  Before you answer that, I ALREADY deleted the Yahoo option toolbar already in TOOLS > OPTIONS > SEARCH box. In both upper search bar, I removed all evidence of Yahoo. Is not on this part. This is the new page/new tab coming with my 'top sites' mosaic. He changed a few days ago and I don't know why. I don't think THAT I have updated to any software, but if I did, it would have been Adobe Flash or Adobe Acrobat/Reader. When the search bar appears on the tiles, now it is YAHOO. In fact, I had an another "fix"... my computer crashed, so I had to get a new hard drive, etc. What I've been able to find out, however, even if all the settings that you have in your answer were what I had been doing before I posted, I discovered that a program to rip the DVD I bought recently had all these toolbars wicked as automatic installation with the express install option. I found those today and not controlled before screwing the system. It's a real shame when people stir this crap in the paid software programs and make sure you can not escape or uninstall them.

Teh, I checked in the application window and the fouund as I have two app for Whats new with size 9.52 MB and MB 13,28. In 9.52 MB size app has option to uninstall updates and 13,28 MB a option disable only. So it seems like an update of the previous which is the new application. But I wonder why I have two icons in the Menu which is confused. Cannot install sony people to update the previous app withouting new or the previous unintastall and install a new one.

  Thank you for the information. Since it appeared after a software update, I suggest you reinstall the latest version of the software via PC Companion to see if it helps.

  In PC Companion, you press start on the support Zone > begin on updating the software of the phone/Tablet > repair phone/Tablet (the blue clickable link in the message) > proceed without going through your device connected to the computer.

  Follow the instructions that appear in the program and do not connect your device to this guide explains how to connect.

  Regarding the problem of searching, you can check the extension "Disconnect"? I think it could affect the Google sites and third parties who use Google. You can disable or try its button Options here:

  Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

  While you're there, you can disable all extensions essential and unrecognized. When in doubt, turn off.

  This preference can be changed by typing about: config

  (1) type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter (click the button promising to be careful and please be careful!)

  (2) in the filter box, type or paste the Search and pause until the preferences are filtered

  (3) double-click browser.search.openintab to change for real. You're done, you can close all: config now.
