• Intel WiDi does not connect

  I have a dual boot Windows 7 laptop with Intel WiDi 8/Windows installed under the two BONES.  The WiDi works very well by putting with a Belkin Screencast on the Windows 7 operating system.  It does not connect (scanning does not detect the Belkin) on the Windows 8 operating system.  I've updated the Windows 8 and Windows 7 WiDi such installation as recommended by Intel

  Thank you, Mr. Intel. As of today the Belkin Screencast is finally back up and running with the new driver Intel Centrino Advanced N-6235 8.1 Windows located on the Intel web site. Beware if you need to update manually from the web site that you choose the suitable driver for your version of Windows 8.1, i.e., either 32-bit or 64-bit (although if you choose the wrong, I do not think that it will allow you to install it, so you'll be sure).

  You must also remove the first device to 'TV' that appear in the Windows printers and devices.

  Connection is through the Windows 8.1 "Charms" bar, choose «Belkin Screencast»

  Good luck. I think that others are still not successful, but for me - it works really well.

  Thank you for the information. Have you had time to try one of the steps in the previous document I sent to resolve universal WLAN errors? Please follow the steps described in this document to make sure that the WIFI network connects correctly.

  I read your post about the problems with your Envy 7640 in Win10 printer and wanted to help.

  The problem is that by default HP print drivers installed by the upgrade of Win10 often do not work.  I have two HP printers and neither one worked after the Win10 upgrade.  We also receive a lot of messages of other people with the same problems.

  You must download and install the full feature software and drivers for the printer.
  
  Then unplug the printer and install the software.
  
  Do reconnect the printer until the installation program invited to do so.
  
  Once the installation is complete, restart.
  
  You should then be able to use your printer in Win10.

• Envy DV7 HP: HP DV7 Envy your PC need to be repaired a required device is not connected

  I have 10 Windows on my HP DV7 envy.  When I turn it on I get the error "Your PC need to be repaired a necessary device is not connected."

  None of the keys work, which means I can't select startup options or select System Restore.  It just brings back me to the blue screen with the error message. So I can not try all options, I found on the internet that are made not boot master book or disable secure boot record.

  I ran the tests of memory and fast disk, as someone else suggested that memory may be bad.

  (HP please don't answer back Windows 10 is not supported.)  Microsoft has given to all customers of Windows 8. Besides it is not at all compared to the question, since the system cannot not even load the operating system.)

  I fixed that basically like this:

  1. safe mode in the bios
  2. change the boot order to put USB in the front
  3. Install Ubuntu from USB, so erase Windows

  I got stuck because I had copied the Ubuntu ISO was not a complete file.

  No doubt I could able recover if I asked HP ship me a replacement disc for Windows 8.1

  Also, I learned that you press f8, f9, f10 or f11 when you turn on the computer.  You must wait until the screen goes to sleep again and repower the computer to switch to another option.  Now key people will work until you do this.

However, when my second attempt to use I'm unbale to connection and keep the message ' your PC is offline. Please sign in with the last password used on this computer. "I use the right passowrd-because I have just set up and now I can't get past the login screen! It's really frustrating, what should I do?

  I understand that your notebook is 2 weeks old and you can not connect to it.  This is a document about what to do when you forget your password (Windows 8) connection.  You have an option to do a factory reset from the HP Recovery Manager. Performing a recovery of HP (Windows 8) system. Please let me know if you would like any further assistance.

  My HP Envy 120 died today after only 13 months. Bought the 5530 want to replace. My Macbook running lion 10.7.9 impossible to install the software of Apple, HP or the disc drive. Please someone tell me what to do. It seems crazy that each site recommend one for download. If the download n 't possible that they would be kind enough to give me an error message. life is too short for all that. Have installed ink cartridges, but will be back tomorrow if I can't make it work. Need a printer! Thank you very much for ANY help! Very grateful in advance.

  I would like to help you today with the installation of your new HP ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one printer on your Mac OS X 10.7. There is a chance that the old remains of your HP Envy 120 drivers cause a conflict when you try to install this new printer Envy. Can I please have you follow the steps below to solve these conflicts to occur.

  Step 1: Resetting the printing system:

  To begin, I will have you reset the printing system on your Mac because it is important that we have a pleasure to work with for troubleshooting clean slate. Please click herefor instructions on how to perform the reset. When the website opens, follow the steps under 'Reset the printing system in OS X Lion'. This Reset deletes each printer on your Mac. However, it does not uninstall printers. Therefore, if use you other printers on the Mac, once the reset is complete simply make sure printers are attached via a USB cable or connected network and (+) add hide them in. do not add your HP Envy in at this time.

  Once the reset is complete, proceed to the next step.

  Step 2: Uninstall the drivers and software:

  Please click here to find out how to properly uninstall your printer. Once the site opens, select the drop-down menu 'Mac OS X v10.6, OS X v10.7, OS X v10.8 and OS X v10.9' and follow the steps to complete uninstallation. This should clean up any software and drivers for your old HP Envy 120 institutions.

  Once the uninstall is complete, please continue on.

  Step 3: Check and repair your Mac disk permissions:

  1. Open Macintosh HD and go to Applications
  2. Go to the Utilities folder
  3. Open disk utility
  4. Select the hard disk volume, you use (usually on the left)
  5. Select verify disk permissions
  6. Once this process is complete, select repair disk permissions

  Step 4: Check the Apple updates: 

  1. Go to the Apple
  2. Select System Preferences
  3. Select software update
  4. Click update now
  5. Install your available updates
  6. Computer restart

  Step 5: Install the drivers:

  1. Please click here to download the latest full-function software package and the driver for your printer
  2. Once the site opens click on the download button at the top left
  3. Once the download is complete, follow the steps on the screen to install your new HP Envy

  Once installed successfully, your HP Envy, please try printing and scanning to ensure the full functionality of the product.

• New HP Envy DV6 - 7202SE does not connect.

  Hi, I bought a HP Envy DV6 - 7202SE 2-3 weeks, everything was working fine and one day the Wireless does not work...

  All other devices in my house (IPAD, iphone, Android phones) thus communicate them with the Linksys WRT120N router, but my laptop does not connect.

  I tried with the network cable and he surfed the net fine, but the Wireless does not work.

  It also shows the name of the network in the list of available networks, but as soon as I connect it after you enter the authentication key, the connection is not successful.

  I even formatted the computer to its factory settings, but still it does not connect. I checked Device Manager and the drivers updated and everything goes well it... but it does not connect to this router. I tried to connect to my wireless router and it works perfectly... but with Linksys WRT120N router it has stopped working suddenly. Do I have to update the firmware?

  Disable the security on the router and connect temporarily without security.  If successful, go back and add WPA2-AES and try again.

• HP Envy 110 All In One printer: HP Envy 110 series does not connect to Web Services

  I had the printer a number of years and it works very well. I wanted to set up the service of replacement with HP ink, but apparently the "Web Services" are not put in place?

  The iprint app refuses to implement. (says it is not connected to the internet and it is!)  I have tried restore factory settings and delete and reinstall on my laptop, nothing helps. I tried to enter the ip address in the browser, but it still does this end no more.

  I read on the web-services and wanted to stop doing you to share my suggestions.

  As of September 1, 2016, Web Services stop working and are no longer supported on some printers. I'm afraid that your printer is on the list and therefore not compatible with web services. The function ePrint and other web services are not available on this printer.

  As an alternative to HP ePrint, go to Google Cloud Print (in English) to set up your printer as printer 'classic' to use Google Cloud print with your printer.

• Envy 15 t-j100 Select Edition: the device is not connected to the computer. Please insert the authentication device.

  So I'm working on a LT desire that has been upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10 recently and it is this message on the login screen "the device is not connected to the computer. Insert the authentication device. We can't identify what it means or what needs to be done to clear the screen. The user States that the fingerprints of impression of BIO sensor doesn't seem to work either. I looked in the Device Manager, and I see a Synaptics PS sensors (WBF) listed here and is properly installed. I even updated the driver of sensor ep on the support site of the desire, and we still see on the login screen.

  Y at - it no information or help to clear this message?

  We also note that the number on the keypad lock seems to be disabled during startup of windows 10 upwards. Before on windows 8.1 has been activated. Is there any setting to 10 to keep the active number lock.

  The user says if 10 can be made to work well, then we can go back to 7 or 8.

  Seems to have been resolved in re - install the software HP Simple pass then go and reconfigure the settings. Message no longer appears on 10. User LT installed with 7 however. Best decision.

  4520 nine will recognize my home network and I put the password correctly, but it does not connect.  Went all out and under tension, but without success. Never had such a problem with other devices. I printed a diagnostic of the printer which suggests some issue with MAC address filtering on my sky router but have never enabled MAC address on my router filtering - a) would not have any idea how he b) have never had this problem with other devices then why now? Help please

• HP 5530 Envy: Would print not; Software reinstalled now printer will not connect

  I printed 2 pages of a document and another need.  When I went back to try to print again, it got stuck and would not take the step to go to HP ePrint.  I tried 2 other times.  Then I cancelled all print jobs 3 and tried to print something different.  Jobs canceled is stuck trying to cancel, and the other document would not print.

  I checked the edits and reinstalled the printer software.  Then I unplugged the printer, and it wouldn't reconnect.

  I uninstalled the software, reinstalled, printer does not connect.

  Restarted the computer, printer does not have to connect.

  I had this problem before, but not for a while.  I guess it's a problem with Windows 10.  I was going to make the resolution of the problems, but it is configured for Windows 8.1.

  I ended up going to the support page for my printer, so the link that you sent in step 3 of solution 1.  I looked through the help desk, but they do not have my problem.  Then, from there, I stopped using these steps and went to the software and drivers link to see if something was missing.  It shows all of the software I have access to, but it is not very clear from this first page on what I actually need to add.  I downloaded the HP Printer Wizard and follow these steps, and now my problem is solved.  However, at the end of step 2, he said that if my printer was connected to the radio, I should stop troubleshooting.

  As I said before, it was not a matter of my printer is not not on my wireless connection.  When I double click the icon of the printer front and selected 'add a new printer' he would not this process.  The wireless never disconnected.  The rest of my computer just not see it.  While I was with the installation wizard, he says that most of the drivers were there but some elements were not, so that solved the problem.

  Thank you for your help.  Although not exactly what I asked, you still have the page that solved my problem.

  I am struggling to understand why my printer could easily connect to my old Nokia hotspot (windows mobile 7) and connects ok with my girlfriends Iphone, but my new phone Microsoft Lumia 550 (10 Windows phone) and my Android (HTC desire 620 4.4.4) works phone have no chance.

  The system hangs right on the connection bar waiting and there is no user added to two phones do not connect the list of users. Eventually it times out and I wonder to record the details of connection for the next time.

  I tried to answer Yes and no to this question, tried to restart the system, reset to the default values of the parameters.

  The thing was great when I had my old Nokia, I can use my Iphone gfs but it is not all the time.

  I understand that it is more probably a phone number because it can connect to some phones, I was wondering if theres a problem known and if everything will work well resolution for get my lumia or even my HTC.

  I bought a FANCY 5530 yesterday and followed the instructions for setting up wireless. It prints and scans. However, it does not connect to Web Services. One suggestion is that it may require a proxy server details: How can I get these details? I'm not aware that I use a proxy server for internet connection. What can I do, please?

  After a pratting very long on this labyrinthine web site, I was allowed to telephone support. The solution has been offered instantly, which suggests that it is certainly not unusual. Here's what to do:

  1 assuming you can communicate with your printer, open its IP address in the browser.

  2. Select the tab 'network '.

  3. Select "network address (IP)" in the list on the left.

  4. enter 8.8.8.8 as the preferred manual server.

  5. enter 8.8.4.4 as auxiliary manual DNS server.
