  I apologize for the delay in responding. It seems that the user profile that you are using has gone corrupt. Try to create a new user profile and check if you have the same problems here as well.

  1. open user accounts by clicking on the button start the picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking user accounts and family safety, then clicking on user accounts.

  2. click on manage another account. Need administrator permission if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  3. click on create a new account.

  Of your most recent post, looks like you're watching the wrong part of the Device Manager. Optical drive is listed under "readers of CD-ROM/DVD-ROM". The info you gave appear under "drives". If the drive is not listed under "readers of CD-ROM/DVD-ROM" or there is no such section in Device Manager, then Windows do not see. If windows can't see it then this means that there is no power or that the drive is broken.

  When you pushed the drive back in, the player no longer has much of the book or did you have to push all the way. If the latter, it means that the drive has no power or is broken.

  With respect to the opening of the case, I guess I should ask first if it's a laptop or desktop?

  My work has recently retired this t410 server. It worked without any problems when he was arrested. I had to remove and destroy the hard drives from the system. After that, I was allowed to bring home for my own use. I installed a new sata drive and plugged into the power supply and a free sata port on the motherboard. I get nothing when I tried to boot the system. This version has the unique power. Power light only lights up when you press the test button. System fan is going at full speed, but stops when you release the power button. Also on the control panel lights 1,2 and 4 and HDD power on and turn until the test button is released. There is a single green light lit on the motherboard, while it is plugged. Apart from that, I have no response when you press the main power button. Can anyone tell how to try to get it up and running again.

  I have not received the answers more so I think that this issue is ignored. So I'll let everyone know what finally happened. I solved my problem after a lot of electrical testing. I found a diagram of the arrangement of the power dell power supply pins and I made myself the best possible meter test. After several rounds of tests, I found several pins that did not have the right voltage. I bought a new power supply. I installed and replace everything. I plugged into the system and it auto fed on itself. I loaded from an OS and it works perfectly.

  I just got my board replaced on my MacBook Pro.  Before it was replaced, when I pressed the button with the dashboard icon (F4), it is toggled between my widgets that have been opened in the dashboard and the window, in that I was working.  Now, after you set up the Mission control to show the dashboard with the key to the dashboard, I see the dock (which I choose to hide) and all my apps icons.  I then have to click on the application of the dashboard to show my widgets.  How to reset the key so that it only shows the widgets when I press on it?

  I have a LabVIEW program that includes a number of loops, but one of my curls (which surrounds a series of functions "Write TDMS") has a Boolean stop that transmits a signal through two GOLD and functions in a control of the loop (see aea of interest). My problem is that when I press the button stop the loop will not stop and will continue to save and write data that I didn't need a file.

  I'm currently having problems with audio / reading slides. The characteristics of sliding replay I tried (listed below) read the images and text boxes, but the audio attached to text boxes do not restart, continue as if nothing has happened during the synchronization of text boxes and images have been reset.   I have a problem with the laptop of my companion. After she pours water on her, she has stopped working (no surprise really lol). I took it to pieces, right down to remove the motherboard to try to find the fault. Now when the AC is connected and batt is in place, NIP of the led, same thing happens without batt.

  BUT the computer does not light when you press the power button. Im guessing that it is a hardware failure, since water isn't really best friend elecrtics, but I was hoping someone else might have other ideas/solutions?

  I searched the toshiba site and found nothing on this laptop.

  You are absolutely right. It's probably hardware failure and I fear that the motherboard must be replaced. I recommend you contact Toshiba service partners in your country and look for info on the repair and costs.
