Why my iphone 6 becomes hot and drains the battery faster after updating ios 9.2?

After upgrading my iphone 6 the new 9.2 IOS recently, I experienced some problems about heating problems and deplete the battery faster.

Can someone please look at my post and help me?

I have the same problem. Immediately after the update of this week my iPhone 6 has started to go crazy - overheating until it was rude to hold and the battery drains completely in the course of an hour or two. Problem continued for two days now. I tried a reset (holding down power and front button) and I thought that this had contributed, but as soon as I used any application the phone started its tumble again. Probably overheating is caused by the CPU to do something, but I can't say what. This doesn't seem to be a problem with a specific application - any activity seems to he left. It was working perfectly normally until the 9.2 update.

  • (Redirected) Reference DELL 5547 Fan starts while that closed down and drains the battery at 0%, especially may not wake from sleep

    Hello

    When I turn off my laptop the fan starts to spin then and during a night, it drains the battery from 100% to 0. I also have some problems of marketing. If the computer is in sleep mode itself or by me, I can't wake up, need button for 10 seconds and then push again and it starts. When turned on, it works perfectly but has these problems. I read somewhere that the resolution of these problems has been to remove the software intel from my computer and I did. It helped but 2 days computer started having these problems again. My system is Windows 7 64 bit. This problem started after that I have somehow left fully charged computer asleep on the charger for about 2 hours. When I came back fan was spinning and the right side of the laptop was hot. Again, battery life is great and computer has no defects during the work (all tests by dell are passed). What can you suggest me to do?

    can someone please help I really need my email, bbm and whatsapp return

    Hello and welcome to the community!

    Based on your description, I would deduct low or weak signal from your mobile service provider. Digital devices to modulate their energy consumption depending on the strength of the signal they receive from the Tower of the carrier. Low quality/signal strength, higher battery drain. For good check, you need to contact your mobile service provider, because it is the network, which is the cause. It is possible to have a few problems in the areas that you are in.

    You might also try to start in Safe Mode, to remove all applications 3rd automatic launch party (even if you do not see them in the AppSwitcher Ribbon, they can run):

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

    It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

    If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

    But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

  • External display on HDMI overheating my Mac and drains the battery badly

    Hey guys.

    I am using a MBP retina 2012 15 inches with an external monitor, a generic LCD 1080 p via HDMI without problems. And recently updated for Sierra.

    The question starts immediately when I plug it into the screen. The Macbook seems to overheat and run fans above 4000 rpm, which is very audible and boring. CPU and GPU temperatures go above 70 degrees C (normally they make 50 +). The battery holds for only 1.5 hours, generally works well for 4-5 hours.
    I tried killing all apps, followed a bad process in activity monitor, changing default resolution - nothing helps so far. The CPU is barely used by 10%, the memory pressure is fine.
    It's just that time when I plug the screen - Mac starts bad feeling. Never, the problem occurred on El Capitan. Maybe it's a GPU problem, but certainly caused by the OS.
    All the world had the same problem?

    Try resetting the NVRAM (hold down the command-option-P-R on startup).

    Also, try to restart in Mode without failure, then normally again.

    Finally, try logging into your account, sign in to a user account (or the guest account) and connect the external display. Same problem? If it works fine for a new account then it's something in your own account which is the cause - perhaps an element of connection or some other system changes induced by the operating system previous and who does not play nice with Sierra.

  • MacBook air only 8 months. Fan of work strongly and draining the battery. Do you have any troubleshooting. Pls help.

    My Macbook Air is only 8 months old. I only use it for word processing and surfing the internet. Yesterday, it started to make a noise maybe the fan. I've done all the troubleshooting steps described in Apple and to other useful sites, but nothing helped. Is it still fixable? What could be wrong?  Is this laptop still under vices? Please help as soon as possible. Thank you.

    This laptop is still under warranty.

    It may be a problem with the fan, but it can also be a problem of some adware or other infections.

    It would be useful to find when you download the application Etrecheck of etrecheck.com well known information

    It produces a list, you can share it to the clipoard and paste here.

  • BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphones keep closing and drains the battery.

    I'm new to this forum, so if this problem has been discussed and resolved, I apologize. My Bold 9700 guard dying and closing unexpectedly. It takes forever so he can start up (flashing red light).  Sometimes I even remove the battery to get a reaction. When the loading bar ends & comes back from the screen, the battery is completely dead, even if it was at least half full before that happened.  BTW, this has happened several times with my old battery so I bought a new OEM battery.  It's happened twice since then.  Stranger still, when I was with a friend today, his "BOLD" does exactly the same thing.  That is what it is?

    Your phone is obviously having software problems.  As such, you must reload the operating system of your phone.  Any other suggestion is just going to skirt the issue; You must get the brain of your charge phone.

    To do this, connect your phone to your PC and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Click the device in the upper part of the software and then update.

    If your phone does not connect to the BDS, take a look at this article from RIM:

  • iPhone 6 Plus the screen freezes after updating iOS 9.3.1

    I'm usually pretty lucky with the iOS updates, but as title the thread, just after the 9.3.1 update was on my iPhone 6, the touch screen now hangs at random times. I am a heavy user environment and this annoying screen freeze occurs at least twice a day, sometimes as much only 7 or 8 times with only hard buttons (home, power, volume) still operate. This never happened before the update, and the only issue is the soft reset option (home + power buttons). It is not only located in some applications, but it seems to be all that touch.

    This becomes a real pain in the neck, especially when you write an e-mail or a text message with no way to save what is already written by copy - paste, I need of course the touchscreen to do. Is anyone else facing the same issue after than the iOS put 9.3.1 to level, and are there possible, patches although I strongly suspect that it is a software problem that only Apple can sort with a patch update?

    Thank you.

    In my opinion I press my home button and wait for the blade to the turning off the option to display, then hold the button of your hold until turning the option off slider disappears. (This clears your cache).

  • Battery and Wifi info not displayed after updating IOS 10

    After upgrading to IOS 10 I have more information at the top of my home screen line. He comes to the line with WiFi, battery, and other info. I see it if I open an application, only some however. This status being lost, it is difficult to look at the life of the battery.

    How do I turn it back on?

    If it cannot be enabled by the user, then Apple needs to bring him back.

    David

    Hello! You can activate the in your settings. Go to battery and select on the percentage. The other options that are displayed on this bar, you can also turn on in general settings. Make sure that the WIFI is enabled in the settings. I had this happen before. After trying your settings, if you still do not see the bar with all the status restart the device. If it still does not work, you can try to recover the device on iTunes. The last resort would be to call the Apple support. I'll try to fix it in the settings that the lines may be busy.

  • iPhone 5 s no ring or vibrate for calls after update IOS 10

    I have a 5 s iPhone that worked perfectly for over 2 years until I've done 10 IOS updated.  Now it won't ring or vibrate for incoming calls.  It will give sound advice for all applications, but not the phone.  I checked the switch on the side, the sound settings, the mute under accessibility, do not disturb and alert by phone settings.  Everything is as it should be to have audibles.  This phone was in a box of Otter for protection since I got it.  Any ideas of what anything else I could do to fix this?  Miss me him each call unless I happen to look at the screen.

    Have you tried to change the ringtone in the sounds? Try using set a different ringtone temporarily. In addition, with the phone unlocked, press the volume buttons on the side and see what shows on the home screen. You see the volume and it does not show ring or something else? You use a custom or purchased ringtone, or a ringtone native iOS? Some people have reported problems of ringtone on various devices when you try to use the House or purchased made ringtones.

    Since I upgraded to surveys last BBM, where voice chat has been installed, my phone freezing guard and the two mobile network and wifi connection keeps failing. My phone is set to favorite wifi. I also find that my battery drains faster since the update. I'm a fan of BB, but it's very annoying. Is it possible that I can remove voice chat? • Drain the battery... need some advice

    I have an application that runs in the background and runs at every 15,30,60 min based on what the user has configured for. I made a quick call to a Web site gets a little info and then farm the connection. I have a realtimeclocklistener to track the number of minutes configuration is passed since the last update.

    The problem is the same when it is updated every 60 minutes just, he sits there and drains the battery life. Also the connection arrows top right will go up randomly even after that he made the update. I don't know if it's just consciousness or if that is the question.

    Here is the code I am accounting for the data

        public void retrieveData(){
            //Vars
            HttpConnection httpConn = null;
            OutputStream os = null;
            DataInputStream is = null;
            StringBuffer sb = null;
            String separator = "|";
            int chr;
            int index;
            synchronized(this){
                try{
                    httpConn = (HttpConnection)Connector.open(myURL, Connector.READ);
                    httpConn.setRequestMethod(HttpConnection.GET);
                    httpConn.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", "text/plain");
                    if(httpConn.getResponseCode() == HttpConnection.HTTP_OK){
                        //Vars
                            os = httpConn.openOutputStream();
                            os.flush();
                            sb = new StringBuffer();
                            is = httpConn.openDataInputStream();
                            while ((chr = is.read()) != -1) { sb.append((char) chr); }
                            String response = new String(sb.toString().getBytes(),"UTF-8");
                            Vector nodes = new Vector();
                            index = response.indexOf(separator);
                        //Code
                        while(index>=0) {
                            nodes.addElement( response.substring(0, index) );
                            response = response.substring(index+separator.length());
                            index = response.indexOf(separator);
                        }
                        nodes.addElement( response );
                        String[] result = new String[ nodes.size() ];
                        if( nodes.size()>0 ) {
                            for(int loop=0; loop

    I watched a lot of samples and other code online, and I don't see anything wrong with my code.

    Any help will be much appreciated.

    That everything seems OK to me.  I would be very surprised if this empty code battery a lot, especially if he did invoke every 60 minutes.  Sure that it does not have anything in your RealtimeClockListener you treat?  Also makes the Thread performing the closing down?  It would seem that you could drive this treatment completely out of the RealtimeClockListener, just start the Thread when you want.  If you did that, then I think that your application would have a minimal impact on the battery.
