  Out of all these tools, Malwarebytes is the best in my opinion. I use the free version and it worked fine. But make sure you run a full scan (the "analysis of threat" not the "Hyper Scan") and the version of database is the last (click 'Update Now' on the dashboard Malwarebytes). Even on a PC Windows 8.1, I saw the full analysis to take less than 20 minutes. Of course that depends on how many files you have. The more you, more the scan takes.

  Just go in the Panel. Programs and features and then click on the left of "view installed updates" and find Windows Internet Explorer 9, and then you can uninstall it.  You should know that it is installed automatically via Windows Update, so you'll need to keep it to be reinstalled.  I think you can go Windows Update manually, and then it will ask you, then you can't deny it there and it should stick.

  Depends on what you used for the backup.
