Firefox runs very slowly after updating Windows 10
Saturday, December 12, 10 Windows spent an age of update itself, with several reboots. Since then, the navigation is horribly slow with Firefox, although my internet connection is always very well (fast my Smartphone using Microsoft Edge). I have two PCs, and both seem to have been affected in the same way. Using the Task Manager, I see that Firefox uses a lot of CPU most of the time - often more than 50%. Even typing and scrolling are very slow, not just downloading.
I disabled all my add-ins and plug-ins, run in safe mode, rebooted and reinstalled Firefox without result. So far, I'd say that Firefox is the fastest browser. I think that Firefox updated itself 42.0 version a few days, so I have a suspect that this slowdown has occurred just after a Windows Update.Update: Windows update itself again today and, like magic, Firefox is again well. So problem solved.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.
This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:
-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.

your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update

Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
manually by model.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Hello
More RAM generally contributes to performance, especially if you run memory intensive applications like PhotoShop.
A faster hard drive can also help as can keep it clean and defragmented. Here are some performance controls and tips to help.
Be careful that a lot of these programs and services really needs to run and often remove some

It's a little more complicated that you might have a few running services that you can do without.
Be careful by disabling a service may impact the ability of other agencies to run and cause problems of
on the road. Also some programs add services that might not really need to start automatically. You can
often these type services put manual to reduce their impact on performance. To see these compare these in Start - type in the search box-> find Services at top right click RUN AS ADMIN
to those of the default Vista as indicated here by BlackViper. Ignore and who are on the disabled (which do not run) or
Manual (which work only on request) - for any automatic or automatic delayed start you can post here if
you need help to decide if you should run. Some of these can be assigned to manual and stop so that the calling program can run them as needed.BlackViper made also some improvements to default windows services but I wouldn't do those unless you
really understand the full meaning of change a default service. Then use it as a tool to compare.Windows Services - list by default.

Why my executables LabVIEW losing features GPIB after update to 488,2 drivers
A year ago on a remote test unit, I had put in place for a production line, a worker had decided to launch National Service update of the Instruments on the test PC and update all available programs. After this update, none of the GPIB functions worked on test executable for the test of LabVIEW software. After the execution of Automation Explorer, I was able to confirm that all of the GPIB instruments were still present, operation and alias still correct. The only way I could solve this problem was by erasing all National Instruments software and put it back into place, again.
Yesterday on a local test machine is the same thing. This time 488.2 full driver package has been installed from a USB stick to update the 488,2 drivers on the machine and subsequently, none of the GPIB functions worked, causing all LabVIEW test executables to lock up. Once again, Automation Explorer shows that the GPIB instruments are installed and functioning and all aliases are always accurate. I erased all the software of NOR and reinstalled but now I stil can't get LabVIEW programs to work properly.
Someone at - it of another expereinced this problem?
What is the solution?
After thinking the problem to the remote installation, it appeared that after a year of operation, the problem occurred after update 488,2 pilots to the new version 14.0
The cure is to install the drivers of v3.1.2 previous back on the system.
I uninstalled all the software version 14 of OR out of my test PC set-up and installed the package v3.1.2 OR-488. 2 and all the executables started working again.
The Readme for VISA DURATION v14.0 says is comaptible with LabVIEW versions 2011-2014, but apparently there is a problem at least 2013 that touched me.

My computer is running very slowly and I can't figure out why.
The main problem starts when I turn on the computer and I open a session. It takes the computer 4-6 minutes just to load to the top of my main page, and if I want to do something else, it takes forever to do what I told it to.
Hello magicbrother
Here are some things to check
1 in msconfig, disable any is not necessary at first to the top. It will also tell you if something bad is there.
Start/run and type
Msconfig
Ok
Startup tab
Keep the page open then click on the link below.
http://www.SysInfo.org/StartupList.php
Read the key at the top of page. Use the search box to check all your entries
When you restart, you will get a message saying that you have begun in "Selective startup" click "don't show this message again" and then click OK
2 look for malware
Malwarebytes
http://download.CNET.com/Malwarebytes-anti-malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html3 you have all the time in the background running? If you use the automatic updates it will slow down the system. Products Norton will also slow down the machine.
4 run CCleaner
Do not use the registry cleaner. Be sure to remove all temporary files. You should do this regularly
5. go to Internet Explorer/Tools/Options/Advanced/Security
Put a check mark in the "empty temporary internet folder files when the browser is closed.
6 go to Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/view
Uncheck "automatically search for network folders and printers".
7. defrag regularly
8. uninstall all programs , you do not use/need
See if it is faster after that.

Type characters appears seconds later (for example to provide these details). Web sites load slowly.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the < shift >
(Mac options) key and then from Firefox. Is always the problem? -
Error 0x8004fe22 - computer is not running genuine Windows after update KB3035583
The statement above pretty much says it all. I removed the update and rebooted, used the PC for a few hours after without notification of validation error. Woke up this morning and went to my PC and was very disappointed to see that I still get the error.

Safari is slow and web page as amazon blocking on every click, such as clicking the photo of products. I have given up, or to stop, but nothing works. and the whole system is also slow and now I don't know how to roll back if anyone knows how to roll back please please tell me now. Thank you

Thunderbird starts slowly after update
I've recently updated Thunderbird version 31.4 and since then TB starts very slowly. What happens is that when I click on TB icon in the Quick Launch bar, the borders of tuberculosis appear but nothing else. After about 20 seconds the rest of tuberculosis appears, but until that what is happening I just the four borders around an empty space. Is there something I can do for TB take less than 30 seconds to be in place and working properly?
Out of curiosity why just the borders appear and put the empty space for 20 seconds? When your problem has been resolved, can mark this thread as "solved" Please?
Thank you.
