    Microsoft has removed completely support Internet TV in September 2012.

    I am running Windows Media Center on a PC Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit and connection via a home network wired to an XBox 360 console as an Extender:

    Problem:
    I see the Internet tile TV in Windows Media Center on my PC. However, the tile of Internet TV does NOT appear when Windows Media Center is seen of my XBox 360 Extender and connected to my PC. Why can I not see the tile on my XBox 360 Extender Internet TV?

    Internet TV is not supported on Extenders, you will only see the tile on the PC.

    Internet TV is available only in the United States and the United Kingdom.

    If you are located in one of the locations above, then try to re-run the whole upward.

    Open WMC, tasks > settings > General > Windows Media Center Setup > run the Setup again.

    Also, make sure that you have installed the latest version of the flash player.

    I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, with Media Center. I was able to get Internet TV, but now it does not appear as an option in Windows Media Center. IM always display the icon of the Media Center in 'Programs' for Internet TV for WMC, but the only option is to 'uninstall '. How can I get this feature working?

    From 20/09/2012 Internet TV is nolonger available on Windows Media Center.

    I have been using Internet TV and LOVE it on my Linksys Extender DMA2200 since I installed Windows 7 RC1 in June. Now that I have installed Windows 7 Home Premium I have Internet TV in Media Center, but it is absent from my Extender! I got something free that I have more now that I paid for this...     If none of the steps above worked you also try reinstalling the Media Center and see if that fixes the problem.

    Reinstall Windows Media Center
    ========
    1. open the control panel configuration/programs and features.
    2. click on "Turn Windows features on or off" in the left pane.
    3. expand "Multimedia functions", uncheck "Windows Media Center". Click 'Yes' to continue and click OK to exit. Then restart.
    4. open "Turn Windows features on or off" again. Enable the 'Windows Media Center' features. Turn it back on.
    5. launch Windows Media Center, initialize the program.
    See if it works without problem.

  • Internet to my windows media center tv did not work after that I just watched several shows on that and then all of a sudden it says no supported region or country.

    my location is currently set to United States English. Fix it or im not to buy another computer with windows again and im taking this one back thanks fix

    Run the Setup again.

    Open WMC > tasks > settings > General > installation Windows Media Center > rerun the installation

    OK, so I have more than 50 programs on my computer, but something went wrong. All my programs have the icon of windows media center.     If the attempt to add-in, reinstall the Internet TV application: go to start, Control Panel, programs, uninstall a program, select Internet TV for Windows Media Center and choose uninstall.

    Then, open Media Center and re-install the Internet TV application.

    In addition, make sure your video drivers are up to date.

    Here's what you need to configure Internet TV on your computer:

    ·         Have an active Internet connection.

    ·         Complete the installation of Windows Media Center.

    ·         Wait a few minutes for an automatic download complete.

    If you do not see these items of menu in a few minutes after the installation, go to:

    "" "" Tasks"settings" general "Automatic Download Options" Download now.

    After you download updates, these menu items appear in the Windows Media Center Start menu:

    1.Guide: a TV program on the Internet and broadcast TV program lists *.
    2. Internet TV: an experience of discovery Visual to see shows, movies and videos.
    3.promotions: direct links to specific Internet TV, movies and videos.

  • After clean install of Windows 7, Netflix and Internet TV plugin does not work on Windows Media Center.

    Is there anyway that I can replace the whole C:\Windows\ehome? There is a permissions issue, and I can't find a way to change the permissions...

    The only reason I want to do is I did a clean install of windows 7 and the plugin TV Pluzz.fr and the internet do not work on this computer and it seems to be no work around. But I have a PC where WMC works fine and I can replace the entire record of WMC and it should work like the other PC (I think).

    I could do if I ran linux or something, but I'm looking for something simple or a fix to this problem with WMC.

    Microsoft abandoned Internet TV for Windows Media Center in September 2012. So you will need to use IE.
