Assuming the photo library you meant the images library, like the one on the little box in the file Explorer, users, go to start, computer, drive C, and right-click on my pictures, and then select Properties. If this was not the 'official' picture library, go to the folder view these photos and go to properties it there instead.

  Now on the shortcut menu, click previous versions, wait list to fill out, when it does, click one of the folders that was before the photos have disappeared and select restore.
