WiFi connection to the slower

So I just got my motorcycle G 3rd generation and is surprised that only my speed 2.4 wifi appears when I connect my router to Comcast. The router also released a faster speed 5.0 which does not appear in my list on the phone. He sees my Droid maxx.
Someone knows why?

5 GHz is not supported. If you look at the Motorola Web site, it says Wi - Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz).

  • Satellite Pro M70-132: excellent WiFi connection but the pings are slow

    Hi all...
My Satellite Pro M70-132 have problems with Wi - Fi connections (WiFi built in)... Generally, when the connection is excellent (indicator of windows), the pings are slow - very long time: 1212ms, 325ms, 645ms, 2112ms, 91ms, s 168ms... etc 'demand time limit has expired' (or sth like this).
I have updated with the latest version of the Intel WiFi driver - it does not work...
I installed new system - it does not work...

Is it possible, that LAN WiFi is dead on my M70-132? How can I check before sending my 'Toshi' to the service?

(BTW - built-in Bluetooth has been switched off...)

I was tempted to access with several AP and also ad hoc. Every time, same results... connection strong-great but pings are slow... and often ping timeout...

The IP address has been set manually and automatically - it does not work... too multidimensional :-(

It's not metter WEP encryption is enabled, 'on' or 'off' and no authentication method does not change the situation with WLAN...

    Hello

If the work of WLan connection and you are connected to the router so I guess everything's ok.
Time to ping depends on not always the strength of the signal.

If you ping other ip on the net if the time depends on the provider and type of connection.
But if you ping your WLan router and it s very slow so it s a bit strange.

If you think there could be something wrong with the Wlan card then you can try asking for help ASP.

  • No Wifi connection after the installation WIN7 on Ideapad Y510

Upgrade to a larger hd and win7 Home premium. Installation went perfectly except for one thing - no wifi on intel wireless wifi link 4965ag. Convenience store shows the NIC 'not connected' and fails to pass 'association test' on a wireless proset software. Lenovo introduces only the drivers vista and xp for intel 4965ag. At Intel site, ran its Analyzer and he finished best driver installed, I had.

This is my thread at M$ this wireless connectivity problem is HUGE in Win7.

I also posted on the Intel website, a helpful reader suggested I try here at Lenovo.

Anyone having this problem when upgrading to win 7 and how you solved it would be great! I've been working on solving this for 3 weeks and I am puzzled. Thanks for any help. Matt125

Ah-Ha! Conductor of energy did not work. Don't know if deployed correctly. M$ did not win 7 compatible with Intel 4965ag backward. SOLUTION: BUY A USB WIFI! THIS PROBLEM SOLVED NO WIFI CONNECTIVITY. USING MEDIA LINK USB WIFI. SOLVED. THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS!

  • WiFi connects to the wrong supplier

Hi, I have a problem with my Acer Aspire laptop, which is Vista Home Premium. WiFi connects to BT Openreach instead of TalkTalk, which is my provider. It started a month or two it is

I removed BT Openreach in my list of network several times, I also tried to move it to the bottom of the list and unchecking the boxes. Whenever he reappeared in the network from the list, sometimes immediately, sometimes after a few days.

I suspect that this is due to a setting on my laptop, as it does not seem to occur on other computers in the House, but I don't know where to look.

Any advice would be welcome, thank you.

    bigbob6056

Thanks for the reply of Brian, as I said it linked not only detect the signal from BT.

I finally managed to get my son to have a glance, he thinks that Acer put in place was running at the same time as Vista a cause of conflict.

He changed a few settings on the side of Acer & this problem has not happened since.

Unfortunately I do not know what it changed, so I can't pass the details.

    Thanks anyway,

  • No WiFi connection between the laptop <-> printer... printing of habit!

My laptop does not show a green WiFi level or levels of ink for my Epson SX430 printer and will not print. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers updated as requested. All cartridges renewed and checked... Print test paper after 5 long minutes of waiting. Will not print a document windows? Printer shows RED above copy/printing area. Looked at all areas of problem-solving. Done everything that I can think to start... No chance!

    Hi Suzanne,.

I apologize for my late reply.

According to your description of the problem, you are able to work with the printer when it is connected directly to the system via a connection cable. I suggest you try the following steps to diagnose the reason the printer works fine with the system of didn't make any problems with windows except if connected wireless.

    Method 1:

Run the next fixit and check if it helps:

Diagnose and automatically fix problems printing and printer

In addition, check with the advanced sharing settings as described in the following method.

    Method 2:

I suggest you to change the following options in the Advanced sharing settings (Open Network & Sharing Center > Advanced sharing settings to change):

    -Enable network discovery

-Turn on the file and printer sharing

-Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read and write files in public folders

    -Turn off password protected sharing

Check if you can connect to the wireless printer.

In addition, please try the steps outlined in the following link:

    Solve printer problems

Hope this information is useful. Please post back your results for assistance.

    Thank you.

  • WIFI connects to the router but no internet connection on 15R 3521

Hi, the new laptop 3521 with Win7 Pro the WLAN will connect to the selected wireless router but is unable to establish an internet connection.

WLan Driver 1703 was duly installed once the Chipset driver was installed, as recommended.

Fortunately, other mobile devices to connect to the same router. Ubuntu on this laptop was also happy to connect to internet on WIFI, only Win7 fails.

Disabled the Win7 firewall, but no change. This connection, unidentified in the network and sharing Center.   Router SSID etc have been entered correctly. Remove the WLAN profile and not reinstated, no change.

Tried to connect to another router wireless with the same result. I can only run this laptop on wired connection to the router.

I am at a loss as to what other steps I could take to correct this key WLan / internet access.

Any suggestions would be welcome. See you soon.

    Hi love,

Thanks for your advice. I deleted the profiles (two identical found!), also removed all entries of all WiFi routers in Win 7 registry. This step has not resolved the problem.

However, I found the reason for the connection problem and the solution is the following:

In the wireless connected (TP-Link) router, wireless--> channel settings is set to 'AUTO' (which is to select automatically 20 MHz or 40 MHz).

In the device driver Dell WLAN 1703 (properties--> advanced--> bandwidth 802.11 n, the value has been set on (ie the Atheros is the default!))  "20 MHz.

Once I put the option value "20 MHz / 40 MHz Auto", the connection comes to life.

    What a relief!

The question is now completely resolved. Thank you to all who have contributed.

    Better with respect to Dzsino.

  • An excellent WIFI connection but the page cannot be displayed (until I pass to Ethernet)

I have a HP Pavilion dv1000 notebook pc with Windows XP

I thought I might have a virus so I reformatted recently using my restore CD (which I've done it before, but this time he has not left delete me a partition when reinstalling windows which gave me my first red flag).

I continued & ran windows updates up to what there not to the left.

I started having loss of WiFi problems (even if my wireless button is lit blue & wireless connection says connected & excellent). I tried to fix the connection & just about everything else I found in these pages to try (including but not limited to try each driver on hp.com download, firefox, restore internet Explorer 8 down to 7 & a fruitless Atheros download link).

My lack of WiFi (cannot display the page) became so bad, I only access Internet using my ethernet cable now (which I'm not having regular gives also access, fix my WIFI is important as soon as possible).

I reinstalled my backup media so I had rather not reformat again, but please let me know if there is something more to try or if it's my only option (especially if the restoration was inadequate because it didn't let me to delete the partition this time when he has in the past).

Thank you from any & all!

    Hello

Could you post back with a list of all the security software you have installed on the laptop.

In the meantime, to rule out interference from malware, download and install the free version of MBAM and SUPERAntiSpyware on the links below.

    MBAM

    SUPERAntiSpyware

When it is installed, run full scans with these two utilities.  Post back with the results.

Then, in the guide on the following link is the process to set up a static IP address.  Do not start at the beginning, starting with the topic "assign IP address."  Do not have the Ethernet connection is connected and make sure your Wi - Fi connection is active.

    http://www.hotComm.com/FAQ/faq_staticipxp.asp

    Enter the following values.

    IP 192.168.1.120

    Subnet mask 255.255.255.0

    Default gateway 192.168.1.1

In addition, assign the following DNS server address

    Server preferred DNS 208.67.222.222

    Auxiliary DNS 208.67.220.220 Server

After entering these values, don't forget to click OK in each open window, before restarting the laptop.

Check if you can now open web pages correctly.

    Kind regards

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Curve 9300 - how to prioritize between the Wifi connection and the carrier?

Hi all, I have a question... How do we place on our BB unit to plug into a wireless network from first (if available) to browse and not them connected to the internet all the stuff instead of using our carrier, then at home or at work?

There are no parameters for this on most devices, the WiFi connection will ALWAYS be priority for communication of data via the connection to the mobile network.

Some rare machines with capacities AMU have an Option to set this priority. UMA is a service of only a few mobile providers like Tmobile.

  • Even though I have my iPad WiFi connects to the internet even after that I have reset the network settings

Having never had a problem with my iPad since buying about 3 years ago, suddenly I can't access the internet use it & none of the applications that need the internet have access either. (since the last update for IOS 9.3) I have reset the settings of the internet and the WiFi signal at the top is visible. Airport app told me that I have access to the internet, but I did not!  Does anyone else have this problem? I would really appreciate a quick solution, because it's so annoying when things sync and I need them to-such as the events of diary, photos email etc. not to mention the SMS!  Any help gratefully received!

General suggestions for Wi - Fi problems, maybe one of them will help you...

    (1) perform a forced reboot: hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Leave the device to reboot.

    (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

    (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (recommended for 2.4 to 20 MHz bandwidth).

    (4) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

    (5) disable the prioritization of device on the router if this feature is available.

    (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

    (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

    (8) to restore the device (ask for more details if you wish).

    (9) go to the Apple Store for the evaluation of the material.

  • Satellite L10 - 195 - could not get the WIFI connection to the internet

    Hello

I downloaded and installed the latest dirvers for wireless cards and EThernet for my laptop but I can not get the wireless to connect to the internet!
Please help me before I crush my laptop. :]

    Thanx

PS: Anyone know if there is one special way (other than the function keys) to swith the wireless on?

    Hello

This may be a stupid answer, but on my laptop there is a switch on the front of the laptop that needs to be enabled for the wireless work. I saw this as a first step, and it doesn't seem to be well documented. Good luck.

  • ASUS Infinity wifi connects to the WRT54G Router and network, but not the internet

I have a WRT54G work throughout our House. It has 4 ports for wired ethernet and multiple wireless connections works without any problem. Currently my Droid phone, Tablet iPad and 2 laptops to connect and move to the internet via a wireless connection.

Today, I bought a new Asus TF700T Infinity tablet.  I can so he can connect to the router, see the network and the router can see the Tablet Infinity (assigns an IP address), but no internet access.

I need some ideas here, or suggestions as to what tools I can use to see where the traffic of the Tablet is blocked.  The newspaper on the router shows me nothing. I guess there is a port blocked by the router, but no idea those who.

Tried reset hard and a firmware upgrade does not.  In fact the latest firmware upgrade (4.21.5) watered the entire network, so I started 4.21.1

Maybe it's not a router issue maybe that's the problem with the Tablet? Can ping you the ip address assigned to the ipad? You can also try t o assign a static settings on your tablet. If these things still do not work, you may need to contact asus support.

  • Problem getting my WiFi connection after the mode 'sleep'

After my computer wakes from sleep mode, I click on my WiFi network every time to get on the internet.  If I restart my computer, it detects my WiFi network and connects ok.  It's just at the time when it wakes from sleep.  I tried many solutions that people have posted for example to remove some files from my SystemConfig., but have had no luck.

    Hi joycefromil,

I understand that your Mac has problems automatically re-login to a Wi - Fi saved after wake up from its sleep. I can understand the concern here; It seems that it would be a bit tedious to have to re - connect manually whenever you wake your Mac from sleep. I'm happy to help you with this problem.

As a first step, try to remove your Wi - Fi network in the preferred networks list and then add again using the steps here:

macOS Sierra: choose the preferred Wi - Fi networks

Try to test for the problem to see if it persists. If so, I recommend that you try to start your Mac in safe mode and test for the issue. Once you're done test in safe mode, restart your machine normally and try test again to see if the problem has been resolved.

If the problem persists in safe mode, try to create a test on your Mac user account to see if the problem is here. This will help to further isolate the issue. Take a look at this Web site for more information:

  • My daughter Air2 IPad takes too long to save. It is connected to wifi, connected and the screen is locked.mAny advice?

My daughter Air2 IPad takes too long to save. It is plugged in, connected to wifi and the screen is locked. Any tips?

How long is too long? If it lasts for more than a few hours - and even that is too long in my humble OPINION - then something is wrong. Completely backup, because it will not terminate in any case if its been so long, forced to reboot the device and try again.

To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

This may not work either. The backup may be damaged and you will need to remove and start over. However, its easy starting point and it will not hurt anything. If the backup will not end, he has nothing to lose.
