Why NOT write the TAG ID information for the associated file? Windows Media Player 12

I don't like iTunes and WMP12 looks worse.  Here's my problem...

I edit the media information (sing or film etc...) by changing some information tag - track number, title etc...  Even when I select "Apply media information changes" in the "menu to organize the information of the tag does not change when I watch it by clicking the file and selecting Properties."  What gives?  I won't waste my time making sure that everything is organized and labeled correctly just so that WMP not attached this information in a file.  What worries me is that when I import the songs to another PC then all these information is lost.
For example, I change the title of the track (you will need to change the title of the track, so WMP it sorts correctly because it does not support CD # in a multiple-CD box set)
CD1 Title track 1
CD1 Title track 2
...
CD2 Title track 1
CD2 Title track 2
...
When I look at the file - nothing changes - UG!

It sounds just like my question, so yesterday, I created a thread. I understand that it's quite old but thought if someone clicks on this thread, I might as well try and provide a response.

  • Why can't synchronize a digital copy for my psp to Windows media player

I thought I could use my psp to use digital copies, I've had with the movies that I bought. is there a way to make it work or is it just not possible?

    Hello

Have you received an error message?

I am sorry to say that this question is out of our support. In fact, it is supported by Sony. I suggest you to contact Sony support. However, you can try the following basic steps, but if the problem persists, please contact you Sony for support.

Here are the steps through which you can sync your music from media player to Player Playstation Portable:

1 USB cable to hook between the PSP and the PC.

    2. on the PSP under settings, select USB connection.

    3. your Vista PC should recognize that the PSP is connected. The PSP should be displayed "USB Mode".

    4. on the PC to add music on the removable drive that represents your memory stick PSP. Put the music in the music folder.

You can also go through the following steps:

Step 1: Connect the portable music player to the computer via the USB port. MP3 players and other devices notebooks, all updates have this ability, which is scheduled to manage multimedia files easily.

Step 2: Open Windows Vista and then click 'Sync '. If this is your initial test using the device, your system can choose to sync files automatically or manually depending on the capability of your music device.

Step 3: Click on the button "Finish". In automatic mode, the entire library is synced to the playlist to your player instantly. In manual mode, however, once you press the button 'Finish', you will need to select the playlist you want to sync with your portable music player.

Step 4: Select the files to be synchronized. Even if your system selects function mode of automatic synchronization, you can select the playlists you want to sync with your portable device. To do this, press the arrow under the "Sync" button, click the device that you are using, and then click on "configure synchronization."

Step 5: Add your playlists. Click on the 'List of available playback' button, select the playlists you want to include, and then click 'Add '.

  • How to disable the pop up "Windows Media Player cannot download the information on the media... "after the extraction of a CD without activation of network connectivity.

When I copy a CD with Windows Media Player, I get the message pop up after the investigation period is over: "Windows Media Player cannot download the media for this CD information. The other titles, artist, and album will be identified as "Unknown" in your library. For best results, connect to the Internet or manually add media for CD information. »

I know that the message appears when I turn on the setting to allow WMP to connect to the internet to get information about the media, but I don't want WMP does. What I want is a button I can push on the pop-up that says "don't show this message again" (similar to the warnings seen in internet explore). How can I disable this pop-up window without activating the internet connection option.

In case you're wondering, the data from the internet are incompatible in the naming convention so when I rip an audio book, so I can listen to my mp3 player, I can't completely post-processing script because not all of the disks in a set have a coherent on the slopes or even name the disc etc. At least drives marked 'Unknown' is consistent and so easy to script for the reduction to a single MP3 file.

  • CS5 does not all the associated files

I have several sites in DW CS5.

All of a sudden, the pages of sites do not display the associated files in the toolbar where they should be. The other site is showing them without problem.

I checked all the settings and tried "Refresh related files." Nothing does then appear. On one or two pages, the associated .js show files, but not the .css files. In this case, by using the 'Show all files' in the section file related Options does nothing.

    Can anyone help? THX.

OK... Thank you. So I took out the "/" before the path to the files related to make them relative and Yes, all of a sudden the associated files appeared in DW.

However, I went and looked at the pages of my other site in DW with the associated files with absolute paths which have no problem appear. The directory of the page structure and its related files is the same. So, with one site, DW can find files associated with absolute and paths in the other site DW needs the relative path, but the absolute path worked a week or two ago.

FOUND THE PROBLEM: In the server for the site information, the site that works very well has the full FTP path information entered. FTP full path information has been omitted in the other site that didn't work. As soon as I filled it, it worked fine.

    Thank you.

  • Receive the message error "Windows Media Player cannot extract one or more tracks from the CD"

Original title: Windows Media Player 12 in Windows 8 - will not tear, will not allow rip parameter changes

Recently started Windows Media Player displays this error message when I tried to rip CDs: "Windows Media Player cannot extract one or more tracks from the CD." When I checked the rip settings, I found that no location has been chosen, even if I had chosen a location when I first set up WMP over a year ago. When I clicked on the "Change location" button, nothing happened, so I'm not able to choose a file location. I downloaded and Fix It (http://support.microsoft.com/mats/windows-media-player-diagnostic-Windows-8/en-us) from Microsoft allows WMP and the library, hoping this would solve the problem, but the problem persists. After that, I also found that none of the rip settings can be changed, not only the location of the file. I get an error message that "ripping settings could not be applied" when I try to change anything on the tab music Rip under Options. I found a support of forum responses that mention a registry fix but does not provide any details on how to achieve this. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

Ripping allows you to put the titles of your audio CD on your PC. When you rip the tracks, they become digital files on your PC.

There are two places in the Player library where you can customize your settings and better to make ripping work:

    • In the Rip settings menu (with less choice customization).

    • In the Options dialog box (with several choices of customization).

Method 1: run the tool library, Windows Media Player and Windows Media Player settings and check if the extraction is possible.

    Step 1:

a: press the logo Windows + O to open the search box.
    b: Type Troubleshooting, press ENTER.

    c: now, click on programs.

d: and then click Windows Media Player  library.

    Step 2:

a: press the logo Windows + O to open the search box.
    b: Type Troubleshooting, press ENTER.

    c: now, click on programs.

d: and then click Windows Media settings.

Method 2: Perform the steps from the link below and see if it helps.
