Why not wrapping text around this line?

New in InDesign and I do not know how to set the text to move away from this line. (I'll put up a page to look like his notes and the reference line). I don't have only one layer. I might add manually enters the text, but I think I should be able to define an object for this style. Thanks for the tips!

That's the problem. Not wrapping text in a cell. The table itself acts as an inline character and will try to wrap up, but I guess that there not enough room in its text block parent to move a lot. What led you to set your type of a single-celled table?

    Amy,

You must place the image in the text box to wrap around him, or a heavier way test, you can use text several boxes and place them strategically around the image, but if you want to hyperlink the image you have to place it inside the text box and you can not overlap images and text in e-mail boxes.

    Hope this helps,

How to wrap text around a race?

I did all the standard thing and it works a little, but not really... for example I 'flamed' stroke and text does not hold well with this wave, it fits as if it were a normal flat line.

    Any ideas?

Of course, it does. After using the wrap around the form, use the WHITE pointer to adjust the curves he creates.

  • Wrap text around an image off the beaten path

Is it possible to wrap text around an image that is not placed inside the text box? When a column of text image overlays only partially?

    Hi Sascha,

You should be able to achieve the desired effect by placing the image inside the box and giving a compensation of the negative film.

The picture will overlap with text partially and skin will still work.

  • wrapping text around tables

I can't wrapping text around a table.  When I select both and click on skin that text wraps not and the table moves down inside the box.  I want the text to be sent back to the top and the left side of the table.

What version of ID do you use? Is your table in its own block of text or anchored in the structure with the text you're trying to wrap? I have a problem with either the scenario... Apply your scarf to the table only.

  • Cannot wrap text around object! AAAARRRRGGGGHHH!

I am trying to wrap text around an image jpeg, but every time that nothing happens. I also noticed that whenever I have create a sublayer and attempt to place the derect under the jpeg format layer text is on, HAVE invariably creates a layer named "type" directly above the layer of jpeg. Should the two layers be selected before giving the command of film text object? Or another solution?

This is the jpeg format that you apply dressing and you must have the type of area as well. You probably use typographic points.

Cut the text from the text path, and then create a block of text to the width, you want text and paste the text know to place the block of text in box behind the jpeg.

    See all right.

Here, there is no type nothing to do!

  • Is it possible to wrap text around a picture in E-mail FF/Thunderbird?

Is it possible to wrap text around an image during the composition of the email in Firefox / Thunderbird on Linux Mint OS?

I don't know what Firefox has to do with the e-mail...

In Thunderbird, if you dial using HTML and use Insert | Image, the appearance tab seems to offer text packaging options.

If you don't see the Menu bar, hold down ALT, press v and under the toolbars ICT the menu bar check box.

I have never used myself these packaging options, so I can't speak for how well they might work.

  • wrapping text around the picture shape?

    Hello

Is there a way to wrap text around the shape itself instead of the square box outline taking into the (t-shirt) form of packaging? For example, can I change the blue square in the form of outline that runs along the t-shirt...

As a separate matter, I wanted the photo box to overlap the text box , but it seems that the box art to be wrapped must be 100% inside a text box so that the function of wrap to work?  My main problem is the first question. Thank you.

    Hello

Unfortunately, support of the browser for the wrapping of text around non-rectangular forms is quite limited (see http://webplatform.adobe.com/shapes/).

For your second question, please try setting wrap compensates from the Layout Panel.

  • How do I properly wrapped text around (of a line below)?

I'm working on my first document InDesign (a resume), and I have trouble getting the text to wrap properly under a line that I inserted. The text is either not at all packed and thus crosses the line slightly (which is obviously not desirable) or it is wrapped and is too low below the line, even with the offset to zero. How can I get the text to sit just below the line?

    1.JPG2.JPG

Looks like you tried to control spacing with different values of foreground.

In the screenshot below I have reset the leader for the frame to Auto, and then set a space before that paragraph as formatting local (as I said above it would be better to implement the styles for this) do not take into account the missing font...

  • How to wrap text around the anchored object (image)

I quickly started to get account that I am not the mental giant I had previously thought!

Having recently made the switch to InDesign, I fight to pick up some of the different methodologies, and more still, the different jargon.

I read the section guide from Adobe on this request, and I feel none the wiser is. I'm sorry to you guys with what is probably a very trivial question for users over three years, but let's go even of evil.

I am trying to anchor the image object in a block of text, with the image of the text wrapping. While it seems to be in my ability to insert the object and to wrap the text, I have real problems to anchor this object in the right place.

What I'm trying to look like this: -.

    Screen Shot 2015-12-31 at 1.14.52 PM.png

Can anyone please help me, a simple "idjit" way how to do this?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    See you soon... Scotty

If the image is placed on the page:

Drag the symbol at the top right in a paragraph before that the first line is ignored when the text is wrapped.

I suggest to save all the settings (wrapping text, the position of an object of anchroed, etc.) in the Styles of an object as it makes it easier to do global settings later.

  • How can I wrap text on several lines when make an editable PDF file?

I'm transforming shape study guide PDF in a document that can be typed directly to. Some questions have multiple answers lines, so when I convert the shape into something editable, she designs each as separate individual line entry. I want to be able to type on one line and that the text wrap down to the other lines. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Here is an example...

How am I able to get the text typed in these 4 lines to wrap to the next line?

    Thank you

Edit: If I can't do this in Acrobat DC, is there any other software do know you who can afford to do this?

You can use a single multi-line text field. Just remove the three substantive fields, make the upper field taller, then tab of the field properties dialog box Options, select the option "multiline". If the underlying form lines, set the background color to white to only show through, since they will probably not match line spacing. You may be able to set the font size to fit well.
