• Satellite C655 - text insert point is erratic, wandering and deletes

  I'm having an erratic text insertion point.
  When you use MS Word, WordPress or other trying to hit, the text insertion point jumps around while typing.
  The result is;

  (1) what I'm typing is inserted in the text that is already written,
  (2) text is placed elsewhere in the page, or
  (3) written text is deleted - this may be a word or a whole paragraph.
  Type it is like playing a game - type you and watch where the words are placed or erasure and always complete a sentence.

  I use a Satellite C655 which I bought through BJ, Word 7, Internet Explorer and Word Starter 2010.
  I don't like this version of Word, but my drive for Word 2003 does not install because of a "missing file" - go figure.
  It installed on my new Windows 7 desktop computer.

  Any suggestions? Is it a problem that I would return to my laptop for Toshiba?

• Back button on slide show works not properly?

  I am currently working in Flash Professional CS6 using a sheet AS3 thing... I'm incredibly new to Flash, and I met a google problem could not solve.

  So, the goal was to tween transparency each photo that will loop continuously. I wanted to also add, back, pause and play buttons that appears when you move the scene. Well, I have everything works except the back button.

  For some reason any to my insue, whenever you hit the back button a few times (more than twice or you click the next button and then the back button), he is not back. It's as if the button is not reload on the appropriate framework. Strange for me.

  The next button seems to work perfectly, however. So why just the back button? I do not know!

  I have my flash project implemented in the following way (maybe it's not the most effective way, but I couldn't find another way to do it; I hope this makes sense):

  Each photo is in its own layer. Each layer is interpolated transparency. The layers are staggered in order to blend into one another.

  I have two layers of action.

  The first layer of action has my channel playback, pause, and alpha. This key frame encompasses the full slideshow. Here is the code:

  My second layer action has my buttons next and return to them. I have a new image of action relative to the opening of each interpolated image. Here is the code for one of keyframes (Note: the only thing that changes are the numbers for each key frame):

  You do the same thing you've been originally... creating several headphones for the button.  You just need the functions defined once in the first picture where the keys begins.  This layer actions must extend to the entire length of the timeline so that the variables and functions are available throughout.

  Instances of the button can increase the full length of the scenario without the need to have more than one keyframe for them.

• How Label Keynote slides and elements of construction

  I'm on a Macbook Pro OS 10.11.4. I'm not as smart as other users, so I would be recognizing some grace if my question annoys experienced users out there. I have the latest version of Keynote and trying to find away from naming/labeling of each slide, but also from other things (like groups of measures/builds and builds).

  I am well aware of the position of Apple (I think) that we (the user) should simply not want , to do certain things, in their view. The context for me, I am the creation of animations and other graphics and want to be able to have a called "presentation", for example, 'technology '. Who would be in a slide that has televisions, mobile phones and so on. It would be great to be able to name a slide and a group of measures/builds and save these groups to a reusable template.

  I can't imagine for one minute that Apple will implement this because I think it's a great idea, but I was wondering if there was anything that I did not see, and if there is no useful reviews out there (not necessarily a 10-point work, impractical, even if I'm always intrigued on how people come with smart workaround solutions.

  From your post I understand that you want to not only rename slide masters that use you in a presentation, but also builds.  You can rename these slides masters by following the steps below.  Currently entertainment and generations cannot be saved in a template of slides, which must be created on a basis of slides.

  Add a master slide

  1. Click view in the toolbar, then choose Modify Master Slides.

  2. Do one of the following:

     • Click on in the toolbar, and then select a master slide.

     • In the Slide Navigator, select a slide with a layout similar to the layout of your choice, and then press ENTER.

  3. Double-click the name of the slide in the Slide Navigator, and then type a new name.

  4. Change the slide as you like by adding text, images, shapes, placeholders or other objects.

     If you want objects on slides that are based on this mask to the layer on the main objects, select "Allow objects on the slide to the layer with master" in the sidebar. (If you do not see a sidebar or sidebar is not to say Master Layout at the top, click on the slide in the Slide Navigator, and then click on the toolbar.)

     To learn more about layers, see layer, group and lock objects.

  5. Click done at the bottom of the slide canvas, or click display in the toolbar, then choose Exit Master slides when you are finished editing.

• Captivate 9 - text entry area - cannot navigate through the input of text boxes on the same slide using enter key (works only tab)

  I designed a slide that has 3 areas of text entry.

  I need the user to be able to type in their response to the first box and then press the ENTER key, it will pass them in the next text box. After typing in their response to the second box, press ENTER, and then have developed pass to the third area.

  I don't want to use tab, I want to go to work as a shortcut key, so this works well on all devices. It feels like a trip to the logic of the user.

  I removed the button SUBMIT and check the validate user input.

  I put the shortcut key to ENTER in propriety / Actions area

  However, after that type in an answer and pressing on enter, the focus is not moved in the input text box available at the following address on the same blade.

  This happens regardless of browser (tested Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and IE9/10) and also OS - Windows 7, Mac OSX 10.9, 10.10 and latest version of iOS

  Only the tab key works (Ive even tried with other keyboard shortcuts and it always comes back to TAB).

  I know that this feature is possible in Captivate 9. I have read and watched many tutorials online, it seems a very basic feature. I could be wrong.

  This is a feature of wholesale/known or I'm doing something wrong.

  Indeed, your problem is related to the Enter key as a shortcut key, not to have multiple TEB and one absolutely validation button. Take a look at this article very old (you are not the first to ask about this):

  But here I explained to indicate to the user click in a next TEB, do not use input.

• Read external text and display in a slide in Captivate 4?

  A slide in one of my lessons depends on text that is constantly evolving and I need a way to display the text WITHOUT having to modify the Captivate project and re - publish, on an hourly basis.

  Is there an easy way to do this?

  The text is coded HTML so ultimately, I am looking for a way to read an external html file in a Captivate slide. If there is a problem in HTML, the text can be formatted in plain text format.

  One idea is to have a 'window' in my lesson of Captivate, that points to a URL. This URL points to a simple HTML file that contains text and maybe a chart or two.

  Note:

  1. I don't want to open a new page web (I know it's easy to Captivate).

  2. I know that I can write the code Flash and 'probably' this insert into Captivate... I wonder if anyone knows how to do this Captivate (without additional Flash code). I Flash at home, but I don't have a Flash to work, and I was hoping to get there before the end of my work day.

  I created slides to a keynote presentation in the SGP and I was wondering if anyone knows what is the size of slide keynote default widescreen?

  

  Photoshop has a 'film & video' preset and under size has several options b UT none for keynote or projection...

  Also, as it is planned I guess it's 72 dpi as opposed to a higher resolution like 300 for printing?

  Keynote projects on any screen you have, so the resolution (in pixels) is not relevant. What is important is the aspect ratio. This should be 16:9 in many cases.

  Now when you design for projection images and they are not the correct size in pixels, they get scaled down or explode with all the problems that are related to this (time, quality, etc.). R_Kelly guess is a good proposal, as it is about the size of a HD screen.

  The DPI value is completely irrelevant, as it is said only an image of 1920 pixels wide should be disseminated to 26.6 inches. But if my screen is smaller or greater it will be always screened, because we will use the format full screen. Even if project you onto a screen of 4 k, it will be the full screen size to use. On a VGA size screen, it will be reduced...

• Why the button still going to slide as soon as I clicked on no Action?

  By clicking on the button in your case will execute any action, but it will always be to reactivate the timeline and let the blade to progress.

  Captivate 9 there is now another option button that allows to specify if or not you want the timeline to continue.  But this option does not exist in previous versions.

  I suggest that you have your button run a standard or conditional Action instead and just define the action of this fast Action to no Action.  In contrast to the unique Actions that you configure properties > menu Actions, these advanced Actions do not have a built-in action to continue.
