  Hello Marlin29, this is currently an issue in firefox when you close all firefox windows open first and then close the application subsequently - the bug should be addressed in a more recent version of firefox.

  a workaround in the meantime, you could close firefox (via firefox > quit) while the browser window is still running or try this: enter: config in the firefox address bar (confirm the message information where it appears) & search preference named browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash. Double-click it and change its value to false.

  Well as I said the game stops after about 7 minutes no signal sign is that the screen turns off. I just got sims 3 world adventures expansion pack. the rest of my computer runs well.  and games says im to update so I do not know someone help me please.

  Check if the graphics cards is upda to date. If this isn't the case, then update the website of the manufacturer of the system.
  You also have a malware scanner to check that there is no infection.

  I have a Dell Dimension 9100 running as Windows XP Media center SP3.  I bought the new video editing software that will not install because it says I need Directx 9 or higher.  I ran DXDiag and it says I have version 8.1.  I went to the microsoft site and downloaded an update and installed, but get the same problem.  DxDiag says 8.1 and my graphics card Control Panel also shows 8.1.  The graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 6800.  I went to their website and downloaded the latest driver, version 191,7, but that didn't help either.  What can I do?

So back to Jodix and found another message that says: I may need to update Windows Media Player to version 7.1 or later version. Only, I don't know what version I have (sorry, I can't find the information). And I don't even know what to do if I found the info. Really, I just want to make my purchases from Wal-Mart (purchased several years as wma) to play on my mp3 player. Can someone help me? I would like your advice. Thank you!

  Step 2: To determine the version of Media Player installed on the computer, you can do the following.

  a. open Windows Media Player.

  b. click on help in the menu bar, and then click.

  c. If the menu help is not displayed, press ALT + H and then click on to words.

  Step 3: You can upgrade to the latest version of the player. Download the same from the Microsoft Download Center.

  Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

  Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
  2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
  3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:

       • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
       • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
     • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.

  Try to reset the App Store:

  Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. You may be able to pick up the tab App Store covering scribbles to the left.

  Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

  Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  Then reconnect to the iTunes Store.

  Also try by going to settings > general > Restrictions > and make sure that iTunes Store, Apps install, delete the Apps and In - App purchases are all under the section allow. Try to install again.
