  Claes has pretty much nailed. You will do well to spend time to learn how Lightroom works. He is not like most software that you've used before, and if you don't understand what it does and how it does, you stand a good chance of losing your images.

  Try googling 'Lightroom tutorials' or 'get started in Lightroom. It's not rocket science, but it's different.

I have to go to the menu called View, scroll to toolbars, scroll down to the bookmarks toolbar, click it to get the toolbar bookmarks shown (not all bookmarks, I want that all those where they are now, but only the ones I have chosen as Bookmarks Toolbar). To have to do everytime I open Firefox is most unsatisfactory. Why is there no option to have the toolbar bookmarks shown without all this hassle every time whenever Firefox is open the same as is the case for the menu bar and the Navigation bar? I have Firefox as my browser with Windows XP mode without failure.

  I set up SSH as a proxy server on my laptop when I'm on a public network and configure Firefox to use the proxy by completing the manual Proxy config.

I use the proxy because I want to protect my internet traffic when I'm on public networks, if Firefox can randomly ignore them for some sites but not others, how can I trust him?
