Why Lightroom delete ALL my photos from Flickr? Can it be fixed?

Hello

I enjoyed using Lightroom over the past years.  Recently, I made the huge mistake to register for Adobe Creative Cloud.  Lightroom 2015.2.1 on OS X El Capitan was incredibly buggy, but only in a frustrating way up to our days.

I use Lightroom to synchronize photos, among other things, my son to a Flickr album to see the family across the country.  Family leave comments and favorite photos, so it was a good use of the systems.  There are thousands of images out there.

Last night, I added a half-dozen more images that I used to do: slide in the album in Flickr Adobe publishing service, click with the right button on the album and click on publish now.  Before publish, I checked to make sure that the images I was clear were in the image list to be published (I was bitten by a selection 'Changed to republish images' strange a few times on 2015.2.1 so I'm now very careful about that).  This morning I wake up to find essentially my Flickr album all erased.  He has deleted everything and may have been slowly adding them until he locked up (as it does now apparently all 60 minutes even on the best days).  1200 images, 5 remain.  I'm quite sad to think about all the metadata that has been just lost.

Is it possible to fix this?  I don't know even where to start.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jason

I was bit surprised if it was out of Flickr considering it coincides directly with a postback event

If there is a bug in the API that third-party applications as LR invoke, then it is quite possible that the Flickr server has deleted the photos in response to LR publishes a collection of the server.   It is also quite possible that there is a bug in the Flickr from LR plugin - but so far I've seen a verified report of a bug in CC 2015.2.1, where LR post keywords incorrectly.

Once you are on the CC plan, it is possible to go back to older versions of the software?

Yes. Many people have started with CC 2015.1.1, the latest stable version. Same Adobe recommends. See these instructions: How do I roll back to Lightroom 2015.1.1 or Lightroom 6.1.1? CC 2015.3 is rumored to be available soon, but recommend to wait a few weeks before the update - let others do the beta testing.

I activated for my photos to iCloud and imported all my photos from my iPhone in my library of Photos. Yes, if you delete the photos in the Photos of your iPhone app will remove also them to iCloud. You must export them from your photo library into folders or another photo management application.

That's enough for me to leave Apple. It is INCREDIBLY complicated. I spent 1/2 hour scouring the internet for the answer. I don't want to hit select 150 times. • How do I delete all the photos in Lightroom Mobile?

I would like to delete all the photos in my photo library Lightroom Mobile. A one-step procedure would be ideal.

For background: Lightroom my Office catalog has tens of thousands of photos and hundreds of collections. When I was getting familiar with Lightroom Mobile first, I synced all my photos with the service. It was a mistake; I didn't know that this would result in large amounts of data fill my mobile devices (I thought that the service worked more like Dropbox, OneDrive, etc., where the photos are loaded as needed). My photo library Lightroom Mobile is now much too large to fit on my mobile, and even partially synchronization fills my devices immediately. I want to empty my library and start over.

Select individually each image in the web interface is not a practical solution. It is not as convenient keep all photos in Lightroom on mobile and then delete the unwanted collections of different mobile devices, because it would involve deleting hundreds of events for each mobile device whenever I created Lightroom Mobile. I would like to erase from my library and start again with a small number of collections in sync.

Any advice on how this could be done would be appreciated!

In preferences > Lightroom Mobile, there is a delete all the data button.

  • Update to new IOS - now all the photos from iphoto to my macBook suddenly are also on my iphone5S - how to delete photos on my phone without deleting on the macbook?

Hello dear, I need your help.

I did yesterday an update to new IOS - now all the photos from iphoto to my MacBook are suddenly also on my iphone5S - how to delete photos on my phone without deleting on the macbook?

They are very old photo from my childhood so I definitley them do not need on my phone, but on my MacBook, I want to keep them.

Thank you very much for your support.

Check the settings on your iPhone.  Have you enabled iCloud photo library in the settings > iCloud > Photos on your iPhone?  Or "my photo stream?

If you have iCloud library active on your and your iPhone photos sync iCloud and from there will to all your devices.

If you do not want to synchronize on your iPhone photos, clear the iCloud photo library, but do not allow to delete photos from iCloud, or they will be removed the Mac as well.  With the removal of your iPhone, wait until all iCloud photo options have been disabled.

lost all my photos from iCloud, after deleting the photos from my phone. How can I recover my photos?

Go to iCloud.com using a computer and then photos. Looking for an album recently deleted.

  • How to recover photos from an iPhoto rebuild that occurred and delete all my photos?

I have a Macbook Air running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 and has been using iPhoto, when he told me to make a reconstruction of my iPhoto application to continue to use it.  My only option was to move forward, but when I did, the app rebooted and deleted all my photos and other video content recorded on the app. He has been on my iCloud and disappeared, since the restart of the application.  How can I get it back?

Your backup is the obvious answer. If this is not possible:

Download I rPhoto library to manageand use its function of reconstruction. (In early versions of the Library Manager, this is the file-> command Rebuild.) In versions later it is under the menu library.)

This will create a completely new library. It will then copy (or try) your photos and all associated metadata and versions to this library and as close as possible to what you had in the damaged library fix it. It does this based on the information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but it means that things not shared won't be there, so no slide shows, books or calendars, for example - but it should recover all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places.

Because this process creates a completely new library and does not change your old, it is non-destructive, and if you are not satisfied with the result, you can simply go back to your old.

  • How can I delete all THE pictures from the Iphone 6?

I am trying to remove all the photos from my Iphone 6. I have had no luck with one of the methods I've tried, including the phone for the Mac, excluding photos of synchronization.

You have iCloud library enabled? If so photos can be rear sync. If this is not the case, try first to reset the Photos App close pictures completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the photo preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Then open the pictures, select Albums, select Camera Roll, then click Select and run your finger through all the photos you want to delete.

If the above does not help, please detail what you've already tried. As you noted, photos synced from your computer only can be deleted by "unsyncing" their new.
