  • I can't see the list of available wireless even when connected to wireless internet connections.

    I can't see the list of available wireless connections. So I can't connect to new wireless connections as I have not logged in before. The icon in the taskbar that would show you the possible connections disappeared. Nothing shows under connections network under Favorites network even when I'm logged in. I can pick up internet connections from earlier I can't see that one that is connected to or control it. Help, please. Thank you.

    I understand that you have a DVD picture in your SuperDrive drive, but it is not mount on the desktop and will not eject.

    Please, try the procedure described in this article using the disc is ejected.

    Do not eject discs or discs eject slowly

    1. If the drive ejects discs slowly or appears to have difficulty, insert and eject a disc several times. Check the disc to see if it has a label or other material stuck to the disc which increases the thickness. Remove the label if possible.
    2. If the disc does not eject, try pressing the eject on the keyboard button. Some older keyboards may use the F12 key to eject the disc.
    3. If the disc does not eject, try dragging the icon of the disk to the trash.
    4. If the disc will still not eject, try to hold down the mouse or trackpad button after you restart the computer. The Superdrive should attempt to eject the disc.

    I read a lot on this subject on various sites of forms and failed to find a solution.

    My project is filmed in 1080i @22Mbps and is 2 hours long that I split on two discs... There is NO images or graphics aside a grab single image to roll over the titles, there is some .mp3 and one. WMA file for audio.

    My method of editing, I edited the entire project in a single calendar, so when I get overall even length I it spread over approximately a two-disc length... Disc 2 was made as H.264 blu - ray and any in yet for blu - ray authoring this worked flawlessly, however with disc one I get the error "the software used to decode the media not available on this system...". blah blah blah! »

    I'm working on windows 10 PC with enough RAM and processing power and graphics.

    Can anyone provide a reason or a solution please.

    I rechecked the timeline and there are no gaps or breaks in there, I made the file as H.264 and imported the .mp4 still work but flow is low.

    Ok.. then MPEG2-Blu-ray has imported and burned to disc correctly... I'll let discs go to the client in this format and hope that its ok for them

    I was watching today and noticed that it was missing from my Bookmarks Sidebar. I managed to do reappear, but now when I try to open a site bookmark, the site will appear in the narrow space once where they were. No idea as to what happened and what can I do about it? I have an iMac running OSX 10.5.8.

    Opening in the sidebar is the default value for the bookmarks created via a link or a button on a Web site.

    You can view the properties of a bookmark using the context menu in the side bar (Ctrl + B; Cmd + B on Mac).

    In the Bookmark Manager (Bookmarks > show all bookmarks) you can click on the button more in the lower details pane on the right.

    Make sure "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.

    Products are available in different countries depending on several factors, some of them are the customer demand, availability of parts, the available technology, legal implications and profitablility.  It is possible that many of these types of factors is not available in your market right now, but maybe in the future.  I'll be happy to post if I get more information.

    3847 Inspiron desktop computer. I want WOL to work. It is said in the BIOS disabled. However, it is also grayed out and I can't move allow.

    Link light is NOT on when power off.

    Other card network through the operating system settings are enabled, but the command does not work. (Works with other computers I have)

    The online manual does not list the BIOS screens I can't see the options. I guess that it is simply not available in this model and therefore grayed out.

    Y at - it an option for PXE or something else which must be activated in order to make the option available WOL? You have to change some power settings in the BIOS so that the network card is not off?

    You can try to reset the BIOS by default to see if there is just a mistake that can be erased:

    1. Restart, and then press F2 to open Setup
    2. Copy down all current settings
    3. Switch off and disconnect
    4. Power button press / hold for about 15 seconds
    5. Open the case and remove the motherboard battery
    6. Power button press / hold for about 30 seconds
    7. Replace the battery (right-side-to the top!)
    8. Reboot and press F2
    9. See if the WOL is available now
    10. And if you encounter startup problems, make sure that the BIOS settings match what you copied

    c. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
