  • Firefox hangs for a few seconds when you try to suspend videos or skip commercials on Youtube.

    Hi all!

    My problem is that YouTube freezes for a few seconds when I try to put a video on a break or skip or run advertisements. The video freezes while the sound continues to play until, at the end of say 5 seconds, youtube is finally what I tell it to do.

    This does not occur if the video is embedded on another website, nor is it on Vimeo, Dailymotion etc. I can play YouTube videos perfectly when you use Chrome, IE and Windows 8 Youtube application that I have.

    After the first freeze all commands start works great, at least until I've opened a new video.

    I noticed that many people are having problems with youtube while using firefox and I have tried a few things:
    -uninstalling and reinstalling flash and java
    -from Firefox in safe mode
    -using the different antivirus software
    -Reinstall Firefox

    I read that this could be a problem with the whole Google being all buddy-buddy with Adobe thing, but I'm skeptical.

    So, is it possible to get YouTube working properly?

    Thank you!

    You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
    • Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

    Hello

    I have problem with my laptop.
    From time to time the screen greyed out for a few seconds and restore again.
    It is not serious laptop runs on battery or plugged in.

    Can someone give me an advice?

    Hello

    Theoretically, it could be just a problem of software; for example, display driver starts to do strange things in this case, that I recommend the update or reinstall the display driver to check if it could contribute

    But it could also be a hardware problem; FL-inverter
    FL inverter is a small part that controls the backlight so theoretically, it could also be the FL inverter malfunction, but that's just my guess
    This should be checked by a technician for more information.

    I have had a look and it seems that your model does not use technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology. However, I can cheat me so check your event log for the error I described in my first post. If you have cleared your newspapers, wait for the problem to appear once more and then check again. If you do not see the error that this correction will not help you (application do nothing other that add clutter to your registry).

    A bit of history...

    Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) added originally entered in the registry during installation. Since version 10, Intel changed the application to use the settings by default, embedded in the program - registry entries are no longer used by default. However, TSRI seems to check the entries and if necessary, he would use. The problem arises that if version 10 is a new installation and the default settings do not meet your equipment needs. When this is the case, you might well live temporary blockage. It wasn't a problem if you upgraded of course you would have entries in your registry database.

    The solution is to simply add the appropriate entries.

    It is an export of the Scriptures that I added:

    ----------------

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\iaStor\Parameters]

    "BusType" = dword:00000003

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\iaStor\Parameters\Port0]

    "LPM" = DWORD: 00000000

    "LPMSTATE" = DWORD: 00000000

    "MISCONDUCT" = DWORD: 00000000

    "LPMDSTATE" = DWORD: 00000000

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\iaStor\Parameters\Port1]

    "MISCONDUCT" = DWORD: 00000000

    "LPM" = DWORD: 00000000

    "LPMDSTATE" = DWORD: 00000000

    "LPMSTATE" = DWORD: 00000000

    ----------------

    Copy the lines between the '-' (but do not include them).

    Paste it into a text file and finally, change the .txt .reg file type

    Double-click the file and follow the instructions to add to the registry.

    Note that I have included the second entry (Port1) because I have a DVD player. Honestly, I don't know if I needed to do.

    You should try this? Well, that's a decision for you! You can do a bit of reading (or a lot!) on the Intel site to better understand.

    All I can really tell you is that I had the problem of gel (10 to 20 seconds or more) as well as the error in the log. After I made the registry changes I have * never * had a freezing episode since. Nor I have seen the error reappears in my journal.  My machine (M5-581TG) is lightning fast, so I'm more than happy that the fix has had no adverse effect.

    Finally, if you decide to give it a go, I'd say you first check your registry database, and if you can't find this entry, export them before you add mine so you can put back them if need be.

  • CC 2015 Multicam freezes for a few seconds each time I pass cameras

    I am modifying a project of 4 cameras multicam in 2015 CC and whenever I click on a camera or select a camera with the keyboard shortcuts, reading about all the cameras freezes for a few seconds, then starts again. Audio playback is not interrupted. Of course, this is a very frustrating issue because I didn't happen on other projects making, and it is impossible to cut quickly from the camera to the camera when I don't see what I am cutting. It should not be a performance issue because the media on the SSD internal and rendered and replacement with Cineform has no effect on the issue.

    Turned off the coast of GPU acceleration reading the parameters of the project and the problem has been resolved.

  • Why Adobe Acrobat hangs for a few seconds when first creating text box?

    I use Adobe Acrobat Pro 11.0.11.

    Usually, whenever I do the first text box after awhile since I finally used Adobe, it hangs for 5 seconds. Would it be a matter of Adobe or a hardware problem?

    These symptoms result from a combination of the internal architecture of Acrobat and your hardware configuration.

    When the first load of Acrobat when you explicitly call Acrobat or when you double-click a PDF file, only the minimum part of the program which is required to view a PDF file is initially loaded into memory. This excludes the required modules to support the myriad of features that supports Acrobat, including forms, preflight, signatures, editing PDF files, etc. What if all the code needed to be charged at time of initial start Acrobat, that the starting time would be too long! However, this additional code is loaded as needed. It is the reason why you see the delay of the first time you create a text box and not for the following text boxes.

    In addition, when you close your last document, Acrobat isn't immediately shutdown. For example, if you double-click a PDF file for a short time after you think that acrobat is is no longer running, it quickly shows your PDF file and even the creation of the first text box will not only delay you previously registered.

    This brings the question of how can you minimize the delay? There are several factors at work here. The first is the amount of memory real you have on your system. If you have many programs running and not a lot of memory, you end up with a virtual memory with the page fly resultant defects requiring operations on disc for you get the memory required by Acrobat and program memory pages that are stored on the disk. Then of course, the speed of your disks makes a difference both dealing with management as well as the portions remaining Acrobat loading of virtual memory needed for editing functions you call. A disk 5400 RPM is much slower than a 7200 RPM drive, which in turn is very slow compared to a SSD (solid state disk). And if you do not have a SSD and your magnetic disk drive is fragmented, more disk performance suffers. Bottom line is that adequate main memory and a disk capacity and speed higher will help. And if your drive is not an SSD, defragment your drive on a regular basis.

    PS: Protected mode or repair your installation of Acrobat are irrelevant here!

  • PC hangs for a few seconds, and then return as normal and fast as always, no reports of any problems in the operating system.

    Hello world

    I have a Vista Ultimate SP2 system and all updates, my hardware is an AMD Athlon 64 x 2 3.2 Ghz with a RAID 0 (2 discs), 4 GB of RAM, video memory shared up to 1 GB, Asus M2A-VM Motherboard.

    My problem is that sometimes when you work with any my computer shutdown application package to meet any keyboard or mouse control for 2-3 seconds and suddenly come back with tasks in the queue and fast as usual.

    I've updated my Chipset and RAID drivers.

    I uninstalled ASUS ACPI Center who could be one of the causes of this problem, rename the executable to Center asus acpi.

    I ran TuneUp Disk Doctor to verify my RAID and fix problems

    I update and updated my Antivirus ESET Smart Security in order to improve the performance of the process EKRN who sometimes take a large part of the time CPU.

    Can someone advice me how track and what tools to use to run a diagnosis of systemd and check if my problem is with the hardware or the operating system?

    Kind regards.

    JUOX.

    Run process monitor. Stop the trace when your problem occurs. Look through the timestamps of the gaps.

  • What would make my firewall turn off for a few minutes every time I turn on the computer.

    Whenever I turn on my laptop, the red icon shows in the task bar telling me that the windows firewall is disabled. I click on the ball and at the time that Security Center opens the firewall is turned back on. Anyone know why this is happening?

    I appreciate all help. Thank you

    Hi SuePerry,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

    Method 1: You can run the fix it from the link below and check if it helps.

    Diagnose and automatically fix problems of Windows Firewall service

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/windows_firewall_diagnostic/en-us?EntryPoint=lightbox

    Method 2: If the method above does not help, then you can refer to the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article and check.

    You cannot enable or disable the Windows Firewall setting on a Windows XP Service Pack 2

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/914230

    Note: The firewall is software or hardware that checks information coming from the Internet or a network. Firewall blocks some information or allows information to pass to your computer. If the information is blocked or passed through depends on your firewall settings. A firewall can prevent malicious software (such as worms) to access your computer through a network or the Internet. A firewall can also help stop your computer from malware sent to other computers.

    Let us know if it helps.

  • My computer hangs for 15-20 seconds many times throughout the day, suggestions to fix this?

    It seems no matter what I do on the computer, it will freeze for 10-15 seconds at a time, then run again the OK for a bit, then gel to the top.  This happens continuously throughout the day.  Any suggestions on what could happen?  I ran checks on the computer, but all system controls came out OK.

    It could be a sub-process or application that runs in the background
    and taking all the CPU resources.

    To find and view what could be the problem, try Process Explorer:

    Once you have Process Explorer installed and running:
    In the task bar, select view and check:
    'Show the process tree' and the options 'display the lower pane '.
    Move the cursor of your mouse over any column in the right pane and
    Make a right click and check the following boxes:
    "Command line" and "Version".
    Then expand the process named "Explorer" (click the plus sign +)
    In the left named "CPU" column, look for any high CPU usage.
    Then click on the CPU column to sort processes by CPU usage %
    (Highest to lowest).

    You can also hover and check any spike point or up/down in the chart of the CPU.

    Move the cursor of the mouse on any process,
    You should see a pop-up window with some detailed info.
    Then the mouse on the process using most or all the CPU %.
    Then click on this process to select,
    Now that it is highlighted, right click and select the options listed:
