Why host program accesses DNS server

I used the communication wizard to generate the TCL, NPL and HOST part. I'm behind a VPN router that I can disconnect from the outside world. The RT and the HOST system are connected to the VPN. I can start the RT part (TCL &)
NPL) host through the interface Project RT. But, when I try to start the part host and internet is busy, I have a second 6-8 downtime (a break from any activity on the host computer). The loop of the HOST is a one shot which goes on in an another VI. So the possibility of a break gets greater. The break is always there if I disconnect the VPN from the outside world. Error message "Waiting for motor RT to respond ', which will expire after 6 to 8 seconds and displayed data. On one of the forums, said that host go to 192.168.1.1 and 127.0.0.1 by using the DNS lookup. Why is there a DNS lookup?
Passing the address of the VPN gateway is 192.168.1.1. The glass by pulling the process cannot afford 6-8 second delay. Is there a solution? Attached file cannot be completed.

Thanks for your help.

"I think the DNS lookup occurs because the Phar Lap ETS OS on the PC in real time like to reverse things search DNS that communicate with him."
You say that your IP addresses are fixed/static.  Have you tried filling 0.0.0.0 for the RT target?  You can do this in MAX under remote systems, as seen in the attachment.

If you use the TCP screws, you can force the operating system not to solve the remote addresses, as shown here:

http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/011F5615859F5694862572580080C501?OpenDocument ".

I put the DNS and gateway on the RT to 0.0.0.0 and most (99%) to hang it to the top has disappeared. even with ethernet to the outside world disconnected. The host has still some crash (ie. something tries to access the Ethernet (call)). What I still have to study.

Thanks for your help

  • Why static DNS server address round get the unable to download updates 8024402C problem in WIN7?

I got a work around for the unable to download problem error 8024402C updated on a new laptop WIN7 Starter running.  I get regarding the size of the update and starts to download, but nothing comes down.  The solution is to change the DNS settings of default for a manually configured DNS server, for example 4.2.2.2.  It works, but I wonder why, and what is he moving?

The auto setting worked when I was in the United States connecting via a LAN in the hotel but not here at home in AUS, where the settings auto search for an address DNS 192.168.1.1, my router ADSL/2.  All other functions like Skype, Adobe updated, download of MS shop, all work very well using 192.168.1.1.  Also my XP Home PC, all use 192.168.1.1 and they get the updates without any problem.

-What is someone able to explain why?

    Thank you

    Hi ascidiens,

The 0x8024402C error codes typically occur because there is an incorrect character in substitution of proxy settings. Basically, it's something to do with the proxy of your connection settings network and which can be overcome by changing the DNS settings in manual.

Bad adjustment System (DNS) domain name of your network connection may also cause this error. Update Windows servers are accessible through DNS servers configured for Internet access. If a local DNS server has changed for some reason, the Windows Update client isn't able to find and connect to the Windows Update server.

I would like to know if refer to a Microsoft article to work around this problem by changing the settings default for a manually configured DNS server DNS (Domain Name System).

I would say to you to follow the steps mentioned in the link below for the complete solution of the problem

  • Unable to connect to the main DNS server when you try to access the internet

Computer has worked fine for the year last until 2 weeks ago and now unable to connect to the internet.

Windows Vista on broadband and services connected directly to the modem by ethernet.  Provider Internet has run tests and confirmed modem is fine and it's like my laptop runs very well on it.

Re-initialization of the modem, internet works and you can type in a few places and it seems OK, but you can't do anything on a site, it is, enter the details and even if you try and enter anything, you can usually view 2 sites and then it goes again.  However, the network icon shows that on and connected to the internet.

The diagnosis, it is said that he cannot access the primary DNS server.

Do you have any idea how I can fix this or should I just completely re - install windows from the original disk set?

A few things you can try...  [This will be the Windows to try to automatically fix your connection]

Open 'Network and sharing Center' (you can search for it in the Vista Start menu)

Under tasks, click on "diagnose and repair".

If this fails, you can try...  [This will use the NETSHell utility to RESET your network interface (removes all static configurations and sets DHCP)]

Open a command prompt (you can also search for it on the start menu in Vista, if you have this OPTION enabled, you need to start as administrator)
The type of command line: NETSH INTERFACE IP RESET. JOURNAL

If you still have problems, try to post your IPCONFIG/all, file HOSTS and ROUTE PRINT on this forum.

    How to:

    IPCONFIG/ALL
Open the command prompt and type: IPCONFIG/all
To save the output to a file simply type at the command prompt: IPCONFIG/all > filename.txt

Your HOSTS file is located in the following path (the HOSTS file does not have an extension, it is simply named "HOSTS"):
    %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS
    or
    C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\ETC\HOSTS

    ROUTE PRINT
Open the command prompt and type: ROUTE PRINT
To save the output to a file simply type at the command prompt: ROUTE PRINT > filename.txt

PS: If it becomes really hairy, you can provide NETSH DUMP (this provides virtually all network configurations)... You certainly shouldn't need to re - install Windows.  There is probably a setting of network configuration problem that causes this problem.  Good luck!

  • "No access to the network" problem in Windows 7 and error message "your computer seems to be correctly configured but the device or resource (DNS SERVER) is not responding."

Hello, I have a desktop PC and a laptop (DELL Inspiron N-4050).
I have problem with my internet connection cable which is working fine on my PC, but does not not on my laptop giving an error "no access to the network.

When I troubleshoot it says "your computer seems to be correctly configured but the device or resource (DNS SERVER) is not responding."
I said to many technicians of microsoft online response, but they could not solve my problem and said this is my DNS problem and advised me to contact my Internet service provider. Guess it's because of my internet so why it works on my PC not on laptop?

Yesterday, my ethernet cable pulled out my cell phone and I couldn't connect to the internet more. But on my desktop PC, it works perfectly fine. (I do not use wifi, if this information is also required) I have studied several threads with similar situations, and I have tried different methods to solve the problem to no avail. I did a system restore, but I'm having no luck. Also, I did not of the latest changes with my anti virus software and my LAN card drivers look to date.

When I remove my cable from the laptop and again connect my cable then it works but only after the PC sat for awhile.
1.I did flush DNS by typing "ipconfig/flushdns" in the command prompt.
    2. my IP address, DNS, subnet mask etc are set to automatic.
3.I also added physical address taken from command line giving "ipconfig/all". for the properties of the network driver settings.
4.I ' installed the drivers to date of 2014 on my laptop.
5.I did a lot of searching the web, but they do not solve my problem.

Please help me to solve it.
    I appreciate your help.
    Thank you.

I want the client to connect to the dns server so that it can be easy to manage and add security measures. Can any expert server help me with that.

  • Why is the recommendation "Do not set a public DNS server in TCP/IP from DC settings."

    Read best practices for DNS on DC and domain member client settings suggests that you should;

    • Contact your ISP and get the DNS IPs validates them and he adds forwarders, do not set a public DNS server in the TCP/IP from DC parameters

I just wanted to ask why this was the case, is it a security issue?

  • How to prohibit remote access vpn client to use the local DNS server

    Hello

I'm on ASA5505 remote access vpn configuration.

Everything works fine so far, except when the client got connected, he always used the local DNS server provided by the ISP.  How can I force the customer to use the DNS server configured on ASA?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

The command "Activate dns split-tunnel-all" is supported only on SSL VPN and VPN IKEv2. Since you're using IKEv1, this command is not supported.

    Here's the order reference:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/security/ASA/asa82/command/reference/S8.html#wp1533793

You configure no split tunnel? If you are, then you need to configure "tunnelall" split tunnel policy, and that will force the dns resolution and everything else through the VPN tunnel.

    Geoarge,

iSCSI traffic uses a VMkernel port, instead of using the command 'ping', use 'vmkping '.

  • Changing the DNS server for ESX hosts?

Our network administrator will change the IP address of the DNS server.  In this way, we will change those corresponding to ESX hosts.

    We would like to know

    (1) can we change the DNS server on execution of the ESX hosts without going into maintenance mode?

    (2) under what circumstances the ESX host will do use DNS servers?

    (3) memory, we should add all the IP addresses of ESX host in the hosts file in the Service Console, where is this hosts file located at?

    Thank you

    Tony,

Use "service network restart" command to restart the network service

    Do not forget also that...

Very dependent on DNS HA, HA will not work without the correct DNS configuration. The servers ESX and vCenter server must be able to resolve the name (FQDN full) / IPs in both feel to get a working HA.

  • Why our local DNS server, discount Internet user if the user insert new internet address?

We have a local DNS server that has a strange problem. If a user insert new internet address DNS will cut this internet user. So every time that the user want to insert the new internet address that he must fix his connection and then refresh the browser to display the page.

    Hi Saman,
first things first... more information is needed to correctly diagnose your problem.
When you post a question please include at least the system operation, error message, and what happens when the issue appears.

  • Why the Windows Vista client gets the IP address of the Windows SBS 2011 as default DNS server?

I use Windows Vista on a client computer that is connected to our Windows Server SBS 2011 server. I don't want to use the DNS server on the local server and the DNS addresses are automatically collected on our router. Every time I have to restart my computer or disconnect / reconnect the connection to the local network, the default DNS server address is set back to static and has the IP address of the local server, which makes it much slower DNS specifications.

Can I disable this automatic update of address of DNS server somehow? In fact, I don't want to run a DNS server on the local server.

Thank you to inform in advance!

  • Error: "DNS server not found" when you try to access the internet.

original title: network WIFI DNS connection issues

    Hi all

This is my weirdest experience with WIFI connections so far. So let me explain.
I have several WIFI connection to my modem/router that work very well, 2 phones and 2 laptops work just great, wirelessly.
Now I have this new ASUS wireless adapter to my PC and it gives me a headache, and the ASUS support... Well, what kind of support?
When I turn on my pc, my pc connects to the router with full connection bars. But there is no internet, I'm getting DNS SERVER NOT FOUND, this happens every time when starting of the pc. But when my pc has already started and then I reset the router, I get internet with good working DNS and then everything works. But of course, when then restart my pc again, it loses DNS and I can restart the router once more...
I have tried everything I know, manual setting of DNS does not work, renewing the ip and dns cmd of hot flashes do not work either.
    My setup
    ------
    Windows 7 Professional x 64
    ASUS PCE - N15 11n Wireless card
    DHCP enabled
Dns and ip automatic (ip4/ip6) parameters
    ------
I really hope that you guys can help me, it drives me crazy and the problem continues to exist for a month now.

    Hello Serellyn,

Have you tried to change the wireless channel that your router is running at? There may be interference that could prevent the internet connection:

Take a look at step 6 in this article. He further explains this problem as possible:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/athome/Setup/wirelesstips.aspx

If you need assistance to change the settings of the specific router, you will need to contact your router manufacturer or your internet service provider.

  • Cannot access the Wi - Fi connection with the error: "DNS server is not responding" on Windows 7

So, recently, I installed a new router. After restarting my modem as indicated in after connecting the router to the modem, I was surprised to see that the wireless network has been renamed to (name) 2. I continued with the installation and soon found that it happened too much to the network from the router, and none of them does not seem to work. They tell me that the DNS server is not responding. for the last ive tried day every last problem I can be downloaded on the internet and nothing seems to work. pls help

Original title: renamed networks and will not work

Check if your modem has a built-in router.  If so, it should be disabled until your router works.  If this is a new router, contact the manufacturer of the router.  They will help you.

It is not likely a problem on your computer.

  • Why does Firefox Mac returns 'Server not found' for a website but Safari on Mac same load site without any problems?

The financial company Web site www.gmo.com will not appear in Firefox 32.0.02. Server not found is the only result. Safari loads Web site without any problem and Firefox for Windows computer in the House support the site without problem. All the other sites I have access, including banks, Amazon, etc. loads normally.

What/why the Mac of Firefox version would not be able to to connect/load this site?

The company of people told me that no one else has reported this problem and other people in my company can access the site. And they cannot reproduce the problem.

My ISP provider could not see anything from their point of view. And access all computers to the modem/router in the House everything without any problems.

Anyone have any ideas on what would cause this or how to go about troubleshooting?

    Thank you for your time.

Looks like it's something on the computer. There are cookies that must be removed individually from the Firefox profile.

To do this, go to the Firefox Menu, tap Preferences, then tap privacy and then delete cookies or cookies see the. You can search the sites that gives you problems and remove them. Restart Firefox.

It could also be that you add a DNS server for your connection. 8.8.8.8 is google, but I don't know if this would affect given that the server is not found, not that there is no link, that's why it does not sound like a connection problem, but a cache problem. Use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles Firefox
