Why Windows Media Center keep telling me that there is no internet connection?
I try to use Windows Media Center, but it keeps telling me that there is no internet connection. The connection is there because I can run all internet programs. I use McAfee and I left full access to Windows Media Center without result. What to do next?

Everytime I open my computer keeps opening the WMC. I googled the problem and tried all support responses to this problem. That is to say going in and deselecting WMC started etc.. I hope you do well. It would be good if you could provide us with the exact error message. However, you can try the following steps.
1. Click Start, then Control Panel.
2. click on default programs.
3. click on program access and computer by default.
4. click on custom.
5. allow access to this program.
Please let us know regarding when exactly this issue started while we offer a system restore when the computer was working fine, if this is really necessary. I suggest you to remove the Windows Media Center data store. To do this, follow the steps mentioned below
(a) exit any running instance of Windows Media Center.
(b) delete the file from media Center DataStore.db. By default, this file is located in the following location:
(c) %SYSTEMDRIVE%\ProgramData\Microsoft\eHome\mediaCenterDataStore.db
To remove the file, follow these steps:
(d) click on start, then run.
(e) in the Open box, type run and then click OK
(f) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
(g) in the Open box, type % systemdrive%\programdata\microsoft\ehome, and then click OK.
(h) in the Details pane, right-click media center datastore.db and then click on remove.
(i) click Yes to confirm that you want to move the Mediacenterdatastore.db file to the trash.
(j) to start Windows Media Center, and then check.

Internet TV is available only in the United States and the United Kingdom - assuming that you are located in the United States / UK:
Check your region settings in Windows. Go to start > Control Panel > clock, language and region > region and language. On the location tab, make sure that the country is selected in the administration tab, make sure that the language is also correct as well, otherwise click the settings change system locale.
Go to start, all programs, accessories, click with the right button on command prompt and choose Run as administrator. At the command prompt, run the following command and press ENTER: start/wait %windir%\ehome\mcupdate - uf-nogc
After you run this command, open Media Center and check if it is available, otherwise, you may need to reset the Media Center, note that this operation removes all custom settings and you will need to re-run the installation again:
Open the command prompt, as described above once again and then type the following command and press ENTER: MediaCenterRecoveryTask - %SystemRoot%\ehome\mcupdate.exe

If karena information do not help to solve your Media Center doesn't work is no problem, you can try to see if creating a new user account
will help you get WMC works for you. I have seen several questions when a damaged user account has caused problems with WMC.You can also try and see if you have any 3rd party codecs that can interfere with WMC. You can uninstall by Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
If you need a list of the codecs installed on your computer, follow these steps:
1. on the Help menu, click about Windows Media Player.
If the Help menu is not visible, show the Classic Menus.
2. in the dialog box on Windows Media Player, click Technical Support information.
Your Web browser opens a page that contains information about the related binary files, codecs, filters, plug-ins and services installed on your computer.
