Why the two attempts to start are necessary to start the 10 Windows Boot Camp?

The first attempt to start seems to stall after the first Windows will appear and the monitor did his normal black screen.   A manual power off is required.  The second attempt to start Windows 10 Home functions correctly.  This on a MacBook with OS X installed 10.7.5 late 2006.  This MacBook as the host has Oracle VM in VirtualBox for Mac installed with Windows 7 Home, Windows 7 Pro and Linux Mint installed 17.2 as guests.  All these operating systems work relatively well.  Only two boot problem with Boot Camp is unusual.

Your 2006 MB does not officially support W10. If you use the startup disk and select Bootcamp, it requires a second reboot? You are using any third party NTFS software.

  • Clean the remains of Boot Camp?

    Hello

So I don't know if it's the right category, but long story short... I gave up trying to dual boot windows 10 on my Macbook Pro... apparently the 2009 version does support it which is probably why it has been such an a giant pain, anyway, no matter what I tried. In any case... I wonder if there is anyway to get rid of the images that Boot Camp Assistant has created?

As you can see there are two (multiple attempts to operate... I couldn't even install windows 7... -_-) I tried just their erasure in disk utility, but it says failed! Maybe I'm doing wrong? Apparently it is also supposed to be a feature in the Boot Camp assistant that allows to remove the Windows partition, but I don't have the option!

I am at my wits end and I was so angry I'll just reformat my entire hard drive and start from scratch! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated...

    Thank you

  • Changed the size of the Windows Boot Camp Partition - now merger does not

My Windows partition was too large, so I used the scroll bar in Boot Camp to reduce its size.  Start directly on Windows (via system preferences) works very well.  However, I got an error message (I should have written it, but it didn't) when you try to start Windows using the merger.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the merger, but now when I start it up I got a message "no boot device found".  I would still be able to use the merger through the Boot Camp partition.  My thought is that the easiest way would be to completely remove Fusion, because the Boot Camp partition works fine on its own.  Apparently, the rest backout package still some files on the hard drive that caused the errors after reinstall.

Any ideas on how to remove all traces of Fusion I can do a completely new reinstall?

VMware Fusion of uninstalling/reinstalling will not solve this problem, and all you have to do is delete the partition Boot Camp package of Virtual Machine that is basically just meta-data and does not affect the physical Boot Camp partition by deleting.

Note: These senses are different which have already been posted so read and follow through... Note: These steps assume that you have a single Apple to default installation of Windows on a single Boot Camp partition and Boot Camp of VMware Fusion single default partition Machine virtual (without a snapshot *) and if you have changed the partition Boot Camp Virtual Machine to add additional hard disks to be virtual or RAW disk then do not use these instructions unless you backup the Boot Camp partition the Machine package virtual first. * Also note that Fusion 2.0.0 may accidentally have a snapshot with the virtual partition Boot Camp Machine and it should not have, then you should check to ensure that the condition does not exist as well. (With merger closed if the partition Boot Camp Virtual Machine package is over 1 MB in size, then you might have a snapshot in place and do not continue with these instructions.)

    1. If the merger is open, close it.

    2. in a Terminal (/ Applications/Utilities/Terminal) copy and paste command, as the following and then press Enter and it will delete the partition Boot Camp Virtual Machine of the metadata and the Virtual Machine to help.

Note: This does not affect the Boot Camp partition install windows in that it does not remove it.  Also be sure you copy all the command line below, as well as, "RM" at the beginning of the ' (quote) after the s in the Machines. "

    RM - dfr "/Users/$ the specified item was not found./Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Virtual Machines/Helper/naos-1.0.vmwarevm/vmware.log ' ~/Desktop/Helper_vmware.log

  • WiFi disabled in Windows Boot Camp 10, can not reinstall the driver

Running an end of 2013 the MBP 15 "retina

I got 10 Windows Boot Camp installed for more than a year without difficulty. But suddenly, my wifi doesn't work in Windows 10. He could see networks and said it was connected, but it has never been an internet connection.

Assuming that it was the result of an update, I

1 uninstalled all Windows regular updates that I can

    2. uninstalled the Broadcom driver

3 downloaded the last Boot Camp Assistant WSS and installed

But now I can't reinstall a driver for the Broadcom card! I tried to install WSS, but the network card remains in my device without a driver manager. So I tried to install the individual installation files in the folder of Broadcom. Still did not work. I even tried to extract all files Broadcom installation and manual installation of all the drivers. Windows 10 seems to recognize that the "ac" driver is the right, but always tells me that the driver installation failed without giving details.

    What else can I try?

  • Two partitions of Windows after the installation of Boot camp?

I have a new Macbook Pro from 2015, with OS X 10.11.3 El Capitan.

I put the iso file of Windows 10 in the download folder and installed using Boot Camp assistant. After formatting the Bootcamp partition in the Windows installation guide and complete the installation, everything seems fine.

    But.

When starting with the alt key to choose between Mac and Windows, I have now two icons Windows as well as Mac icon. A my Windows installed 10 boots, and the other icon starts the installation guide for Windows. Why is this last icon of Windows and the option to start the installation of Windows always there?

    Hi there Jer2015,

Looks like you see an additional drive when you hold down option and start your computer, which will begin installing Windows again when selected. That sounds to me like you have the USB plugged with ISO on installation files. All you need to do is unplug it from the computer and it should no longer be an option.

    Hello

Wow, that seems strange. I have no idea why this would happen, but I wonder if it is related to one of the Add-ons you have installed? I see a red icon in the status bar that I'm not familiar with, which leads me to believe that you might have other add-ons installed. One thing to try is to start Firefox Firefox with disabled modules (you can do this in the Help menu). If you do not see this problem in this mode, the problem is caused by one of the Add-ons. On the Tools menu, you can access the Add-ons and disable one by one. Remember to restart each time, and then test.

If none of this takes care of this, my other suggestion would be Reset Firefox: Firefox Refresh - reset the parameters and modules

    Hope all this helps.

    See you soon,.

  • Why the illustator window fills the screen at the launch of the program?

This isn't normal behavior for most of the programs on a Macintosh computer. I use several applications at the same time and use Keyboard Maestro to automation, so I would like to that window to stay put and be smaller than full-screen at the opening of the program. This is a common problem or there something wrong with my installation?

You are right. I tried it in 2015 CC

But it works very well in CS6, you can resize the application window, restart the application and it is resized.

I don't know in what CC version that has changed in.

It is therefore more a bug to a feature request report.

My HP printer is able to print double-sided, which saves paper, but the print window of Firefox offers no possibility of double-sided printing. (I recently spent IE, this fact.) I have to do something to add?

The relevant printing for your printer options appear under properties AFTER you click Print and select the printer to use.

  • Install the drivers/software Boot Camp partition or via VMware?

Execution of merger 3.1.3 with XP Pro installed via Boot Camp. Works great, however, I would like to install a new WiFi card driver and a few other SW. Start Boot Camp and install or install while Fusion running? MacBook Pro running 10.6.8.

    TIA...

I believe that the two courses are ok. Since your will install a WiFi card driver to your training camp, I suggest that you go to the training Camp in native mode and install it to see if it works very well, because in Fusion, you use a virtual network adapter.

In theory, all the SW installed natively in Boot camp will work in Boot camp VM. And vice versa.

Joe Kissel, author of "Take control of VMWare Fusion 2," recommends users to install Apple's Boot Camp drivers to access remote cameras Apple Remote and iSight in VMWare:

To install the Boot Camp Windows drivers:

    1. with Windows running in the merger, insert your Leopard installation DVD.

The Boot Camp installer should run automatically.

You can close Windows and then go into Windows Explorer on the CD/DVD drive and navigate to : \BootCamp\setup.exe and double-click it to start installing Boot Camp drivers. (The label of the disc will probably show that "WindowsSupport" in Windows Explorer.)

  • Where to download the drivers for Boot Camp (especially for the Apple TrackPad) 6.0?

I have been using Apple TrackPad with a laptop work (published by company, Windows only) for several years now. Working recently been upgraded to Windows 10 laptop and TrackPad Apple seems to not work well.

Is there anywhere I can download the boot camp 6.0 or more precisely that of Apple TrackPad driver pack?

Please download the general of brigade (https://github.com/timsutton/brigadier). A Mac is easier, but it also works well on Windows, provided that you have installed some of the underlying software that brigadier needs. You must provide a model of Mac and it will provide a WindowsSupport.dmg for this specific Mac/model on which this trackpad is supported.

What is the new Trackpad2 or the original Trackpad?

  • Delete the files from Boot Camp

I imported my BootCamp on merging partition and everything seems to work OK. In the VM library, I chose to delete, but does not delete the Bootcamp VM.

Now I would like to know how to recover the Bootcamp VM previously deleted in the library so I can remove and delete it.

You do not need to get it in the library Virtual Machine if all you want to do is delete it, do it from the Finder.

    It is located in the: "/Users/$ {USER} / Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Virtual Machines / Boot Camp."
