  Repeatedly, my indesign keeps crashing when I try to launch it. I reinstalled, but no difference. I checked the forums and found InDesign crashes at startup on Windows this page, but the link it says click to download does not allow me to click on it. It highlights and such when I hover, but does not allow to click me and download and the cursor is exactly as if I'm hovering above ordinary text. If not, how can I fix?

I opened Cloud to launch Photoshop and InDesign to test them, and it says have been updated, so I ran the updates for InDesign. When I tried to launch InDesign, I received the following message: Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. It does not give a code error or any other information. I did not run updates for Photoshop and can open very well now. I uninstalled InDesign and tried to run it without updates, and still, it crashes at launch, giving me the same message: Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working.   Since today my InDesign crashes at launch. I'm working on an imac with OSX 10.10.2 retina. Yesterday it worked fine. Tried to start after restarting, connect and on peripheral CC, uninstalled, fonts Adobe usb al disconnected. InDesign still crashes at launch. It crashes after the return of new features appears. Does anyone have a solution or advice?

  Update: the button I want to change is an icon that I made in Illustrator. I have other similar buttons, but the same sequence of actions used on them does not cause the program to crash.

  If possible, please use a different type of gradient than the gradient of the mesh in the elements of your button, then copy paste code.

  Otherwise, try to put the button in the ID in the file WITH layers (instead of copy paste).

  For a few weeks now, ID 5.5 crashes whenever I try to launch it. I use a MacBook Air with OS X El Capitan last version but the problem started a few weeks before I installed the update of the OS. I would add that I haven't added any police recently. I don't understand where the problem could come from.

  Since I downloaded and installed Mac OS X El Captain (and maybe its coincidence) InDesign crashes instantly after opening the application. I uninstalled the application using the creative application cloud and then installed again, I rebooted my computer, I disconnected and back in the creative cloud. I get no error message, except the report a screen of dialogue question pop up (attached). Any ideas? Should I call Adobe? Photoshop and Illustrator seem to open without any problems.

  Since 2 weeks I have a clean install of Mavericks on a whole new end 2013 Macbook Pro of the retina. All the latest updates apple are installed.

  I made a first installation of CS6. Photoshop and Illustrator work very well, but Indesign crashes during the splash screen.

  InDesign crashes every time you double-click to open an InDesign file and has done so since the replacement of the original version of InDesign into the launch of CC.  Does anyone else have this problem?  I would say it was unique to my system if I had not met the problem several times on several different systems now.  You must restart InDesign which then opens the recovery file, so he saw the file you are trying to launch in the first place.  This leads me to believe that the problem lies in the registry file to InDesign inside Windows systems association.  I find it incredible that this problem still exists and remains declared that a solution has not been implemented by Adobe to rectify the problem.

  Double click is a fundamental tenant of open files on a Windows system in the same way, that a click is on a Mac.  Does InDesign crash ever time a Mac user clicks to open their records, I don't think.

  Someone at - it ideas other than the obvious which is Adobe actually released their figure and fixed it.

  Yes, I think you're onto something when you identify yourself as a registry problem. Maybe try another registry cleaner/checker? Maybe someone has published the specific registry fix.

  If you uninstall, restart, then clean the registry, then reboot, then reinstall, you may have the opportunity to fix the registry corruption.

  CS6 is not supported because there is no financial sense to spend money trying to 'fix' an old program to run on a new hardware/OS with (no guarantee of success), or a willingness of users to pay for repairs when new versions are already in operation. There is no reason why you can't continue working in CS6 - do - if you don't need the features that have been added since then. You just need to run it on a compatible hardware.

  Please make sure that your InDesign CC 2015 is updated to the latest version 11.4.1.102, if it is not, and make sure you're trashing preferences and cache before running the InDesign update.

  If accidents are still happening, so make sure you submit the accident report to Adobe.

  In the meantime, accidents are happening with a particular document or in a specific workflow? If Yes, then please share the document as a package with [email protected] or can he us say about the actions that you perform before InDesign crashed.
