WIFI connection not found on new s205

Hello

I hope someone can help me... I just bought a new laptop s205 and it does not find the connection Wireless in my apartment. The wireless feature is enabled on the laptop and it is another link in the building but did not find my router.

I use another laptop which connects to the wifi perfectly, and so do other devices, but my new laptop just has not even listed.

I tried to connect via the Ethernet cable which works fine, but I want to use wireless. If someone can help me to work on the problem I'd be very grateful - I tried to find an answer in the other posts, but I can't find exactly the same problem. Please use some basic terms that I am certainly far from an expert

Thanks in advance!

Problem solved of YIPEEEEE! I called my ISP and after changing of many parameters, I'm now operational wireless!

The problem was that my router has been configured as WEP, and apparently for many new computers, it will not work, it must be rather WPA - as soon as I changed this setting it detected my router immediately.

Thanks for your time anyway - and I hope that this solution will be useful for others = 0)

  • HP Deskjet 3520 on WiFi: "printer not found."

    Hello!

I just got the 3520 the other day and after installation (an incredible experience frustrating - why the hell is there no communication between the configuration of the computer and the configuration of the actual printer?) everything worked fine. I got to the top and running on my WiFi and it printed fine.

A day later, after being idle, I tried printing again and this time everything I had was that the printer cannot be found (from the printer queue dialog box). I turned the printer on and out, still nothing. Then, I checked all the settings (the convenience store has suggested that my printer could not be on the same network), however the printer and the computer are on the same network. What bothers me is that it works great and then all of a sudden, without any changes to the network settings, there no. I reinstalled the driver and everything was fine, even with the configuration of the printer, when it comes to the last step in configuring the printer is not found. After trying for an hour, I gave in and opted for the USB connection. However, its quite bitter because I have several computers, I would like to connect to the printer.

Mac is generally good enough looking for printer, but I suspect that the printer settings changed by your router.  Are - what you happened to notice the printers IP address when you initially it running and if it was changed later?  We see that happen sometimes.

You can see the IP address of the printer by pressing the button on the printer wireless.

If the IP address does not change, we will want to either get the router to always give the same address or have the printer set up to always use the same address.

    Hi @bemused59,

The message on the "Home" of the NETGEAR engineering page indicates that the device you are using does not have a wireless adapter, or you turn off / disabled. If you are using a laptop, it is possible that there a physical wireless switch that must be turned on and off. I recommend the manual for it.

  • HP laptop - 15-ac126tx: 15-ac126tx wifi connection not identified and not Internet

    Hello

I bought a new laptop with windows 10(64bit) and tried to connect to my wifi at home. But he kept having network as "not identified" with the limited connections icon. Same thing with ethernet connection. I'm sure this isn't my router, I have my desktop and mobile on wifi and ethernet and they work, although they are windows 7. My mobile office with windows 8 also connects very well.

Here is the screenshot of HP Network Diagnostics. I tried "update driver", download fresh drivers from the HP site , reset, re and uninstall drivers install them, disable firewall and all that... With a lot of work around, I was able to update windows and Support from HP who invited to download drivers and other things... All this and yet the results of sam.

IP of Windows Setup (ignore Ethernet 2 because it's my mobile access point). For some reason, it doesn't auto IP from the router.

    Hey,.

I got this resolved!  I hade to call to the ISP provider and it reset the router for me. The type of connection to the router has been "Sylvie", that has worked well for all systems prior to windows 10. Now it has changed to "PPoP creds with everthing. This is done, restart the router, set the system to get the automatic IP address.

    Trobuleshooting as follows:

-If you set your IPV4 IP and DNS IP manually and who gets your laptop computer conencted then the above solution will work for you.

  • Spectrum 360: wifi connection very erratic on new spectrum 360

I bought a Lenovo - Yoga 3 Pro 2-in-1 13.3 "laptop touchscreen - Intel Core M - 8 GB - 256GB Solid State Drive - silver and I loved it. The problem was when I was out of my house, I get a bar or lose internet connetion. Other mobile home do not have a problem connecting to the internet. Happened to a fine is a problrm that seems to affect Lenovo laptops.

Given that I hated return this impressive to have machine this is a no-go. In any case looking for another solid state rocket I decided (based on reviews) buy HP spectra.

    HP - Spectrum x 360 2-in-1 13.3 "laptop touch screen - Intel Core i7 - 8 GB memory - 256 GB Solid State Drive

From the first day I had real problems of connection points critical wi - fi locations. At home their seems to be no problem, but at Starbucks, work and other places is hit or miss. Sometimes, it will connect after that several attempts like power off and then on. Best Buy tried to tweek it by removing something?

When I called HP I was routed to the India (I think) and I tried my best to understand the person on the phone but he spoke a strange language! Evertime I would like to ask a question or make a suggestion as to what I thought, maybe that's the problem, he put me on hold and have to ask someone to the answer. We went back - and - forth with my questions and sound (please hold on for 2 or 3 minutes, I need to ask someone) for almost an hour. His answer would be to check the router, duh my router at home works fine and I'm not having this problem with other laptops. It is everplace else. I asked if I should check each router of all the places I visit. Have you tried to reboot your PC? Really?

From me with little computer experience so it was clear that this person had NO experience in the computer! HP let me talk with an EXPERT or at least someone who is compassionate. I had no choice but to hang on.

Calling new HP at Best Buy and others could not understand the problem. I was even once connected to the India but this time, a woman with a strong accent. Apparently, she looked at my previous complaints that I was trying to explain the problems I've always had. Before I could say anything, that she said, you don't have a problem with Wi - Fi, you have a problem from router then to call the router manafacture. I said that I was on my place of work and that my another PC Asus laptop and other portable of peoples are not having problems. She would not listen to reason and said at this time you do not have a problem then call the manafacture burped and it will solve your connection problem! This does not work HP!

I and others who have tried to solve this PC. I tried a system restore to the factory, (it is a joy to have to reload all my programs. I have down loaded drivers and a lot more in fact, I tried everything you read on the forms of HP and nothing!

I paid $1150,00 plus tax for this PC and now will have to take a loss and sell because I can't afford to not have a working pc. I'm done trying to fix this and will not pay to have a new HP PC fixed!

I have the x 360 as well, different model

The way I solved it my network problems (and bluetooth) was to buy an adapter USB Bluetooth Asus on Amazon about $19.00 and an adapter USB 802.11b/g/n/ac Realtek (Premiertek) for about $20.00.

I'm done buying HP because I buy the equipment to make it usable. By the way, don't ask me how, but having a 802.11 USB card operation seems to make everything more quickly, or maybe it's turning off the integrated network adapter which makes the computer work better.

Bottom line: more pain less free fix is to get the USB adapter. I can't treat their speaking Erdu of technical support, it's a shame, HP leaves no American jobs in their tech support: another reason to fuck off HP.

  • Photosmart 6510: Printer not found the new router

    Hello

The Photosmart 6510 says that it is connected to the network of law with a beep sound intense, works with a usb cable and print a test without error page. BUT nothing comes out when I try to print something with wifi. It remains in the queue. Print and scan doctor finds nothing. WiFi worked before changing internet provider and so the router (I guess that's the name of the area which gives access to the internet). Tried to turn all market again and reinstall of the printer.

The supplier offered to modify the number of IP printer, that has not helped. Using Windows 7.

    Any ideas?

Thought I had answered this, but it is not displayed on the site.

Now printing without cable USB between the router and the printer. I think it's helped the router to communicate the correct number of IP to the printer.

Anyway, problem solved. Thanks for your efforts!

  • BlackBerry smartphone Wifi connection not - could not associate with network

Just upgraded to a Pearl to curve and al suddenly feel this seemingly common problem.

Sorry if this is a new topic on an old topic but I'm at the end of my home trying to find a solution.

To this day, I have tried

    Manual installation

    Static IP address

    Restoration of phone

    Removing the battery

    Remove the SIM card

    Restoration of router

So, today and only for purposes of research went to McDonald's for lunch and I tried their WiFi (had a quarter of a book with cheese with sprite for those interested) and just like back home, connects first time then drops then "impossible to associate with the network.

I'm on Orange with unlimited internet Blackberry to add on and everything worked fine with my Pearl.

Tried tech Orange, but good... .the less said the better there.

Any assistance received with gratitude and you will deal with a McD if you sort the problem for me

  • Ethernet connection not found

I have an iMac (retina 5K, 27 inches, end of 2014).

After the start, today, I had no Internet connection. Network preferences showed not connected Ethernet port (it was). I also have the same cable to my MacBook and it worked perfectly.

Network Diagnostics didn't help: it simply says that the computer does not seem to be connected to Ethernet, etc., and ND couldn't do anything.

I have reset the SMC and the PRAM, nothing.

I removed the network Ethernet interface in the network preferences... and he couldn't add. The option is not simply there:

According to this post is not enough spot - we , I deleted

    Any thoughts?

    If you use 10.11.x:

    Try this:

Start the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart normally. It will be slower than a normal startup.

MacIntel: Reset of the controller (SMC) system management

Reset the PRAM and NVRAM on your Mac.

Repair the hard drive and permissions - El Capitan

    HD recovery start:

Restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and hold down the COMMAND and R until the menu screen appears.

    Repair

When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility and press the continue button. Disk utility charges and select Macintosh HD entry indented from the list on the left.  Click the first aid tab in the toolbar... If disk utility reports any errors that have been corrected, then re-run first aid until no errors are reported. Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility and return to the main menu. Select restart from the Apple menu.

Now, download and reinstall OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 Combo Update.

If the problem persists then discovered this: Re-built-in ethernet disappeared.

  • HP Envy 15-k151us: HP Envy 15-k151us wifi connects not to do, I've got the wrong driver?

I deleted Windows 8.1 and installed windows 7 64 bit on my HP Envy 15-k151us, but I can't find the correct driver for my wireless b/g/n adapter. I went to the site to download driver HP and there were at least 4 driver packages. There was a driver package to a Realteck adapter, a card an Atheros card, Intel and Broadcom card. Since I don't know what adapter I have, I have downloaded all 4 of them and tried each of them. After I installed the driver, my laptop seems to recognize the adapter, but it wouldn't connect. I use the wrong driver? How will I know? How is it, I can't connect? It's only my laptop and nothing else.

My laptop has the following specifications:

    Intel Core i7-4710HQ 2.5 GHz

    Intel HD 4600 graphics card

    Hello:

You find the parts list for your laptop it comes with the Broadcom BCM43142 802.11bgn 1 x 1 Wi - Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 HMC combination WLAN adapter.

    http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=J6P00UA

The fact that you "threw each wireless driver in the book", could have a detrimental effect on the wireless setup.

I suggest you to reinstall W7 and install that driver wireless broadcom driver bluetooth and see if you get better results.

Driver LAN Broadcom wireless.  There is a newer driver than the one on your laptop support and driver page.

    File name: sp69014.exe

This card also comes with bluetooth, so you need this driver bluetooth also.

Software and driver Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0

    2 HD Intel graphic driver

    3. audio driver

    4. Ethernet driver

    5. wireless driver

Then you can install the rest in any order you want.
