• Export settings - incorrect page layout

  Hi guys,.

  You wonder if you can help me, I hit a dead end! Thus, the first image shows a screenshot of my indesign document hence is the median line. However, the two images show the export. The second image is the first page where it ends and adds at the edge of the second page on the end, and then the third image is the second page, but seems to add at the edge of the first at the beginning.

  I can't work out why. It must be of export settings (?), but I tried everything what it seems!

  For reference, the background and the presentation is a document linked from photoshop, mounted at the waist. It works very well when you export as a spread, however, I need to export individual pages as for our printers.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  I think that will be sewn way SADDLER (folded and stapled) and does not require bleeding from the inside. Set it to 0.

• Allow the setting of the default page layout

  Does anyone know how to set 'Enable Layout adjustment' (page layout > margins and columns...) by default? It is grayed out when I try to put it in ID 6 for Mac with no open files:

  

  I have spent a lot of time to try to understand what I had done in the past to get the text frames resize when I put a new model.   Don't open any file, layout > Liquid Layout > This opens Control Panel > steering wheel Panel > setting layout > enable layout adjustment

  This question was one; loan requested in the forum and the only answer I could find said:

  However, I don't see where in the palette Pages I can remove the provision of the replacement. Could someone please explain exactly how to do this (I created accidently a different layout I want any).

  Make sure you have chosen the Pages panel menu > display Pages > by different layout. If necessary, expand the Pages panel so you can see the other layouts. Click on the menu at the top right of the different layout and choose Remove other provision.

  

• How can I disable the alternative page layouts in the pages Panel?

  For some reason any my pages Panel as divided into two columns, header V A4 and A4 V 2, I assume these are models replacing export HTML or something.

  How can I disable these options? I don't need this feature right now and I have pages in a single column that I need in the other. Don't seem to be able to find the commands to do this.

  Yes you can do it.

  If your formatting is "placed", then you need to just reference the pages in the script that you want to make visible/hidden.

  If you have a layout "Flowed", and then you add objects to the sales page, LC Designer will create additional instances of this page. In the script when you reference the sales page should be visible, it will be all instances (overflow) visible.

  You cannot use the method get (core/AcroForm javascript). However, it is still pretty easy to get data from different pages.

  For example, javascript in the case to calculate an object on the sales page:

  this.rawValue = adminPage.customerName.rawValue;

  You just need to reference the object entirely.

  There is a very handy tip to insert references to objects.

  1. Select the object to which you want to enter the script in.
  2. Then highlight the object that you want to reference. Do not select it.
  3. Click in the Script Editor (at the top you will see that you are in the object you selected in step 1.
  4. Press control and hover over the object that you want to reference. The mouse turns into a 'V '.
  5. While maintaining control (the mouse pointer is a 'V'), click the object that you want to reference.
  6. LC Designer will insert the correct reference and include the reference as long as it is necessary.
  7. If you see, xfa.resolveNode in the reference, it could mean that you have not named a page or a subform, or if you have multiple objects with the same name. It is best to go back and fix that and then go through the steps above to get a clean reference.

  If you also want information to be synchronized between all three pages, you can name the same object on all three pages and in the object > range of defined binding binding to Global. In this way, regardless of what is typed in the field on three pages, will automatically be the same thing on other pages.

  I have a master page layout / detail (main table, long form). Whenever I change the focus of one main line to another (for example from the first to the second row), updating of the main table together. The 'new' line has already been read before it gets focus, in order to make a refresh seems completely unnecessary. Is it possible to change this behavior?

  Check in pageDef for entry ChangeEventPolicy = 'ppr' for your iterator entries... If so just remove it...

  Why the source of the page option is removed from the menu view in FF7.0.1? I still can't use the CTRL + u shortcut, but somehow, I prefer the menu road and it makes it easier to explain this feature to others.

• Replacing / liquid vs layout of removal of the deletion Page layout

  Not sure if I should ask this here or in the general forum of InDesign. But when it comes using the "alternate" layout What is the main difference between 'deleting pages' vs 'removing putting substituting? I tested both, and deleting pages seems the deletion of the provision of "spare" created.

  I'm just trying to decide if its worth using pages of alternative provision, even without the import option, or if I should just glue at several indesign files.

  If you remove only the pages on the alternative plan, you do not delete the styles associated with this provision. As a rule, delete (or cancel) alternate layouts; do not delete pages unless you want to keep for some reason autour styles any.

  Although the import of other layouts is not yet supported, I still think it's interesting to use the functionality in some cases.   I don't think you understand my answer.  If you look at my page gallery.shtml again, you will see text links to other galleries that load inside the same iframe as the first target.  IOW: I don't need a separate page for each iframe.  I just need a single page for all iframes load in because it's a different layout from the rest of my site.

  Yosemite = default, the 1st Gallery, target = "iFRAME1".

  Monterey Gallery 2nd =, target = "iFRAME1".

  4 July 3rd = Gallery, target = iFRAME1 ".

• Why was the previous pages eliminated drop?

  There used to be a drop down arrows/back previous pages so you may open and come back say, 3 pages, easily. Is the only way to do it now to open the story? If so, it is VERY annoying.

  You can get the menu drop-down by clicking on the previous/next buttons or now the left key pressed until the list is displayed.

  Installation of bottom in the document margin cannot be less than 1.5 cm (or 0.57 inch). The footer margin must be also bigger than that so it can be printed.

• Keep the multiple page layout when exporting as a PDF

  I created a presentation of several page, I would like to export them to PDF while keeping several page display so that the customer can easily understand how it will look. It currently exports to single pages rather than the 3 beautiful spread I created the page.

  It seems in fact that there is no need to be created as facing pages, as long as you have the doc configured not to mix and you drag the pages together into a single unit. Check the "Spreads" box in the export dialog box.
