  I just bought a CM100 used on eBay, so I can get rid of my Charter rental, but it doesn't seem to work with my BELKIN router.

  The model number is BELKIN F5D7230-4. I tried everything, but the 'CONNECT' led will continue to Flash.

  I thought it was my mode, but when I bought a new LINKSYS WRT54G2 router, it works perfectly.

  Could someone help me please? If I can't use the BELKIN one, I'll keep the new router LINKSYS, suggestions?

  As CM100 works with the WRT router... This means that there is no problem with the CM100... If the Belkin router does not work then, you make the Belkin router settings. Your modem CM100 is absolutely perfect...

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click on the menu button , click Help , and then select restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
  • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  If Safe Mode did not help, delete all references to Hotmail, as described under the heading "How to remove a single website to my story?" in this article - delete navigation, search and download history on Firefox, then try again the site (not related to an old favorite). Note: It may take a few minutes to complete the removal.

• Why java does not work in internet 10 windows explorer 8?

  Java does not work on my computer. It's the new computer with windows 8 and internet explore 10. I downloaded Java and using Explorer to desktop.

  But whenever I go online and website requires Java I get same error message "ClassNotFoundExeption". Same error I get if I go to the Java Web site and press the button Test Java. I tried different things that have been proposed on Java.com and Microsoft.com but nothing has worked. I have newest Java and had no problem in downloading. I appreciate any suggestions.

  The initial problem was never solved?  I still can't get Java to work and I tried everything above except set up a new user account that has no meaning.  Using Windows 8 to 64-bit, Java 32 bits and I have installed and uninstalled several times on the desktop.  The site I can access works fine on my Windows 7 laptop and I have the same settings in Java on two laptops.

  Errm. Is there is no entry in the msconfig Startup tab then there is no complete command to try and see!

  If this only happens at startup, it may be in via a mechanism not covered by msconfig. "Autoruns" should be. You can download Autoruns here

  Once again, to see the full command (equivalent column is called 'Image path' by Autoruns), you may need to widen the column by dragging the right edge of its title, the mouse pointer will change when you can drag to expand

  AFTER THIS WINDOW IT SAYS PRESS OK BUT MY LAPTOP DOES ME NOT LEAVE THE REST OF THE ARROW IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WINDOW & WON'T LET ME CLICK ON IT! WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THROUGH THIS PROCESS!
