Widgets on Droid Motorola

I have the original Droid, but today, I put my hand on Droid 2 a friend... I love the bike Widgets! Is it possible to get them on the original Droid? My contract is not for me to get a new phone for about a year.

Currently, the 'OG' droid can't stand blur. I don't know if off that Droid will always support blur. I like really the look and feel of blur, but I highly doubt Motorola (and google) will push an update with blur in there to our droid

  • Motorola widgets

There are a bunch of these (Motorola Widgets as opposed to downloaded Widgets) that come with the phone, where can we get more?

The Motorola Widgets are widgets included with MOTOBLUR, and there is no way to install more that already exist. They could be added as a patch, but there is no way to install them yourself.

Family room Widgets are widgets for the purposes of the family room which is pre-installed on the phone. Same situation applies for BLUR widgets.

The Android Widgets are gadgets that came with the phone or the widgets that you have installed from Android Market. You can add them as you will you please, but you cannot remove those who are on the phone by default.

I have a number of order confirmation, but this status has not changed in nearly two weeks.

I ordered a battery mod and two style mods and got an estemated date 8/8. Ever so I'm on a cat through the site of the motorcycle and they told me I would have them by 8/10 and send an email with tracking numbers once he sent.

I have not had a tracking number so I don't think sick them see by tomoorrow 8/10.

When I check the status of my order they say always under construction...

I just ordered mods... I feel bad for the people that 'pre' ordered phones and still have not received them.

    Hi people,

I am truly sorry for the inconvenience with the orders, but please do not start new threads before searching for existing threads on the same topic. It causes congestion on the site and makes it harder for us to follow a folder. There is already a lengthy discussion on this here, please post here, s thank you very much for understanding.

@cbironman24, I'm going to escalate the issue, it will be checked soon.

  • Car charger for Droid - my profile

I know that the original charger has a 850 spec mA, but most car chargers do not (as well as most wall Chargers).  Search, I see two contradictory principles.  One is that a slower presentation for lithium batteries is actually better for the life of the battery.  Yet others say that if the charger does not know that the unit will try to attract, the charger can overheat and may fail.  The manual of Motorola said only that for battery charging you must use Motorola Chargers, but shippers listed on the for the Droid Motorola Web site do not meet the 850 my and are of course chargers for another model.  Motorola someone all advice on that?

I gave you a clear answer.   It is that the full current nominal is 850ma.  The two instructions that you seem to find contradictory are not.   The droid needs 850ma to recharge his rhythm quickest.  It will load more slowly with lower currents or perhaps not at all.  The droids (and other smartphones) need more or less depending on what they do and 850ma provides enough to load and do something else.

It is what is the charger supplied to you and what the relative rating that it was.  I think that if you buy a Motorola charger they support for the Droid, he will say that.  The warranty says only to use Motorola Chargers.  (although I personally don't always follow it) and, as Motorola brings many cell phones (some with the same connector)... Make sure that the charger you get specifically States it is intended to be used with the droid.

I also told him that you could use a charger with less than 850 ma, but it will not load as fast.  If you go down, it will be not at all.

Yes, Motorola made 850ma rated Chargers.  Is one supplied with your phone. You can read the right side on it.  It's the 'exit' not heat output.  Chargers for smart phones of all types are usually 850ma.   I suspect that what is meant by 'Fast rate' is that they put out the 850ma that is needed.  The Chargers that work as low as 500ma can work in some cases, but I don't recommend them.

Just in case you need a final bit of clarity... 850ma puts the charger supplied with the droid by Motorola.    I don't know of a smartphone seller with less than 850ma charger which comes with their phones either.

  • Motorola Droid 2 more Widget photo frame

Hello: Anyone knows how to make the image widget play photos from the record that an image? Is this possible or am I just spinning my wheels? I am able to get up on a screen, but beyond that every time that I try to point to a folder it just displays an image in the phone in a random order. Thanks for any help.

    Hello:

I found a solution in the Android Market. The app"frame turtle Photo"available for free on the market allows you to do exactly what I was asking everything. It is quick and easy. Also on my Droid 2 since I have 7 different home screens I can have a different image on the different home screens by using different folders. I tried on two different screens, and it worked fine. Check it out.

    Thank you Michael

  • When Motorola Droid Ultra will support?

Not currently on the list of devices supported.

    Hi MAB5,.

There is currently no intention to create an official port of Firefox OS of the Motorola Droid ultra.

However, the Firefox OS is a system open source where users and contributors can attempt their own peripheral ports that are not officially supported. Please keep in mind that there is a risk of bricking a device in this way.

For more information on porting your own version of the Firefox OS, you will find the following link:

We hope that you will find this information useful. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you!!

  • Can I charge Motorola Razr Maxx with Samsung Galaxy J5 charger Droid

Motorola officially only supports the Chargers of the bike, but you should work fine. Some chargers are not armored and others, and you can see interference of the touchscreen when the charger is connected.

But there are thousands of 3rd party chargers that work very well, and any style USB 5v charger should work if it's a reliable brand.

  • Motorola Widget settings updated

I'm having a hard time to modify the Widgets Motorola once they are in place. For example, if I want to delete one number for a contact in the contact widget or update the syndicated news feed. I guess I'm missing something obvious and it's my first Android device. So bear with me here!

For your widgets contacts you will need their trash and then redo the widget.

Social widgets and news widgets, you must clear all of the messages on the widget and type to change the settings.

To add to what no. Mo suggested:

When I plug into the USB port with the Droid line begins the synchronization operation, but photos latest I took don't yield.  What can I do?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi dlynch211,

This can happen if some synchronization settings have changed in Motorola Droid. You can try to check the synchronization settings and see if it helps.
