Why windows live Director has no timeline functionality?
This makes it extremely difficult/impossible to produce separate audio / subtitles for your videos
Apparently the programmers thought less functionality has been better.
FWIW... you can always use Vista Movie Maker 6.

My windows live mail has stopped working correctly: I can view my Inbox but not send emails, because a box appears and indicates a problem with this caused page internet explore to stop working. This seems to be connected to the other problem I have with windows live messenger, who says his side by side configuration is incorrect.
I uninstalled windows live essentials and reinstalled it but still the same result. Have also installed all updates via the windows installer.
I am close to throw the computer because the problem seems irreparable: HELP!

Try to start the computer in a clean boot and check if it helps: How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean Windows Vista or Windows 7 boot http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

If none of them work, then go to programs and features and uninstall all.

Method 1
It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.
I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Reset the computer to start as usual
When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
