Why my MacOS Sierra shows a purchase date of January 1, 2000?

I installed Sierra, but it does not appear in my purchases. When I go to the website of Mac to look at the new features of the Sierra, it gives me a page that I need to install the Sierra, as if it does not recognize that I have. I downloaded it again, but when I saw the date of purchase from January 1, 2000. Is my oldest purchase of 2011. So think the app purchase history does not as far to 2000, so does not appear. I think it will be a problem, if my purchases do not reflect that I have Sierra. How can this be repaired?

Hi there, HMILLER75. Thank you for using communities of support from Apple!

It seems that if you get a reminder that there is not actually on your MacBook Pro, which has been upgraded to macOS Sierra. You have made a huge step in troubleshooting, but since it did not help I have a few extra steps for you.

With the reminders on your Mac app, close it using the Menu option (callbacks > reminders Quit) then hold down the SHIFT key left while the reopening of reminders to clear the cache.

Safe mode try if your Mac does not start -is not only recommended safe mode when your Mac is not put into market, it also erases the system caches and certainty that your Mac starts correctly.

These steps should clear reminders inhabiting not actually on your Mac. Have a great day!

Once I afp: on a local computer, it appears on the side bar of the Finder under shared devices, well I saw several times it appears and then disappears. Nothing has changed on the network since the installation of Sierra.

  • On macOS Sierra - Parallels Desktop 12 - error unable to load Parallels driver - error ID 352

I have updated at 10.12 some weeks ago, with no problems.

I used 10 Parallels and put Windows 7 access every day. My Mac software was 100% up-to-date.

After a few weeks, I started Windows and Parallels showed the error "Failed to load the driver" and KB Parallels, I found that I may need to upgrade. As I was planning to upgrade anyway, I upgraded to Parallels 12 and got the same error.

I contacted Parallels support - they responded with this:

Failed to load Parallels driver. Problem ID: 352

The problem is in the bundle /System/Library/Extensions/IOPCIFamily.kext from Apple. In the bundle's info.plist is damaged due to some reasons.

Is anyone able to help please?

    Thank you.

It is a user to user forum, not a team of Apple Support forum. In any event, it sounds like a problem of Parallels as it is unlikely that multiple versions of the operating system have defective or damaged kernel extensions.

For what it's worth, I use Parallels 11 without problem on macOS Sierra to access Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows XP64, Windows 7 and Windows 10 of virtual machines. I think you should go back to parallels Support. I've avoided Parallels 12 because of all the problems users are reporting

  • 9.0 schedule search in macOS Sierra

I ve made just the switch to macOS Sierra on my 2014 27 "iMac and not only love him but they were"lucky"so far: everything (apart from a few little niggles in Photoshop CS6) works well. But in the calendar, I have several entries and events dating back to the 1990s that I still sometimes have to find. But rummaging through the won´t calendar show anything more than 1 year away, which is very frustrating! Someone knows how to help me, or is this a limitation of the I´ll calendar just to live with? I like using Mac calendar for its simplicity, clean up the GUI and the perfectly in-sync with my iPhone and Don t want to use a third-party program such as Fantastical or BusyCal. EtreCheck shows no problem and performance "excellent".  Thank you very much for any help offered!

You need to re-index your Spotlight cache files. Some users have had to re-index the calendar items. However, before you start trying to bugs, if your calendars are synchronized, you can try to remove the addition. System Preferences > iCloud, clear the calendar check box, and then add it again. Give it time to delete files.

Check first under the Privacy tab in Spotlight. If the boot volume, or any volume where your data resides is listed, remove the. Spotlight will begin immediately the amount of indexing. Check back later and you should be able to find the items in Spotlight.

HOW DO I RE-INDEX YOUR SPOTLIGHT CACHE FILES

In the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.

    * Click on the projector.

Make this mail and Messages is enabled on the results tab of research.

    * Click on the Privacy tab.

    * Drag your player to the list. Wait a few minutes.

    * Remove the item you added.

    * Projector will be re - index the content of the element that you initially dragged to the list.

Probably not necessary, but I would immediately leave the Terminal and restart your Mac.

    SUMMARY:

Depending on your Mac and the contents of his hard drive, the re-indexing may take several hours. This night is a good option if you have a large drive.

Open the activity monitor in Applications/Utilities and type md in the search filter. You should see several mdworker who are active processes.

Until this process is complete, Spotlight will not know the contents of your discs and will not send mail.

    With Calendar.app quit...

Go to the library to the user (see below)

    Scroll to the calendars folder

    Delete these files:

    Cache calendar

    Calendar Cache-shm

    Calendar Cache-wal

    Open the calendar & test

Library of the user to see the

The user library folder is hidden by default. In the unhide: select the Finder in the Dock. Less go in the Menu bar > hold down the Option key and you will see the library.

  • macOS Sierra - calendar Agent Crash

I installed macOS Sierra on my MBP 8.3 (17 "end 2011) - 16 GB of RAM. 1 TB SSD.

After you have identified a problem with a Logitech mouse driver (and delete) I stopped for a few days to attend to other things.

    2. the problem that won't go away, it's with the agent of the calendar.  He has appeared as a couple of notifications - a single event, reminder of a task.  I rejected the two of them, but they came back several times.  The console log shows the following:

  • Two questions with Siri on macOS Sierra (voice quality and call sheet)

I am having several problems with Siri on macOS Sierra...

    (1) the voice is of poor quality. I know that when you upgrade first, you get low quality voice until he had the opportunity to download the high quality voices, but I waited a week and even re-installed Mac OS several times, and I always get low quality voice. Even if I change voice in system preferences. I have macOS Sierra installed on my Macbook w/retina, and the voice quality is infinitely superior. Apple sugarcoat it on older Mac? I don't know that my 4-core i7 is well able to use the voice of the highest quality.

    (2) when I ask him to show my business address, or ask who my brother or finance is, she is confused, as if he can't read my card contact properly. The exact same contact card works fine on iOS 10. I tried turning off the Contacts in iCloud parameters and reactivated so he would be re - download, but it continues to provide partial information of the card. For example, for addresses, they go up like OTHER and display only the city and State, even though I have a full home address listed. I disconnected and connected as my fiancee, and his works fine.

    Thank you

    Dave

Just a quick update - after deleting my contacts, reassignment to a new contact using "Make my contact" (which seems buggy btw - seems not stick) reinstall macOS Sierra twice, disabling iCloud, tilting and contacted him and Siri, etc. etc., it turns out that he was using a contact to my account (?) card, even if I didn't 'Calendar' selected in my Google account. I removed Google in my list of Internet accounts in Preferences system (along with a few others), and now it's using the new map that I created in iCloud. It's weird that it would give priority to my Google account on my iCloud account so much, especially since I have not yet activated contacts?

Still need to understand why the high quality voices will not download.

  • MacBook Pro crashed after update to macOS Sierra

After I tried to update my MacBook Pro for macOS Sierra, this screen came:

In case you can't read it, it says "apple.com/support-1007F'.

After restart my MacBook Pro, he asked for my Wi - Fi connection information, so I typed in it and it showed a loading bar. Then came to this screen:

I didn't know which option to choose, what is called Apple Care to help make a choice. They said to choose 'Reinstall OS X' so I did. Then my screen says something like "click and drag to the browser that you want to download in" but nothing has popped up.

I don't know what is happening with my computer. Hard drive failure? This update was not the largest update so I don't know why all this is happening.

If you have any ideas or solutions, please respond! That would be incredible!

    Thank you guys!

It seems that your Mac can not find the system disk. It seems that the drive has failed and your Mac is now in recovery mode.

  • iPod nano 5 with MacOS Sierra

I use the latest version of MacOS Sierra (10.12) in my MBPmid14. However, I found that the iPod Nano 5 I have is not recognized by the computer. It loads, but it does not sync. One of you have the same problem?

I have not used this iPod in some time, including synchronization and load. I have an XtremeMac charging cable.

Is what the iPod is too old and too recent software, cable has problems (it has synchronized before) or something in the settings prevents the synchronization?

I use a 5th generation iPod nano, and it works fine with the latest version of the OS and iTunes.

When you connect it, look at the screen of the iPod.  He said initially 'Connected' (to indicate a data connection)?  Or does only show the symbol of battery?

  • Slow download of macOS Sierra

Download started MacOS Sierra this morning at 9:00 CDT.  It is now 17:15 and always shows the estimated 9 hours and 30 minutes download time.  Why is it so much to take?

It is possible that the Apple servers are simply overloaded with all the download requests. Just let it continue, or try again at another time.

  • Unable to Scan to the computer after downloading macOS Sierra. Is this a software problem?

How can I scan from HP Envy 4500 to computer after downloading macOS Sierra?

    Hello wdemetris,

Thanks for asking for scanning helps here in the Apple Support communities. I understand how it is important to have access to your scanner and am happy to offer help for this.

As a precaution, we always recommend that you have backups to make sure that all your data is safe. You can perform a backup using Time Machine and an external hard drive. Use this article to help make a backup of your Mac: use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac.

Then, in accordance with article help: printer and scanner for Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, and the Mavericks macOS software, the HP Envy 4500 e-all-in-one is supported for printing and scanning. The drivers must be installed, but if not, if it please go to the App Store and check the updates tab to see if there are updates for HP. If there is, please install.

If you have only general questions about how to get your updated scanner in place or how to scan pictures, please check out these two articles: macOS Sierra: implement a scanner & macOS Sierra: scan images or documents. If everything is configured correctly and you still have problems scanning, please visit this help article: macOS Sierra: scanning troubleshooting.

Thanks again and have a great rest of your day.
