  This printer takes individual ink cartridges (IIC), and this ink delivery system requires that all cartridges to be installed for the printer to work. You can set the printer to "Using black ink only", but that must be done before a cartridge is exhausted, that the printer inks for other uses in fairest impression. It also uses the ink for the maintenance of the print heads. Here a link to a document that turns to explain various ways that ink is used in a printer beyond just printing.

  This printer was designed to function as a system of four cartridges, so you must have all four available ink cartridges in order to be able to print.

  Someone please tell me that the guy I talked to customer service is a fool and there is a way to print black and white, once your color cartridge runs out of ink.

  If this isn't the case, it's the cheapest clamp, all the money that I've ever heard of.  Someone please tell me they did sink that low.

  Printers that have individual ink cartridges (separate magenta, yellow and cyan) must have all the colors, mounted so as to ensure that the printhead to dry out and is not damaged. Some printers who have integrated print heads (that just take the 2 black and tricolor cartridges) have the ability to print in what is known as a reserve mode. That is where we remove the empty cartridge and is able to print a test page to determine if the printer can operate in reserve mode until a replacement can be purchased. The reason for the cartridges to install, is that the printer uses ink for other purposes in addition to printing. It is also used to maintain the printer.   Browser multimedia lla only will show you photos from your photo library, if the library is your system library.  Check in Photos preferences > general, if 'use as a Photo library system' is UO greyedcrossed, as it should be.

  and the application must be fully compatible with El Capitan, or it can only show the iPhoto and Aperture libraries.  You may need to update your copy of inDesign. I don't know, if there is a newer version.

  Yes! You will most likely have to screenshot data then hang your iPhone (including the charger) in your USB port in your computer. After that, you load your screen capture on your computer. Copy and paste into Microsoft word on your computer/laptop and then print! Then you have your printed data.

  Why a very useful feature has been removed?  Auto-hide is very probably the most annoying feature ever;  I prefer to be able to allow windows to open the taskbar and if I need press the Windows keyboard direct, we have been able to do for almost 10 years.

  Hi dmrmultimedias,

  I guess you are referring to the script error using the installer online.  If so, the DPI setting has been identified as the culprit.  If the DPI setting is not set to 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% installer will return the script error.  If your DPI setting is set to something else, please set it to one of these and Setup online should work.  The team is working on a fix for this.

  To check/change the DPI setting:

  1. start the control panel and go to control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display

  2. in the left menu, select the custom text size (DPI)

  3. in the custom configuration Windows DPI select 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% in the menu drop-down

  4. Select OK

  5. Select apply

  6. open a session/disable

  7. online installer should now run without displaying the script error.

  This is planned which will be fixed within two 2 weeks.

Exactly how do you this depends on which version of Acrobat you are using. With Acrobat 11 and DC, you would select: file > save as other > Reader Extended PDF > activate tools more

  PDF forms created with LiveCycle Designer must be enabled for the drive.
