Why iTunes opens after an iOS device is disconnected?

I recently deselected the option to open iTunes when my iOS devices connect to my MacBook and indeed, iTunes doesn't open when either becomes connected. That option seems missing from the iTunes latest version update, but I digress.

The problem I'm facing is happening when I unplug the MacBook is iOS device: iTunes opens immediately after the unit disconnects independently to know if the device was manually ejected via iTunes before you leave.

A few details about my products:

MacBook (13-inch, aluminum, late 2008) | 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo | 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 | NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M 256 MB | 1 TB 7200 RPM SATA HDD

Mac OS X 10.11.5

iTunes 12.4.0.119

iPhone 6 more, 128 GB

iPad 16 GB Wi - Fi + cell Air

iOS 9.3.2

The answer to my question was, "iScrobbler cause iTunes to reopen once your iOS device disconnects". All I had to do was leave iScrobbler to my problem to solve.

I have several questions regarding iTunes 12.3.2.35

Why the PICTURES open in my MBP when my phone is connected to my MBP, I don't have that happen, where only deselect the options.

When I create a PLAYLIST the playlist is only PLAYS IN ORDER, I HAVE SONGS in, I must now enter and designate what is next?

I have them in the order I want them but they won't 'just play', why, how to do what I had.

In addition, in iTunes how do a song just play over and over again after this one ends.

I also have these same questions for my iPhone 6, 9.2 iOS and the iPhone 5 running 9.1

Thanks for any help or light you can provide

It's a picture of setting, not iTunes.  Next time open pictures like this, look for the checkbox control to not open next time, plugged (either near top left).  If you want this same order on your device, you must re - sync to iTunes.

After you create the playlist and get the order you want, Ctrl-click on the name of the playlist and select "Copy to play order" to save the sort order.  iTunes always behaved this way.

The repeat function is on the command menu in iTunes.

  • iTunes sync after updating iOS issue new 10

Once the new iOS updated 10-day, I connected my iPhone 6 with iTunes (v11.4) on my Mac (OS X 10.6.8) to synchronize. I have not had any problems before the update. After the new iOS updated, I connected because I want to sync new music to my library, but I got this alert saying ""iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because an invalid response was received from the device. " " I tried to restart my computer and peripheral and also tried

USB cable to synchronize with another, but nothing has worked. I said the new update of iOS has something to do with it, everyone with this problem?

iOS9 or newer on a mobile device requires iTunes 12.3 or higher, which in turn requires a computer running OSX 10.8.5 or higher.  If you have installed iOS10 very probably you run iTunes 12.5.1 find which demands in turn 10.9.5 OSX or newer.  Software update checks only the updates to the current version of the system that you are running but that itself can be updated.  It may or may not be possible to upgrade your computer to the system requirements. Find your computer on the web site of http://www.everymac.com model and near the bottom of the specification of the system section, he will tell what versions of the operating system, it is able to run. If you can not run a newer system, you will not be able to sync this phone to your current computer. If she can run 10.8.5 or higher, you can either buy a download for Apple OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion code online, or you can try to install the free El Capitan OSX 10.11.  El Capitan can run slower on older machines and require the additional purchase of RAM (4 GB is a minimum realistic and many recommend 8 GB).  Making a big jump in versions of system is also more likely to affect the old software.

  • WhatsApp is not opening after updating ios 10?

anyone else having issues like this?

Anyone know how I can fix this problem?

As is true for many apps, Whatsapp has released a new version (2.16.10) September 13, 2016, which is compatible with the iOS 10.  You have the latest version?  If this isn't the case, it is almost certainly the cause of your problem.

  • BB10: My signed application does not open after Installation of device

    Hi guys,.

as the title suggests, does not open my signed application.

    A few facts:

    • When I touch my application signed on the device icon, the screen shakes from left to right, as a sign that he can't open.
    • It works fine when I use the debugging token and charge of QNX Momentics IDE.
    • I use a program called DDPB to install my signed. BAR in the device.
    • I signed with the same signature and with the same program (DDPB) other applications and they open.

Gosh, I just need to make it work so I can download it from AppWorld. And my client is in a hurry and he's angry.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  • Why accept Photos PhotoStream updated iOS devices?

It seems once 'Photos' came on the scene, so it's more seamless integration between iOS and OSX versions.  It is a step backwards.  It is a pain to have to find a cable, and then plug it into the (very expensive) dongle on my Macbook 2015, to get photos to date.  Is there a current difficulty yet?

I just had to go to the preferences, turn off the stream of Photos, then again in market.  Crude, but effective.

Comment: If I wanted to do this kind of thing for current operations, I'd go back to a PC rather than buy a new Macbook.   :-/

I hope that someone at Apple reads these.

  • After iTunes update, none of my devices are most recognized

So I use Windows 10 and I have an old iPhone 4S running iOS 7.0.2 I use mainly to keep all my music on. I've recently updated my older version of iTunes to version 12.4.0.119, but after that it does not recognize the phone more. The USB cable works again - I can play the music that is on the phone in the car using the cable, and when plugged into my computer, I can still see the photos and the phone always fresh. iTunes just does nothing, so I can't put music on it more.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, but it did nothing. When I don't run a diagnosis in iTunes, a problem came under the "Ports" section that says "no iPod, iPhone or iPad found. I tried to look in this and read somewhere that I may need to update the drivers or something. (I have a lot of knowledge or experience with this). But go to control panel-> device-> Controllers USB Manager, there is nothing there for Apple. When the phone is plugged in, the only thing that appears is 'Apple iPhone' under 'portable '.

Any advice on what I should do now? So far I've never really had unmanageable problems, but I would go back to put new music on my phone.

    Thank you.

If your iOS device does not appear in iTunes, try the following:

    1. Open Control Panel > Device Manager
    2. Plug in your device
    3. Locate Bus USB Controllers > Apple Mobile Device USB Driver.
It is also possible that the device may appear under imaging devices, portable devices or other devices or as a device USB of MTB.
    4. Right-click and select software update of the driver...
    5. Click Browse my computer for driver software
    6. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers or
      C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
    7. Click on let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer
    8. Click on Apple Mobile Device USB Driver
    9. Click Next, then close and exit the Device Manager

To step 3 above, open the Device Manager. Expand one of the articles that are listed.

    • USB Bus controllers
    • Imaging devices
    • Portable devices
    • Other devices

Plug in the appliance. You should hear the telltale Windows sound device connection and a Division must acquire a new entry. This should be your device. It cannot be labelled properly at this point. If you do not hear a suspicious noise cable damaged.

Or try If iTunes does not your iPad, iPhone or iPod - Apple Support

If not try a complete tear down and rebuild iTunes in accordance with the resolution of the problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

Or try to go back to the last version of iTunes that has worked for you. See the programs installation of iTunes to download links. If you roll back to 12.4.0.119 to 12.3.3.17 or 12.3.2.35, for example, then you will also need restore the database of the library in the manner described in the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library. The tip makes suggestions to reintroduce recent purchases, so at worst, you lose a few meters or a newly created playlist.

Why cannot open iTunes with windows 10

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. (Yes, I see that you've done that but maybe not the specific deletions which are mentioned).

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

  • No, I don't have Photos to open for each managed device iOS

I have recently updated our administrative MacBook with OS X 10.11.2 iPad. I use it to manage all of our devices with Configurator. Whenever one of the devices is wiped and restored, Photos automatically opens. Even if I uncheck the Image Capture for the iOS device it reappears after restoration.

If you manage a large number of iOS devices it becomes FRUSTRATING to NO END.

Is it possible to disable the application pictures to launch automatically at all times?

Only one by one while they are connected to unchecking the checkbox to open the Photos when the unit is plugged

Apple certainly needs remedy to this - say - http://www.apple.com/feedback/photos.html

Someone posted a hack just now - no idea if it works or is safe (probably) has gone after each update of the OS - if you are looking for Photos for Mac Ant that's where
