  • Choose the settings in Facebook for BlackBerry, smartphones.

  Up to late last night, my outgoing email was working fine.

  Then when I tried to send a complex message that referenced multiple e-mail addresses (do not know if this is part of the question), I could not send the message. The process stopped at about 47% of fact, so I eventually canceled.

  Since then, whenever I try to send via Thunderbird the system times out with the following error box message:
  "The message sending failed. The message cannot be sent because the connection to the server of SMTP mail.twc.com expired. Try again or contact your network administrator. »

  I have confirmed my outgoing mail settings, including the port 587 with technical support Time Warner Cable, and I have confirmed that my mail into and out of Time Warner works very well in their WebMail.

  I searched files *.eml under Temp by a score of Trend Micro for Thunderbird taking over 30 seconds to send and have found no delete.

  Any other ideas?

  At least, he confirmed that their server was not the problem (it is running etc.) and make sure that these settings are correct and up to date is one of the steps mozillaZine told me to do the theme of "Cannot send mail", sub-heading of basic troubleshooting.

  During this time I find another piece of advice Thunderbird online (I note where) who told me to run Thunderbird without addons, and I managed to find where in Thunderbird to disable them.

  I was then unable to get Thunderbird to run at all (by clicking on the icon did nothing) BUT when I rebooted by computer, I was back in business and a moment later successfully send email - and very quickly as in ancient time before sending had begun to slow down.

  So I'm all set. This can help others, maybe, so I'm documenting.

  In response to your comment, it's a shame that so many help desk people are forced to stick to a script, isn't. But I found some very useful from time to time when the problem did turn out to be at an end.

  First of all, this is not recommended.  While I'm going to show you how little (after the second break), it is not really a way to remove it AND be always careful.  Its purpose is to protect you since removing the method by which the notice appears, you remove the security it provides as well (but I'll tell you anyway, and you can choose to follow the advice not to do or risk of your computer and the security of your computer and personal information that the decision belongs to you).

  In Internet Explorer, go to Tools / Internet Options / Security / custom level. Scroll down to "Display mixed content" and change it to "Enabled". Click OK and then again click OK, and then close all tabs and Windows Open IE. That's all.

  The next time that you open and use IE, you will never again see this notice.

  I am recording in Adobe Audition CS6 using a Focusrite Scarlett 18i6 interface. All works fantastic for about two months, but suddenly, when I record a track in the multitrack environment, there is a lag in the newly recorded track. There is no lag in the monitoring or the helmet, but once the recording is made and I'm playing the multitrack back, the new track recorded a little behind existing channels. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is happening?

  Nothing has changed on the laptop, with the exception of some windows updates on the eve of what is going on has begun.

  Well, I think I'd start by making sure you have the latest version of the control mix/drivers for your interface of the Focusrite site downloads | Focusrite.  Also, I would check that in the process of Windows updates you haven't been accidentally spent Focusrite Ms. ASIO or WASAPI drivers. (Check in Edition/Preferences/Audio material and check the setting of the device class).

  FYI, using pilots ASIO is enough key - suitable drivers correctly tell the hearing that allows him to compensate for the inevitable shift (most audio editors work the same way).  However, without the information of the driver, the compensation may not run.
