Wi - Fi satellite A355-S6925 disconnection problems

Hello

I've owned this phone for about 4 months now. It is running Vista and I encountered problems with the wireless network since then. I use a D-Link DIR-655 router. My problem is:
When they surf the internet, web pages will load quickly a minute and struggle to load the other and ultimately fail with a network disconnected to appear in the lower right icon. Network will reconnect automatically. No matter what time of the day or loacation in the House. Happening right next to the router.

Downloading files on the net, the network disconnects for 10 seconds and will reconnect automatically.

I have a Roku device connected to the network. Never, this device disconnects from the network. My only problem is that when the video steam in this block, I limited the ability surf on laptop. But no disconnects with Roku.

Wii is connected to the network. No disconnects with this device.

Wireless printer works very well.

Just a problem with the laptop. I googled this problem without success for an answer. Help, please. To witsend!

Connection signal strength: excellent all over the House, even next to 2.4gh Articles

Thanks in advance for your help.

Frank

In your case I would first update the WiFi drivers. You can find it on the Toshiba site and Akuma already post the link.

If you use Vista on your laptop, you must turn off the power save for the WLAN. This Toshiba document could be useful for you:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD84026Q0000R01.htm

Make sure the router and the laptop using the same standard WiFi, 802.11 g for example.

Last but not least try to update the BIOS.

I read often in the forum a driver and/or BIOS update is to fix the problem if it s worth a try. ;)

    Hi michael_fuglas,

    > My Toshiba Satellite A355-S6925 does not recognize a Lexar Platinum II 32 GB SDHC card class 4.
Hmm, I think that the card isn't recognized due the high capacity of 32 GB. As much I know 32 GB cards are not supported for all card readers

In your case, I would try a smaller size such as 4 GB or 8 GB. Generally these cards should always work.

  • Can not turn on my Satellte A355-S6925

    Hello

I got the Toshiba Satellite A355-S6925 laptop. Worked fine until yesterday when I tried to turn it on, but it was not.
I tried without battery & using other charger, but still, no response from the laptop. Just the AC power light lit up that's all. It was working fine until yesterday when I turn off it. I tried the trick of the landfill in now the power button / stop for 30 seconds, but useless.

Can someone help me? What could be the problem? I have scratched off the coast of the motherboard, but it was in the fine search. Last thing if the mobo is bad where I can get a new one? The motherboard model is THE KTKAA P. 4571

    Thanks in advance.

There is probably a problem with the power supply e placed on the motherboard.
New mobo? To be honest, I don't think you can get a new one, but refurbished.

Or you can try ordering one of the nearest Toshiba service provider or use Google for your country and I m you will find an online store where you can order one.

Check eBay as well. There are several pieces of hardware for Toshiba laptops.

  • Cannot connect by Satellite A355 for a Canon IP Pixma 5000 on a LAN

Recently, we purchased the Toshiba Satellite A355-S6925, which has the operating system Windows Home VISTA 64 bytes.
The Canon Pixma 5000 printer is directly related to a Windows XP-based computer by using the 32-bit operating system.

When I go to add a printer (Option LAN) the Toshiba sees Canon printer but then returns an error message that there is a bad driver. When you go to the next step, it says that it cannot find the correct "INF". I suppose the INF file is actually on the remote computer on which the printer is connected to. So a question, where is an INF printer on a Windows XP computer?

A test, I plugged the printer directly on the Toshiba and the loaded Toshiba driver the printer. I hoped that could solve my problem, but it didn't. When I tried to add the printer, once again, like a remote printer I got the same error message that it could not find the INF file.

The "Add a printer" Wizard see Canon printer on our LINUX computer. In fact when I added the printer connected to the LINUX computer, I can print from the Toshiba. While this works, it's a bad solution, because I'm still not able to print directly to the remote printer.

Another experiment, I tried to use the printer installation disc, this was rejected by the Toshiba since he was a pilot of 32 bytes. I also downloaded from the site Web of Canon driver 64 bytes, but once again the Add Printer Wizard said that there was a missing INF file... So I always assume that I need to point to an INF file that is located on the Windows XP computer?

    Any advise?

Great news and thanks for your comments!
On the State of ink, you may have to contact the manufacture of the printer.

    Good day!

  • Microphone of international satellite A355-S69403 does not

    I have a Toshiba Satellite A355-S69403.
When I try to use the internal microphone located at the top of the lid in the open (side) position, it will not work.

I tried to do activities such as talking with friends on MSN Messenger.
I tried to use the speech recognition program that came with my laptop, I tried to use accessibility in control whether Panel if my microphone is the problem.

When talking with my friends that they could see talk me on the webcam, but no noise near my voice was detected, instead they compared to alien-strange noises, because it makes strange clicking noises and others.
When I was with the sound recorder I heard the same thing, there is no interference of background noise or anything, it just clicks and sounds very restless and strange.

    Help, please

    Hello

The internal MIC is part of the webcam.
First, I think you should check if you can update the software of the webcam and the audio driver.
Satellite A355-S69403 is a Toshiba model that drivers should be downloaded from the Toshiba driver page we

I'm not sure if this will help, but I had some problems of its due to the WiFi.
The sound was choppy, and I got some interference.
After the update of the WLan driver, everything was ok.

Satellite L350 keeps disconnecting and then restart.
The fan is free from dust. I have reinstalled Windows
There is a new battery for 1 year

If the laptop is turned off, the battery can be charged. The laptop runs normally on the battery.
As soon as the power adapter is connected, the computer turns off.
When I use the computer without a battery but with the AC adapter, the computer shuts down. Test with a different AC adapter, the computer turns off.

If the cable between the motherboard and the CC is originally the problem whether it is unlikely?

Someone has an idea to help me with this problem?

    > From the moment when the AC adapter is connected, the computer turns off.
There must be some kind of electronic problem of power on the motherboard.
I put t think that the AC adapter is affected since you have already tested another (good job?) Power adapter.
I think in case of malfunction of the motherboard, the laptop fix can be a costly affair
The motherboard is one of the expensive parts for laptop and I think that that's not worth buying a new part for this old model of laptop.

  • Re: BSOD STOP: 0x0000007B on Satellite A355 and Win XP

    Hello

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite A355 of Costco in the States. I received the following error message when I tried to install XP:

    "STOP: 0X0000007B (0XF78D2524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000).

I applied the fix suggested by tony_roti in the thread "cannot install Win XP SP2 on Satellite A300 - 1 MM.

It seems to have worked as well on my A355.

The version of Costco of the machine comes with 2 hard drives of 250 GB.

I removed the disk of 250 GB with Vista installed on it.

I left the hot spare in the machine.

I changed the BIOS to boot from the CD
I changed the setting in the BIOS from AHCI to Compatible.

I reran install Windows XP SP2

At the appropriate level, I reformatted the hot spare from the module of XP SP2 with NTFS formatting.

    Then I installed Windows XP.

    ... Next up Boot Magic.

Thank you for having this forum he helped solve what could have been a show-stopper!

    Hello

I have a keyboard with Satellite P200, series PSPB6E problem.

Keyboard seems to generate Press Page Down constantly, although nothing has been paid to this subject.
It is even difficult to turn on laptop, because it produced consecutive beeps and prevents the computer from starting.

Sometimes some keyboard characters do not work, and in the second time it works. Sometimes same PgDown works as expected.
Œuvres for additional keyboard, but it also receives PgDown keyboard of the laptop.

Now, I can't insert any sentence in this post, because PgDown will move the cursor down.
Laptop is under warranty. Should I enable it?

I note that no. LIQUID is poured on the keyboard.

On the keyboard of the computer laptop not work keys A, B, N, LEFT SHIFT, INPUT, same brief moments where PgDown keys not dumping. Sometimes even these key works!

    Best regards

  • WRT54G disconnect problem

I've been a loyal user of Linksys (CISCO) since the purchase of my 1 Access Point wireless router and 4-port Switch (BEFW1154 v2) in 08/2002. I upgraded to a Linksys Wireless - G Broadband Router (WRT54G v8.00.2) 11/2007. My home wireless network supports; IBM Thinkpad (Windows XP) and Lenovo Ideapad (Windows VISTA Home Premium). A month ago I started having disconnect problems with the WRT54G. The two laptops have been disconnect it. At first I disconnected the supply WRT54G for about 1 minute then plugged in. This has not solved the problem of disconnection. I then tried to unplug the cable modem and power WRT54G. Wait about 1 minute and then reconnect the cable modem, allowing it to reset and synchronization. Then I plugged the WRT54G. This temporarily solved the problem for a few minutes but the disconnection problem returned. I have reset the WRT54G Setup factory default and reconfigured it to my home network. The disconnection problem was not solved by taking this action. I contacted Cablevision that provides my broadband Internet access. They could not identify a root cause of the problem of disconnection. To determine whether the root cause was another thing that the WRT54G, I reinstalled the BEFW1154. I did have a problem of disconnection from taking this action leading me to believe that the WRT54G is bad. I would appreciate any suggestion that could solve the problem of disconnection with the exception of a suggestion to buy a new router. Thank you

    Good to hear that!

  • Satellite A-L50-19N WiFi disconnection problem

Yesterday I bought this computer with Windows 8.1 installed. After each start, is to have the connection for a few minutes, then it always disconnects. It shows that the internet connection is active, but are not open pages in a browser. I tried updates drivers and nothing helped.

    Thanks for the tips.

    > It shows again that the internet connection is active, but are not open pages in a browser.

    (1) have you tested the internet connection using different internet browsers?
    I recommend doing this.

    (2) did you notice that this internet issues using the laptop with battery only or also running to the power outlet?

    (3) the laptop was equipped with an Atheros WB335 wireless network card. Try to update the driver WLan too.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

After that update of Windows 8 for Windows 8.1 WiFi disconnects regularly and if there is a connection
    the connection is limited.

I followed the update instructions I downloaded with the Windows 8.1 drivers.

Two weeks ago I've updated my Satellite U940-103 and everything went well. There is no problem with WLAN. I use it all the time.

What model of laptop do you have?
Have you installed the driver for the Toshiba download page or driver provided by Windows update (sometimes classified as important update)?

  • Satellite Pro C850 - strange problem with LAN connection

    Hello world

I just signed up on this forum because I hope you guys can help me with a really strange problem.

    I recently bought a Satellite Pro C850-1MX
It came with Win8, but given that I don't really like Win8, I bought an additional Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) license and installed on the laptop.

The problem I describe, also arrived on 8 to win, which makes it even more strange.

As soon as I connect a cable to the RJ-45 port, Windows tells me, that the LAN connection is not connected.
As soon as I unplug the cable, Windows starts looking for a network and actually found one!

So, the only way to connect to my LAN cable is... I have activate the LAN connection, wait that it detects a network (without the cable connected!) and meanwhile to connect the cable to the network port.
Now... If I disconnect the cable once again, Windows still shows its connected.

I must say, that I am a Director of professional network for more than 10 years now, so I should know my systems, but this never happened to me before. Event log shows nothing, re-installing drivers did nothing either. IM quite confused here and I hope you guys can help me.

Thanks for reading, and let me know if you need any additional info!

    Greetings from the Germany,
    Sandro

    Hello Sandro,

To be honest I confused m.

I would try to start talking about the drivers installed, since you changed the system for Win 7.
All the network devices, such as card WLan and LAN card are properly recognized in Device Manager?

As I m not wrong not the laptop was equipped with a network card Realtek-8111F (1000BASE-T/100Base-TX/10Base-T) and WLan RTL8723AE Realtek b/g/n card.
If both should appear in the device properly Manager if you have installed the drivers correctly.

    2nd question:
    You said:
    > As soon as I unplug the cable, Windows starts looking for a network and actually found one!
Are you sure that you speak of LAN and WLAN?
For me it made no further since. If the network cable is unplugged, the notebook would connect to the WLan where WiFi is enabled.

  • Satellite L650 Wireless disconnects and connection cannot be retrieved

    Hello everyone,

I have a connectivity problem with my 3 year old Satellite L650, Windows 7...

I have a LAN wireless in my house, so that my laptop will automatically connect at startup, without any problem.
After some time (it can be minutes or hours) it loses signal and disconnects.

This isn't a real problem, because the router is quite far from here, with walls between which can reduce the signal, so no surprises.
But I can't reconnect later: connection status icon stops working.

I mean it shows the image corresponding to "available wifi connections" or "connected but no internet access, but or by clicking on the icon or move the cursor of the mouse on it gives no output... it is responseless, and I can't connect to my wifi or any other wireless network.

I tried to do it from the control panel - network and sharing Center, but the story is the same, the two "set up a new connection or network" and "connect to a network" is not responding when you click on it.
The only way to connect is to restart the pc.

    How can I solve this?

    Any suggestion is appreciated,
    Thank you!

    > The only way to connect is to restart the pc.
In case this question is repeated once again, try to refresh and renew the IP address.

Go to the console (in the type of search CMD)
Now use the command: ipconfig / renew

After this attempt to connect to the Wlan again.

In which case it would not be useful, I recommend you to change the settings of the router.
I mean that you need to reset the router. Then, you need to test with different types of protection Wlan Wlan connectivity and other standard Wlan (802 11 B G or N)

Test also the laptop with open WiFi. I mean, you must disable the encryption settings of the router. But this is only for testing purposes.
The WiFi network must always be secure.

  • Satellite L500-1UU - disconnect the battery when it is connected to the AC adapter / CC

    Hello world

I have purshaced new Toshiba Satellite L500-1UU
    CPU: Intel (r) Core i3 CPU M330 2.13 GHz
    Physical memory: 4096MB RAM
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 6.1.7600

My question is: remove the battery when I use my computer laptop while its connected to the AC adapter would be wise or not? This would increase or decrease the life of the battery, or it will not affect anything?

Is i3 processors have a technique of centrino disconnect battery power whent, it is fully charged?

What do you think of this?

    Hi Khaild Essam,

I agree with Akuma. There is no problem, remove the battery when the AC/DC adapter is connected. If you can do it. In addition the battery charge will be stopped if it s at full charge. The laptop consumes energy to AC/DC adapter only.

If you remove the battery and work with AC/DC adapter only, the battery life will be improved a little because it s not in its use.

I found an interesting document for you:

  • Satellite E300 - USB disconnect upon awakening from sleep

I have a problem with my Satellite E300 with USB disconnected to the waking from sleep. I use a flash drive and an external hard drive with files that I'm trying to work. I often leave the files on the pending flash player and the computer goes to sleep while they are still open.

My problem comes when the computer wakes up to sleep because it will always unplug the flash drive as the computer wakes. I'll hear the disconnection and reconnection of the sounds and I got warnings on flash drive will not be disconnected safely. I even had the corruption of files on a couple of occasions.

I can't find anything in the power settings that works to stop this. My last computer never had this problem (LG), if a USB drive is connected when he went to sleep he would always be connected when he awoke.

USB remains connected, although he is asleep because I can use my USB mouse to wake the computer, but unplug it during the process of awakening. I searched on the net for solutions to this problem, there are others with the same problem, but nobody seems to have a solution that works.

    Hello

Try turning off the energy saving for USB controllers.
In Device Manager, choose the USB Controllers-> properties-> last tab (power management)
Here uncheck the allow option to turn off the device to save energy
