  I have a main menu 4 buttons. They work as expected when enable simple buttons are activated. However, when I press on test movie, 1 and 4 buttons do not work. The mouse does not change States above them, it's as if they aren't there. I've decided to re-create buttons in a separate file, and then try again. All buttons worked as expected when test movie is called. Large. Should I wear then the four buttons in my project and the same thing happens as before.   OK, I found the problem. The menu was laid out in a circular table above a large sphere. The field was in a clip. The sphere has been on the layer above the buttons. Enable authorized simple buttons the buttons hidden by the square perimeter of the clip containing the sphere to be clickable. However test movie saw the clip by concealing the buttons and their States of success, even if it was transparent. Of course the 2 Middle buttons were poking out behind the top of the clip.

  Solution, move the layer above layer movie clip buttons and hide more and click on States if the sphere appeared on top.

  If this file is there then you can list its contents?

  Note that Windows can hide the .ini file extension, so you can see only one file of profiles also the profiles folder that stores the profile folder.

• Helvetica Neue stop working when I updated to CS5.5

  I just bought CS5.5 and updgraded to CS3. When I open InDesign 5.5 to run, none of my Helvetica Neue font family works. It is by default at the time and all the files that I never created the text all the default values. Helvetica Neue is our cast of company I use 99.9% of the day. I bought the police doctor, because I assumed that there was too many versions of the same font run, a system check and clean a BUNCH of stuff. Still does not work. I have reset preferences InDesign 5.5 and still no change. I snatched the police one of our other computers and reinstalled and still does not work. In FontBook it has warnings that there are multiply copies but does not help the copies of the deactivation. Next, I opened the old 3 InDesign and here, there are all my fonts and they WORK!

  So now, I checked all my programs:

  Illustrator CS3: works

  Illustrator CS5.1: works

  My computer is a Mac 10.6.8.

  It may have been installed in the fonts for the InDesign program folder.

  UPDATE: I recently had the left and right tilt scroll wheel assigned to respectively backward and forward, and I don't remember having this problem before I did these assignments, so I changed both of these assignments to disabled to see if that makes a difference. I've also updated the Mouse Suite version 6.48 software.

  

  For further investigation:

  100% reproducible failure

  When I opened Firefox 11.0 with only one tab, the window control icons (Minimize, Maximize, Close) would correctly highlight on mouseover and works correctly when you click on it. When I then open or switch to another tab, there was no highlight on mouseover and is no longer, they responded to clicks. Other actions of the mouse work properly, including the icons of window control in other apps I tested.

  I uninstalled then reinstalled Firefox 11.0, define a new profile is empty, and the problem persisted. I checked for other reports of this problem in Firefox, and while I found a (very) few similar reports, I found that there was no evidence a general problem in Firefox.

  Successful correction

  I uninstalled ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse, mouse, Lenovo, ThinkPad UltraNav Utility, ThinkPad UltraNav Driver and rebooted, installed just the TrackPoint with the Microsoft Compatible PS/2 driver, and the problem does not recur. I think only installed two UltraNav packages with system update, then the Lenovo ThinkPad Bluetooth Laser Mouse with mouse Suite, and the problem still does not happen. It continues to operate correctly.

  My assessment

  My assessment is that something subtle had screwed up in Lenovo UltraNav and/or mouse Suite, which has been fixed by uninstalling and then reinstalling everything. I don't think that there is a problem in Firefox.

• Windows Movie Maker 6.0 Vista immediately stops working when you try to open.

  I've been all around the internet trying to solve this problem, but nothing has worked so far.  When I try to start Windows Movie Maker 6.0 for Vista, (in general), it stops working at their opening saying the following:

  "Windows Movie Maker has stopped working".

  There has been a few times when it actually opens and I can work on my videos, however, it's very, very, rare and seems to happen randomly.

  I tried to open in safe mode, but it still fails to open.  I also tried to open .avi short and simple with WMM 6.0 files to see if it will be open, but that, generally, does not either.

  Once, I was able to open random and I have disabled all the filters on the Compatibility tab and temporarily activated only video filters that I needed.  That seemed to fix the problem for several days, and I could open Movie Maker 6.0 several times.  Sometimes it would freeze everything and save, or stop working when importing video files, but at least it would be open.  I was able to record some videos.  After a few days, my computer day and WMM 6.0 is more open more.  I don't know if yes or no update is the reason why Movie Maker 6.0 started crashing again, but it was the only thing that has changed on my computer while I could uncheck the Compatibility tab filters and open WMM 6.0. [Could uncheck all filters to be part of the problem?]

  I usually works with .mov files, and I read on how this type of file sometimes causes problems with Windows Movie Maker.  However, the problem normally occurs when I try to open the program (and if WMM opens, I can very well change .mov files).  I do not think that the file type is causing the crash, but I guess that's always a possibility...

  I also read that sometimes Windows Movie Maker 6.0 for vista doesn't work with all computers that have vista installed, and Windows Movie Maker 2.6 must be used to place.  Windows Movie Maker 2.6 is working fine on my computer, but it cannot change the .mov files, or record in HD.  I had horribly degrading the quality of the video with the conversions of files to use WMM 2.6.  Windows Movie Maker 6.0 is much better, on the rare occasions that it works.  Do you think I should use Windows Movie Maker 2.6 now?

  Here are two problem reports that appear more often when you try to open Windows Movie maker 6.0.  The window of support almost always said I need to update my computer again (even if there is no new update), or that it is a problem of security Data Execution Prevention.  Windows Movie Maker cannot be added to the list of exceptions to Data Execution Prevention, or I can check to see if the filters from the Compatibility tab are always disabled in the program, I don't know how to solve this problem...

  The "BEX" error happens much more frequently than the "APPCRASH" error  In addition, I have Windows Vista home premium installed and a 32-bit operating system.  I don't know how to read the problem reports, or if it's all the information you need.  I'm not very good with computers at all the...   Very often, but not always, Code exception: c0000005 is a permissions access error, so have you tried right-clicking on the MM shortcut or .exe and selecting the option "Run As Administrator"?  Other times a reinstallation of the program crash can fix.  As you can not do with Movie Maker the next best option is to try the System File Checker.

  On my Portege Z830-10F wireless stops working when I plug in a device on the USB 3 port. The wireless connection back upwards as soon as I remove the device.

  This problem only occurs when something is connected to the USB 3 port. The USB 2 ports on the rear do not have the problem.

  I see that I ve got the latest drivers installed on the wireless LAN card and the usb host controller 3.

  The problem arises as well on windows 7 and windows 8 pro. I used the wizard to upgrade Toshiba upgrade of windows 7 to windows 8.

  This problem is present since I got this laptop. I ve already done a reinstall / recovery back to the original with windows configuration 7 but this doesn´t solve the problem.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  Unless you fully active 'find my Mac' BEFORE that your mac has been stolen, it can't do anything for you now. It is not active, and there is no way to make it active after the fact.
