  Via the official methods on the device (which is what I'm guessing that you have agreed), it is not supposed to erase your data. But nothing is impossible... where the importance of backups that is initiated by the user, in order to protect their valuable data. Based on what you say, unless you did some other backup before this happened, then your data are now gone and you have learned a valuable lesson (if painful) - there are two kinds of computer users, those who have lost data and those who will be. Backups, like insurance, are not a reagent or an optional activity.

  Yeap this is possible.

  Connect your device with BlackBerry desktop manager. Go to the black and restore-> Advanced-> on the right Board, you will see all the databases of device. Select Address Book - All and click clear.

  Backups may be your best option.  There are people hell-bent on "safeguards" so.  I think you know what it is now.

  Look in the Recycle Bin - always there?  Restore them.

  Not in the trash?  May be able to use somehting like "Recuva" to recover things.

  In regard to applications in the Apple stores, I don't know... but if you go to the App store on your ATV 4 you can browse the best apps etc...
