  Why Microsoft removed the ability for Windows Vista to install on herself from one location other than being inside the BONE you want to repair.

  I recently had a problem where Vista Business 64-bit would only boot to a black screen with a mobile cursor - KSOD.   Who, in searching the Web I found is a fairly common problem with Vista.  I discovered that my only option was about to reinstall Vista CLEAN and all the other programs I had installed under it.  I can't believe that Microsoft released the 'repair installation option"similar to that of Windows XP, where you can hit the"R"key during installation and we left with nothing but the"System Restore"options and"Startup Repair ".  Neither of which has helped in my situation.  Since then, this was a dual system boot with XP Pro, then any restore point has been removed from the partition to Vista anytime, I started another recognized problem, by Microsoft, which Microsoft has made no significant effort to fix, in addition to recommending that you hide the partion Vista in XP - a whole of XP.  That beats a little the entire purpose of dual boot.

  As I tried to start in safe mode, it left me at the same point as a normal boot - black screen with a cursor.  I tried ctrl + alt + delete and nothing. Two Windows RE options did not help me.  This left me no option but to the completely reinstall Vista.   Why Microsoft did remove the ability for Windows Vista to install on herself from one location other than being inside the BONE you want to repair.. Please don't tell me that it is because Vista uses an image file instead of an installation as XP system.   I see no other reason for not allowing the upgrade of outside BONE in addition to Microsofts greed and paranoia that he can transform the operating system easier to install illegally.  I hope that some third party has actually changed the Vista installation routine to allow you to install Vista on itself, because as it is, it's really hard for me to even recommend Vista as the operating system or install any where else, if not the only recourse after loading OS, is to reinstall completely.

  Adobe, Autodesk, and almost all other software publishers... allow you to perform a "REPAIR" of their software installation, if something prevents you to load after installation.  Even MS Office has a routine repair.  Ms has an internal version of the Setup routine which allows outside the OS upgrade option that you want to "Upgrade" / repair? ".  If not, why?

  Then, you were lucky.  Try to replace the system files on a computer that does not start even at a desk or safe mode usually will get a return to office, but will probably repeat the same problem in a few weeks.  Tech professional would only use this function to retrieve the data before a complete reinstallation.

  I want to IBA allows you to create ePub files that take advantage of all THE features of iBooks. However, in accordance with article above, this is not an option: "you will not be able to change the fonts or view files ePub created with these new models in night mode."

  I use the night mode all the time, and I often want to adjust the size or font style, so I have these options available in ePub files I create. I don't want to lose the ability to use features iBooks group of Notes and cards to study.

  I've tried the iBooks format, but these capabilities are also not there, since iBooks are made to be formatted in a particular way and has not changed a lot. That's why I'm set for the ePub format.

  I have all kinds of helmets that work very well.

  As to why the bike not turned in the box - I would say that most people do not use them. You may disagree, and perhaps it is regional. But looking around the United States and the European Union, most of the people with cell phones do not use wired headphones. And the few people I know that do, tend to buy a different brand of what is in the box.

  In the United States, you can get them in many stores for less then $10 for Motorola is saving most of us who do not use wired headphones. I have a set that runs in my backpack as a backup, but I always forget it's there and use the phone without it.

This becomes worse and worse until the system becomes unusable.

  I belong to several thousand users of Windows who is plagued by the iexplore.exe virus. I used 5 different virus/malware removers (including MS Security Essentials and MSERT.exe), but they do not solve this problem.
  Why Microsoft did not recognize this virus dangerous and done something to remove it? (ODILE. EXE does not help).  Only users that I found on the web that have to get rid of this nasty virus are those who reformatted their hard drives.  Microsoft can surely do better than that.
  Has anyone found a solution that actually works?  (A lot of the fixes suggested on the net "seem" to work for a few hours or a day or two, but then the virus appears again upward and consumes most or all of the cycles CPU).

  And you think this is a virus why? I admit it could be a root kit, but I suspect that a program you use called IExplore to launch a URL, but fails to launch a browser window, that is why tasks of runaways.

  Your computer hardware has arrived at the stage where most of the software needs resources your machine cannot provide because it's too old. You have a few choices.

  1. Get new hardware that can handle the latest software
  2. Use a different operating system, like Linux (which is free)

  I rehabilitated an old G5 recently and it runs very well in the latest Firefox. I put Lubuntu on the machine instead the MacOS. Lubuntu (pronounced Loo-boon-two) is sort of a Ubuntu lite - a user-friendly version of Linux. There are many applications of your choice, and everything is free.

  You can also use the Ubuntu greediest in resources and a little more user-friendly, also free, but you can be more pleased with the performance of Lubuntu instead.

  The PowerPC, I did this on was one of the old blue Bondi ones. Firefox 8 had no problem to start on it at all and has all necessary plug-ins for video, audio, etc... I gave him a church and it works well for them.

  You can download older versions of Firefox, but you'll just open to security problems if you do.

  FYI: The Mac operating system is based on Linux.

  5.0 (2001) is a very old version and must be replaced.

  It depends on how you shoot the Sun.   You're focusing a lot of energy in the body of the camera, and this can generate a lot of heat.  I have a friend who observed with a safe solar filter attached to its scope... but another Member (unbnownst him) not clipped the front cover from the dust of its solar 'finder' scope.  When he did the scope at the Sun, he immedaitely broke the sons of the cross in the finder and in just a few seconds he burned a clean hole in the rear Cap (imagine if your eyeball is trying to address the issue.)

  You can try to configure the computer so that it starts cleanboot and check if it helps.

  I have the HP dm1, which is kind of a netbook. It comes with 64-bit AMD e-450 (a low-power CPU clocked at 1.6 Ghz dual core). Windows 7 starter edition is installed by default. I did a dualboot with Linux 64-bit Kubuntu. the two operating system seem to work well.

  In any case I do some tests in virtualbox and a 64-bit image requires this funciton (AMD - V) .with virtualisaiton this virtual machine can access CPU directly (rather than through software).

  However, I noticed in the bios HP recommends to avoid using it unless you use the software drive (i.e. the Oracle virtualbox). I wonder why HP advises against the use of this function? This is for security reasons? Is this because windows 7 starter edition can not handle? Or it may degrade faster hardware? or is it because of the possible extra power drain (although I have not noticed this).

  I ask because I have no such warning in BIOS of my office mashcine.

  With AMD - V active for some reason probably does increase the risk of a virus by getting direct access to the CPU. The warning is for people who wander in the BIOS and tinkering without really knowing what they are doing, to prevent consumption machines.

  When I look at V$ ARCHIVED_LOG I see seems indeed to these archived logs removed for cause of "more tag ORCL_FULL_STBY archivelog delete all entries ' that they have been deleetd after saving.

  I still don't understand why rman complains of the archived logs that are for an older sequence (SNA) as my last backup
  because I was assuming that the concerned newspapers archived should have already applied to these files of data, right?

  I found the root cause and workaround

  RMAN-06025 - RMAN RESTORE DATABASE OVERVIEW to the backup site asks former newspaper (Doc ID 1599013.1)

  CAUSE Checkpoint_change# standby controlfile not refreshed properly.  BUG 15876029 - RESTORE PREVIEW ASKING OLD ARCHIVE LOG IN STANDBY DATABASE  Closed as DUPLICATE of  BUG 8740124 - CURRENT STANDBY REDO LOG GROUP SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE DATABASE BACKUP BY RMAN SOLUTION  1) Workaround is to recreate the standby controlfile.  OR  2) upgrade to 11.2.0.4 or above where Bug 8740124  is fixed  OR  3) check for availability of patch 8740124

  My argument is either 'single', 'double' and so on to find and remove the following (the first prefix varies, of course), for example:
