The module and the page host check repeats whenever I open Firefox 13.0
I have recently installed FF13.0. My homepage is on: vacuum. Everytime I open FF, the auditor of computability module runs then when FF finally opens, it shows a welcome instead of a blank page. How can I fix it?
You can try to reset firefox and see if that makes a difference (bookmarks and passwords will be kept)

The "Club of Sam' site with my username and" remember me "box checked is one that opens behind my home page. This happens everytime I open Firefox, but didn't happen until I've set up the login page of the Sam Club.
jscher2000 - you are a genius! I closed it and it does not reappear now, when I open Firefox. I checked the properties of the bookmark Club of Sam I had set and the box "Open in sidebar" has not been verified - but it was maybe at some point. In any case, seems to have solved the problem. Thank you very much. It's a gene that I couldn't find answers too on another site. you did it!

Everytime I open Firefox there is a window that says "media player is out of date" and won't let me not go further until I close the window, and then reopen Firefox. When I try to update, it says that it does not work for Mac.
Please do NOT install this suggested MediaPlayer. This message is caused by an extension that I recommend withdrawal, following these steps:
Please try to disable all non-essential or unrecognized extensions on page modules. Either:
- CMD + SHIFT + a
- "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then deal a critical look at the list on the right and, when in doubt, turn off (or delete). Especially if you find something called MediaPlayer. Keep in mind that all extensions are optional and none is included with Firefox when you get it first.
Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.
That get rid of messages?

Everytime I open Firefox I get a message: "an attempt to change your home page has been blocked" and firefox crashes.
I unintalled (on my MAC) and reinstalled twice. Makes no difference. Any suggestions?Could you try starting Firefox in Safe Mode? It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.
Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the option key when starting Firefox.
If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
- Help menu > restart with disabled modules
and OK reboot.
Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).
Any improvement?
While you are in Mode without failure, you could copy a list of your extensions and paste them into an answer? The best place for this is the support information page - either:
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
- (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
- type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter
Scroll down to the Extensions section, and then select from there until the end of the following table with the mouse and copy. Then paste into a response. It may seem a bit messy but don't worry, we're used to it.
In addition, if you check your homepage settings, he changed? This article explains where to find that page preferences: start-up, homepage, tabs and download settings.

How to reorder the pages in boat launch
How to reorder the pages in boat launch?
Hello Bob,
Thank you for being part of the community of Apple!
Looks like you want to change the order of the pages both in Launchpad. If it is not possible to change whole pages at a time, you can click and hold on an application and drag it to where you want it to be. If you want to move it to another page, drag the app to the edge of the screen, and the page will change which allows you to place it on another page.
You can find more information about Launchpad here:
The basics of the Mac: Launchpad is the quick way to find and open your applications
Have a great day!

Everytime I open Firefox 29.0.1 I get the screen crash report why
Everytime I open Firefox 29.0.1 I Get the screen crash report I want to restore the tabs, as far as I know that Firefox crashed. This started after I upgraded to Ver 29.0.1
Rather than do a uninstall complete, you can try this:
Create a new Firefox profile
A new profile will be your plugins installed by system (for example, Flash) and extensions (e.g., security suite toolbars), but no themes, other extensions or other customizations. It should also have databases of completely fresh settings and cool a cache folder.
Out of Firefox and start in the profile using Start Manager > Search box (or run):
firefox.exe -P
Any time want to switch profiles, exit Firefox and return to this dialog box.
Click on the button create a profile. I recommend using the default location suggested, in other words, do not click the button to choose a different folder. Then launch Firefox in the new profile that you have created.
If you browse around, exit, reboot, etc, the problem continues?
When you return to the Profile Manager to return to your normal profile, you might be tempted to use the button to delete the profile. It's a little too easy to accidentally delete your 'real' profile, so I recommend you to resist the temptation. If you don't want to clean up later, I suggest to make a backup of all your profiles first in case something go wrong.

Question
On the right of the adressbox, I always have Yahoo then Google, how can I solve that, I already delete Yahoo from the list in the box search, but every time I start firefox Yahoo is back. Thanks Ron Mijtelen ter, Amsterdam.Hi Ron,
Have you looked at article in the Knowledge Base using the search in Firefox bar? There are lots of good information in there. You happen to have an installed Yahoo! toolbar? You must disable or delete as well if you do. Try to start Firefox in Mode safe mode by holding down the SHIFT key while starting Firefox. If you have any problems using the safe, it's a matter of add-on or extension.
Hope this helps!

I need to know how to set the zoom tab 'View' option, shere I cannot re zoom everytime I open Firefox. I have a wide screen monitor and generally, when you view Web pages, web content on any page is confined to the center of the page, and I was wondering if there was anyway to set preferences to zoom on a permanent basis without having to change them whenever I open a Web page.
IE 8 and 9 has a function to set the magnification, and I put mine at 150%, which works perfectly for me. I wonder if Firefox has a similar function.
There are some add-ons that can be used to change the zoom level on all sites, for example:
- NoSquint - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/nosquint/
- Default FullZoom Level - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/

There is a program that has attached itself to my Firefox browser. Everytime I open Firefox to internet search this program uses pop-ups, insofar as they interfere completely from my research.
Hello Bill851, if you notice signs of malware on your system please try the following steps:
- Reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
- then go to firefox > addons > extensions and where there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
- Finally, run a full scan of your system with security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to ensure that adware is not present in other parts of your system as well.

Why do I get a script error whenever I try to open Firefox 4?
Since the recent Firefox 4 download, I get this message while trying to open my browser:
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script ends.
Script: chrome://tavgp/content/libs/include.js:595'
It gives me options to continue or to stop the script. When I choose to continue, nothing happens. When I select the stop script, Firefox opens. The thing that annoys me the most, is that there is a checkbox "don't ask me" which doesn't seem to work because I was clicking that every time.
It's the first time that this has happened for any version of Firefox.
Looks like one of your addons (possibly the AVG Security Toolbar addon) may be incompatible with Firefox 4. Try disabling the addon. You may need to open Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to do this.
