  The problem is in fact a function: If you open a file (such as a video) directly, WMP opens directly to the ' Now Playing ' screen to display the video (the video can not be displayed in library mode where it lists all the files).  It is locked, you cannot change this behavior (because I'm sure you would agree, everyone would complain if they could not see a video playing every time they played, of course!)

  Windows key + X and turn on the command line (Admin)
  
  Type in the command line:

  net stop wuauserv
  Rename c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution softwaredistribution.old
  net start wuauserv

  Reboot and see if that's the solution

  Usually, apps in the Windows store are pinned at the end of the Start Menu.
  You can search the game:
  Windows key + Q (This will open the Find tab in the start menu)

  If your new motherboard came as a replacement for Acer warranty, then they need to help you fix the problem of activation.
   
  If you bought the motherboard yourself out of warranty Acer, then, you are responsible for your operating system (OS).
   
  If the operating system is installed on the computer, you may be able to use the key on the back of the computer (25 characters in 5 sets of 5) case to activate the product but you have to use telephone activation.  If this does not work, you will need to purchase a full retail version of an OS that works on your new computer as products OEM are linked to the original motherboard which has been installed by the manufacturer and cannot be changed with a like type motherboard.

  I had to reset to factory settings after upgrade. However, it was so painful, that I did it and just solved the problem.

  Not sure whether your question, but if you want to play the device, you can move the icon to the o to start the icons on the 'Home' screen  Use the Menu button when you have an icon in short.  On my "BOLD" test, I moved downloads so that it always appears on the main screen.
