Firefox in normal mode, uninstall the fisherman and reactivate all your other addons. Please post back here on the problematic add-on information (and all the details, you can find about it), so it can be studied further.
Let me know how the above work, and if I can be of further assistance. Detailed feedback is appreciated and helps us help more users with similar problems.

Every now and then, Firefox will have created zillions of directories and the files cached in the directory for a Firefox profile. The directories are called 0 (zero) and F (using the hexagonal as numbers names, i.e.g), and within each of them will be more directories (with two names of hexadecimal digit). The last time this happened (2 weeks ago), these directories ate ALL my free space on the hard drive (about 46 GB of a value).
Why does this happen? Can I stop it from happening? If so, how?
Thank you.
Yes, it should be easy reset.
It can be put in
- Options-> | Advanced | --> | Network | -> Web content caching
Management of auto-cache to replace] - See #w cached web-contentweb-content-_cached
Probably your auto adjustment has been replaced and the box should uncheck.
I know that Firefox split cache up like this IIRC it allows faster cache and solves fragmentation issues.
46GB which seems a surprising amount and cannot be good if he eats all the hard disk space. I also know that the file places.sqlite is a variable size, but it is based on the system in use.
The regular HTTP cache is also defined without doubt intelligently, but can be replaced by the user
This has some background info- https://developer.Mozilla.org/en-us/docs/HTTP_Caching_FAQ

My own settings seen in everything: support are
browser.cache.disk.capacity 358400 browser.cache.disk.smart_size_cached_value 266240 browser.cache.disk.smart_size.first_run false
My use of the cache is limited to about 350 MB
