Why the default country is China?

I bought an iPhone SE (model A1662) from USA the Apple Store online. Then I traveled in China. But, when I first opened the box TO take to turn on without a sim card or the wifi, I have found the first option of language at the top on the screen is Chinese, I chose English, then proceed to the second screen to find the default country to the toppest is also China.

As this iPhone is purchased from the United States, could someone help explain is a problem with this iPhone? It seems it's strange and should not act like this.

I would point out that the inclusion of the library item of $ HomeGroupUser is normal and is not related to the errors you found during execution of the backup.

The mistakes are there because that is the items in errors has been deleted or moved to another location. You could exclude this default settings of Windows Backup location or view the steps in the link given below.

  • Why the default format window opens in the new documents open in Pages 5.6.1?

Someone else asked this before, but it is with an older version of Pages, and it's a few years, so I thought I'd make a new discussion.

Everytime I open a new document in Pages (version 5.6.1 on OS 10.11.2, on a 13 "Macbook Pro of 2009), the formatting window is open. It's ugly and I do not want to use immediately. What is the default? Like other posters, I tried to create a model that does not do that, but even at the opening with the model, it opens but each time. As in the other poster said: this is not a terrible amount of work, but it is very annoying to do all the time. This has happened for years. A word about the recent patches?

Not and unlikely he's going to change.

  • Why is the default on Windows 8 K page size?

    Hello

I do some work setting on our databases because the Scriptures are a bit slow:
about 100 puts / deletes per second. One thing I'm getting is setting the fill factor
as recommended in the API docs and requires knowledge of the size of the page.

I found that the system on linux and windows (x 86) page size is 4 K.
However, the BDB chooses a page size default of 4K on linux and 8K on windows.
I found this by collecting data using Db::stat_print() see Windows test code below.
I have the same code that runs on both platforms.

I was expecting that BDB would choose 4K on both platforms to match to the
System page size. The docs and "The Berkeley DB Book" say or imply
    that this is the case.
    http://www.Oracle.com/technology/documentation/Berkeley-DB/DB/ref/am_conf/PageSize.html
    http://www.Oracle.com/technology/documentation/Berkeley-DB/DB/api_cxx/db_set_pagesize.html

Can someone explain why the default page size is 8K on windows?
Should I replace the default value and set it to 4K? I am reluctant to substitute the
page size by default without knowing why a non intuitive value.

I have read several forum posts on the page size, as well as the reference setting
    Guide section, API docs, etc.

I use BDB 4.6.21 on Windows XP Professional (fully patched) and linux.
    I use a DB_HASH database.

My files are fixed size: the key and the data set total 40 bytes.
If the overflow pages should not be a problem, and there should be a lot of
    records per page.

    Hello

We use a default 8K on Windows page size because it is not easy to recover from a specific block size.

The comment in the code to set the block size is:

            /*
             * The filesystem I/O size is not easily available. In particular,
             * the values returned by GetDiskFreeSpace() are not very helpful
             * (NTFS volumes often report 512B clusters, which are too small to
             * be a useful default).
             */

If you know a way to reliably determine the block size of system files in Windows - we can integrate it into the code.

We choose a default value of 8K on all platforms where we do not find a specific block size. This is because it is usually better - for performance reasons - to have a writing of data in chunks larger than the block size.

If you read the reference guide on page size setting, you can probably do better than our "guess". You just configure the page size you want through the DB-> set_pagesize API.

    Hi ajag,.
Sorry, you have problems, but probably some adware or malware.

Thank you for including the information system. I'm not familiar with "Vonteera free ads" However, he is apparently adware. Pay attention to the advice, followed by research on the internet I would be, for example, do NOT try the YAC website or tool.

Using the Firefox addons Manager and Panel configuration remove toolbars unwanted obvious or programs. Then fully analyze up to tools date and multiple.

Please follow the tips in the link above immediately and then do full scans as shown below in this post.
I notice that you have a user.js file require separately.
Post back saying that you tried and what the results were.

You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP, if you do not already have one. Windows 8 already has integrated antivirus.

  • Why firefox can not open with the default profile. It should be renamed?

trying to install "malwarebytes" for extra protection, the Norton toolbar on firefox has been reduced in size by losing my option "Vault". This prompted reinstalling on securities Notion which then prevented the opening of firefox. Internet Explore works well but I use firefox for years so why change. Firefox won't open (even after being uninstalled and downloaded and reinstalled. The message 'your firefox profile cannot be loaded, etc.' following the instructions of your forum, I locate a profile with the word 'profile' embedded file. The word "profile" in the flow path is preceded by a weird name (such as a foreign name). Path =
'C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\bzjajhor.default-1419035389504 '. This file needs to be renamed and can they?

Please help me to go back to firefox. Thank you

Do not rename a profile folder.
It seems that there is a problem with the profiles.ini.

    See:

This is usually caused by a problem with the file profiles.ini and the profile marked as the default value = 1 in this file is no longer present on the hard drive.

    • Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
      C:\Users\ < user > < profile > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.
    • Linux: ~/.mozilla/firefox/
    • Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox /.

You can use one of them to make Firefox/reuse to create a new default profile:

    • Remove the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile
    • Use the Profile Manager to create a new profile
Use "Choose a folder" when you create a new profile to select the location of a lost profile and recover this profile

I'm curious to know why Mozilla decided to move the engine of Firefox default to Yahoo search, without initially to provide an explanation to users. Specifically, how does this change benefits users? »

Hello ariel, please fill in this question. the reasons to change the default search provider in firefox are explained in https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2014/11/19/promoting-choice-and-innovation-on-the-web/

of course, users are free as always to set their search engine preferred as default choice: use the Firefox search bar

Firefox is configured as the default browser, but if I click on a link in MS Word, the link opens with MS Internet Explore. Why?

I have the same problem, but the difference is in the opening of the MS WORD hyperlinks to download documents (for example http://ntv.spbstu.ru/2011/hss_2011_3.pdf#page=145 ). This link wants to call MS IE.

I know that the Firefox button can be displayed on Windows XP too by hiding the menu bar. But why is it not by default? If Windows XP users do not know that the Firefox button can be demonstrated by hiding the menu bar, they will not only not be able to access the Firefox button but also, will not be able to take advantage of tabs on titlebar. Describe why it is not default Mozilla?

AW hell, I'm a true dufuss. And I thought that strange taste in my mouth was to smoke too many this morning: it's toe-jam. I have a screen wide screen and rarely ever run Firefox enlarged - didn't see the tabs in the title bar.

Why MS never decided that the default folder options / "hide known file extensions.

If file extensions invisible brings no end of confusion to anyone trying to resolve anything.

The first thing I advise in various forums troubleshooting

must * allow * file extensions.  That is so my question - why MS never chosen

Let them invisible by default?  It seems a strange decision - and cause no end of

Because there are a few users who would be accidentally when trying to rename a file change or remove the extension and in doing so the file would not open.  If this post answers your question, click mark as answer .
