• Black screen when launching games... ANY GAME!

  Whenever I try to run a game starts, the screen flashes a few shades of black and then stays that way. I have to ctrl + alt + del to pull up the Task Manager and it shows that the program is not responding. 'End task' won't stop him.   According to the Windows 7 Compatibility Center , none of the games you listed appear as "Compatible" they all show as "pending information."  However, some of them were made for Vista, so it is very likely that they will run on Windows 7.  You should check with the manufacturers of games and see if there is any patches\updates for the games.
  I suggest that you work on one game first.  First of all, make sure that your drivers are in fact Windows 7 drivers.  You can have the most recent driver, but it is not for Windows 7.  Also, make sure that you have updated all your hardware drivers not only the video (sound card, chipset, etc...).  Uninstall one of the games, and then reinstall it.  When you install it actually browse the CD for the configuration file and right click and run in compatibility mode for Vista.  See if that helps.   You can reduce hardware acceleration and check if the problem persists:

  1. right click on the desktop and choose personalize.

  2. click on display settings.

  3. in the display settings window, click on advanced settings.

  4. display the Troubleshooting tab.

  5. click on change settings.

  6 reduce hardware acceleration.

• Tecra 8100: OpenGL problems with the game

  At the present time, I have a laptop Toshiba 8100, PIII, with Windows XP version 2002, 597 MHz, 256 MB Ram, with a Board of grahics MX Savage S3 Graphics Inc.. Hasving recently bought a Medal of Honor "Allied Assault" PC game, loading, I receive the following error message:
  "GLW Start Open i() - could not load open GL subsystem.

  I installed 8.0 only were recemmended DirectX 8.1 drivers. If the problem is my graphics card, maybe you could recommend a suitable with the approximate price guide.

  If I had to update my graphics card the 8100 would be powerful enough and would need to change anything else?

  This game is very complex and graphics card performance. Unfortunately, the generation of graphics card in your Machine is not powerful enough. Sorry, but I think there is no way to update your graphic card.

  What you can do, is to change some parameters of the game (low resolution, no details or something like that).

  In order to be able to run PC games on my iMac using Fusion-VM, I was obliged to purchase Windows 7 like Windows 7 on my PC was an upgrade. Despite the fact that the Ministry of HEALTH ran under Fusion using Windows XP, which is entered on my PC, now when I try to run MOH I'm greeted by a message indicating that Windows has encountered a problem (not identified), but will seek a solution. It was more than four weeks ago but still no word from Microsoft. Oh yes, Age of Empires is running, you don't know.

• HP Pavilion x 2 11-h003sa: problems of feature app suite 8.1 for Windows upgrade

  I recently bought a HP Pavilion x 2 11-h003sa 2 in 1 laptop / tablet.  This happened with Windows 8, and I decided to accept the free update for Windows 8.1. Since then, several applications, including purchased apps, don't work properly when they worked well on Windows 8.  Please note I applied all the updates of Windows available, app updates, and I made sure that they are compatible with our firewall.  When possible, I uninstalled then reinstalled the apps. The problem is the following:

  The following applications are affected: Angry Birds, Star Wars, Star Wars assault team and (the pre installed) Instruments of Fingertaps.  When these applications are enabled, the screen is blank.  The app reappears only when the charms bar is swept to the right of the screen.  If I then try to touch the screen to use the app, the screen will become immediately empty.  I have to turn on the charm bar to close application completely to return to the menu start applications are, therefore, unnecessary.  The pre-installed app of monopoly is even worse, as activate that translates a blank screen and only closing the app will go back to the start menu.  I want to stress that all these applications worked fine before the upgrade to Windows 8.1. The retailer (PC World) never met such an error before and suggested that I try to solve online.

  I also noticed that sometimes after use, the touch screen and the Windows Start button simply stop working, and I have to close the Tablet and restart in order to get this resolved.  I've not owned this computer long enough to comment if it had been a problem before the upgrade to tp Windows 8.

  I look forward to the ideas or if someone has experienced something similar.  I'm regretting upgrading to Windows 8.1, like the ease of use of a piece of expensive hardware and otherwise excellent has been compromised by this upgrade.

  Hi Toastcartoons1. Looks like it may be driver related. The mode indicated update that you must install the latest drivers before the update when possible.  Update your PC HP Windows 8 Windows 8.1

  Perhaps you can identify opportunities, update drivers that may have an impact on the applications that you have problems with. The most likely candidate is graphic.  Before the graphic driver, I recommend trying the update of the first Chipset:

  Driver and Intel Chipset Installation utility
  High definition (HD) of Intel Graphics Driver

  After installing both and restarting, try to re-create the issue. If you can, then reininstall the problematic applications and try again.

  If you want to revert to Windows 8, this is the procedure: performing a recovery of HP (Windows 8) system

  Hi guys, so I just the Medal Of Honor Allied Assault WarChest because I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to play this great game again, but there is a slight problem and the problem is the origin of the Medal Of Honor Allied Assault works and plays well, but the expansion Packs do not work and I can not play for some reason any after that I installed the two iron of lance and pierced, I tried to play, but when the game launches it takes me to this black screen and there and when I click on my mouse after numerous amounts of time I expected something at the Start Up it takes back Me to my office. And when I tried to run the game again, there is this Option that appears indicating something how the game crashed for the first time, giving Me the Options of restarting my computer, launch the game Safe Mode and run the game in Normal Mode. What is going on?

  Updated/patched two iron spearhead and breakthrough (did not work)

  -J' I already updated my drivers and the graphics card (did not work)

  -Do you have DEP (Data Execution Prevention) (did not work)

  -Patched/updated the Original Medal Of Honor Allied Assault to the latest Version (did not work)

  -Tried to go with what everyone says about put or replace this thing OpenGL32 in, (did not work) but in my GALIMA file I see this 3dfxgl.dll thing which is already there after the Installation What's Up with that?

  Any help would be appreciated, because I really want to go back to play this great game, thanks!

  OK I actually the two Expansion Packs work after knowledge what was going on, what I did was the following (it sounds horrible, but it works)

  -J' have deleted/trashed the Original GALIMA. EXE in the game folder in Program Files in the recycling bin (do NOT empty the trash after you delete the original GALIMA. (EXE)

  - Then I renamed GALIMA moh_spearhead.exe. EXE then she worked for spearhead, doing the same for the moh_breakthrough as well if you want to play breakthrough because it has worked for me.

  -When you have finished playing one of these Expansion Packs rename them their original name and then go to the Recycling Bin and do a right-click of the MURIEL Original. EXE and restore it if you want to play The Original Allied Assault.

  I know that sounds kind of awkward, and I Hope It help anyone with this problem, but if someone has another way, go ahead and fire out I would appreciate it.

  I bought Medal of Honor Allied Assault Warchest by origin, and when I try to start a breakthrough, it is by original defect to the Allied attack. I checked all the shortcuts and I can't find anything wrong. I found the executable in the file of the original games and I tried this way, instead of launching of the original games page, and it loads the original game as well. Is this a known issue or if someone else has had this problem?

  Well, we can set up incoming and outgoing calls with no problems during this test phase, but we will succeed voice entering.

  We don't have voices coming out of the voice gateway.

  We checked with the ISP and we see the RTP of ISPS to Cisco 2911Voice gateway traffic, but we did not see packets RTP voice to the ISP gateway.

  In fact, it was not all RTP packets arriving at the voice gateway on the internal network.

  Might be a routing problem?

  Internal CUCM and phones require Ip routing SIP from the ISP server access? If I understand correctly the devices internal only need to know how to get to the voice gateway Cisco2911, so it can function as a Proxy traffic and route to the SIP server?

  1. There is a routing problem: IP phones should see the route to the ISP, even if they are inside a NAT.

  2. If you want that:

  -Just IP phones reach the 2911 and IP of 2911 present the call to the ISP.

  -the Loopback0 bring the H323

  - And the int GigabitEth 0/0 for the SIP

  then

  Configure the 2911 as a CUBE in path mode

  Use the redirection ip2ip

  Configure dspfarm on the 2911

  3 also check this:

  If you have not seen all the voice gateway to ISP RTP packets

  Then

  -Check if the transport of the ISP session is TCP or UDP.

  -Set up a GUY on the 2911 to check the communication between the {2911 and ISP} and {2911 and CCM}

• Unrecognized WIC: WIC-1ADSL-DG, 1751 & 12.3 (13)

  Hello

  I have a WIC-1ADSL-DG card that I am trying to install on a 1751. The router detects that there is an installed WIC, but cannot recognize what it is. The router is running 12.3 (13) (c1700-k9o3sy7 - mz.123 - 13.bin).

  I know that the crack doesn't work I used a single port Ethernet WIC without problems.

  I tried:

  -2 types of card WIC-1ADSL-DG (same result)

  -The two Slot 0 and Slot 1 (same result)

  -Several versions of IOS:

  -c1700-advsecurityk9 - mz.123 - 13.bin (same result)

  -c1700-k9o3sy7 - mz.123 - 13.bin (same result)

  I was under the impression that all I need to use was an IOS which explicitly stated that it contained all of the features ADSL (for example, IP/DSL MORE) or as "y7" contained in the name of the IOS.

  Has anyone else had similar problems?

  Hardware not recognized is mainly caused by the application of a bad IOS image.

  When I checked the following URL:

  It seems to me that you may need IOS 12.3 T instead of the main line. Please see the section on software support to see what I mean. If you are able to get this type of image, it might be useful try it.

• ACL FTP connection problem

  I have a problem with the ACL I have FTP transmitted by PAT to an internal server on my border router. I have a pretty extensive ACLs that refuses the spider servers and some beaches I know senders of junk e-mail. The problem in FTP. When the ACL is applied to my external interface (fa0/1) I can not connect via FTP. When I drop the group access, I can connect to FTP a-okay. When the ACL is applied all my other services work as well (http on port 1337, ssh, PPTP, IRC and teamspeak - 9987 UDP). Here is my config. Any help will be highly appreciated:

  Medal of Honor works very well, but expansion packs, pierced and the spearhead will not work on windows 8

  error messeges are "WGL_3DFX_gamma_control not found".

  I don't have a dedicated got graphics card intel HD 4400 found in Inspiron 15r laptop computer
